It would be really nice if someone would actually answer the phone. I don't have a car so I'd have to walk like a mile to get there and I'm physically disabled so I'm not going to walk there unless I know for sure they've got what I'm looking for but I can't find that out if people are too ignorant to answer the phone.TODAY 3/31/2024 I went back into this store AFTER checking to see if they had MEGA SMARTIES available to purchase. According to their website they have 52 packages, so miraculously enough my roommate let my physically disabled self borrow her car to go to get 14 packages But when I get there some fat, lazy, British sounding dude REFUSED to go into the back to get them and came up with all kinds of LAME EXCUSES as to why he couldn't. Then I saw a fairly young black girl putting stock back out and I explained and asked the same of her and AGAIN AN EMPLOYEE REFUSED TO DO THEIR JOB TO GET 14 OF THE 52 PACKS OF MEGA SMARTIES FOR A CUSTOMER !!! All because oh boo hoo their fat behinds would have to bend over at the waist and lift an incredibly HEAVY 1 pound, OH THE TORTURE!!!! THEY NEED TO BE FIRED !!!

Absolutely horrible & unprofessional manager! This girl has a very hood-booger attitude with certain customers. Acts like she doesn't want to help when asked where something is located in this sloppy store & doesn't provide correct info if she decides to even respond. But she loves to slick talk & crack jokes with those young guys that work there.

If your black you will be followed if you are an on going customer without stealing you will be followed and yet the employees do the most damage and steal from their own need to throw away the whole stores and yes again an black employee will follow black customers but not white customers on drugs, so yes throw this whole store away.

This is the dirtiest Dollar General I have ever been to. The store smelled bad upon walking in, the floor was very dirty, a lot of things were misplaced in the store. The staff were outside in front of the door smoking cigars. Just terrible.

Update: What a difference a year makes!! The female manager is ghetto & rude as I don't know what. Literally watched her go from 0-100 on a customer because they failed to mention not having receipt paper after ringing the lady up & tried to give her a hard time because she wanted proof of her purchase. Beyond that most of the staff that I encounter are funny & polite & they usually have what I want in stock

Yes my name is James I live about three blocks from the dollar store it's a nice convenient so that I can walk to the store I just recently moved to Wilmington from Dover and this is the courteous store customer service and managers a friendly and courteous someone handicap I have a three-wheel bicycle and didn't have anything outside to change it to you so they allowed me to put it inside the building while I was shopping all I needed a few things but that meant the world to me that they would look out you know and protect my investment of my bike because you know of being accustomed I give you guys a 4⭐ thumbs up , and thank you for welcoming me to Wilmington to the neighborhood and I will support this business everyday well maybe at least every week I plan on being a Wilmington making this my home and I hope you stay in our neighborhood thank you 🌅📢🎯☮️💯🇺🇸

It was better when it was Family Dollar . The shelves are usually half empty, they need a better inventory process. The fridges are always breaking down, so be careful when you purchase Dairy products. On the upside, The employees are always pleasant!!

You can get the typical dollar store items here and they had a good selection of last minute holiday decorations and candies. The store is nothing to look at, nor is the exterior street view, but the staff is consistently pleasant and will help you if needed. Good neighborhood store for a quick stop to pick up common items like bread, milk ..

I love that store. I can go in and pretty much get what I need. The people are nice and my niece works there which is lovely. She get me when I come there with her sodas b4 I ring up but she got that always. Great energy

Thee worst!!Never any items u need,u can never walk out of there with ur items n a bag..The store smells like trash all the time..There’s hardly any receipt paper..Dont ask for help or ull b arguin with one of them..The store is dirty as hell n a mess..I’ve never seen it cleaned since the day of opening..Ur never greeted when u enter n or leave the store..It needs a lot of shaping..💯

Good store, helpful and efficient staff. Only quibble is that stocking of shelves is hit-or-miss. Today there was no milk of any kind in the coolers. There are often empty slots on shelves, and my favorite brands missing - Staples like dog and cat food. Cat litter is so often depleted that I have had to start ordering from Amazon. I like the brands DG carries, just wish they would restock shelves more promptly.

The place is a complete DISASTER! Not just once, it's every time I have gone in there. Probably because they are all standing around laughing at the customers and cussing. Personally you should fire them all and start again! And put a responsible manager in there!

I like the Dollar General because it has a lot of things that I am looking for. The prices are reasonable. The staff are very nice. you can find almost anything at Dollar General.clothes, food, drinks, batteries, personals, lawn things, Toewls / wash cloth, shower curtains, rods. Like I said almost anything. I would definitely recommend it for your first time apartment. And if you are on a tight budget. You would definitely be satisfied for what you buy.

I was walking in trying to find juice and I walked around no one really said hi or low but going to the cashier one of the cashiers head that I need to put my backpack up to the front and no one said anything or walkthrough it was in there for about 15 minutes and no one said anything even ran into one of the cashiers just wanted to stop people no one said anything about leaving my poop back up to the front and it was really bad customer service

The people are nice and very helpful. I dont who the new mannager is but he really know how change a store for the best. Very clean and the alse are clear to walk down. Things can be easy found and noticed. It's safe to shop there.

Great Staff but its 10 days before Christmas 🎄 and they really didnt have much. Was looking for bulbs for our christmas tree. And a wreath for our door! Now i have to go and make one!

The only complaint I had was I spent $99.00, and it was Saturday February 2, and the man working the checkout would not give me the $5.00 off my purchase. I am new to the area and did not have a coupon. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Very disappointed with this location I had a return to do. when I was in line the customer in front of me was an employee. when she was done she was very rude to me and went behind the counter and when the clerk found out I had a return she was not to thrilled to do it, reluctantly she did ,none the less that was only the second time I had been at that location I dont think I'll be back !!!!!!!

They need to restock the selves. There section for home decor and crafts were bare at the Dollar General that I visited.
