Bakery staff is very friendly! Every person I talked to in the department was very nice and helpful. One of them even brought a cart over for me - so nice and thoughtful!!!! The cakes I ordered looked beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They were also delicious! Several people commented on how good the whipped icing tasted. This is my new Acme!!!! Thank you so much to the bakery department!!!!!!! ❤️

I stopped in today, desperately looking for four dozen not fancy cupcakes to take to a senior center. I tried four other stores and they didn't have them or they were ridiculously expensive. The folks in the bakery was so very helpful and quickly prepared them for me on the spot. I truly appreciate this wonderful group of people and the cupcakes were delicious!

I mean the floral dept is beautiful. But explain this to me, I was in acme on Conchester pike about ten mins away in Pennsylvania yesterday. Tiny cake is 10$ there. So I was closer to this acme today and needed to buy a cake today and went in. A cake the size of my hand , and I’m talking TINY, is 16.99$ 😂. I’m in my car now on my way to that other acme where the price of a teeny tiny cake is not almost double the price . Picture of cake included for 16.99$😂😂😂😂

I have shopped at this Acme every week for 15 years. I like the workers and the store.Ever since Covid, they discontinued their ticket system at the deli. At first, I understood. But since 2021, I have asked the store manager several times about implementing the ticket system again. I get continually blown off. But yet week after week, there are people standing in line at the deli (my record was 31 minutes).Other grocery stores have apps where you can order lunchmeat ahead. Some have computer kiosks where you place your order and pick up later. But not this Acme. Not even a ticket system where you can grab your ticket and shop a few aisles.Management is well aware but continue to operate in the laziest way possible. I showed them that they can improve their customers experience by ordering deli tickets on Amazon to arrive by “tomorrow at noon” but they are simply unwilling to consider how valuable their customer’s time is.

I usually like this location but I’ve had a few bad experiences with this location cashiers. Today decided to give my reviews. This cashier named Erik was super rude and unprofessional, he’s attitude seems to only be towards non-white customers!! Don’t go to cashiers, stick to the self checkouts!! Acme, you need to train these people better otherwise Giant is a better option!!

Used to go here all the time, but now the prices are absolutely ridiculous. When Genuardi's and Safeway were across the street, prices at ACME were a lot better.

Older guy at customer service desk will tell you there is no baby formula but really he just doesn’t feel like opening/ unpacking the boxes they are in.Came again today weeks after this post and he is there again. Again says no cans. Is it a coincidence that the only time you guys don’t have formula is, when he’s behind the customer service desk?

Acme was my favorite shopping store but their prices are getting ridiculous! Every day items going up and up!! 2 days ago a large container of pretzel rods was 8.49 - so todays special is 11.00 less 1.50 really! That is just a small sample- mayo 6.50 now that was 4.99. Guess I’ll be there much less now!!! Retired consumer who cannot afford these outrageous increases.I appreciate your response- yes I am a rewards member , however, what I have been seeing is that your store raises the prices and then the coupons just bring them back at the normal rate anyway.And with restrictions of “ Buying 2 “ in order to get the better rate certainly does not help! Who needs 8 of an item especially when it comes to yogurt- can’t eat fast enough.G.

Yesterday I bought English cucumber brought home I opened wrap and it extremely strong smell chemical made me wanted to throw up! So I don’t feel safe eating it. So I just threw it away.Please take my words and inspect and shouldn’t be in the market, it’s poison. I’m not kidding.Thank you for your cooperation!It’s imported from Mexico On Label.

I only go here because my mom makes me get her groceries here, I would never spend my money here! It's bad enough you have to bring your own bags or pay for them but most of the time there's only ONE cashier so you HAVE to use self check out where you always have to wait for an attendant to come clear the register because it never works properly. So now I am paying extra high prices to check myself out too!! Make it make sense!! I'd rather go to Food Lion get lower prices, free bags & decent customer service from an actual cashier.

This store smells horrid. Please clean the place and get the flies off of the produce. Prices aren’t competitive with other grocery stores, they’re just outrageously over priced in comparison. You really have to be careful grabbing anything off the shelves here. Unlike any other grocery store in the area, you are more likely to grab expired items off the shelves or have to sort thru multiple expired items to find the ones that actually aren't. I’ve gone to this store multiple days apart and the same items that were spilled over in the shelves the last time I was there, are still spilled over. I doubt some local hooligan is going there multiple days in a row and making the same exact mess. It’s just not even getting attended to. I’ve seen workers throw items at the shelves, it falls over, and they walk away. So that’s probably where the messes are even coming from in the first place. I would rather not get into contact with the proper Acme team and whatnot, because they have allowed this store to downgrade into the smelly crying shame it has become, so I doubt trying that would result in anything productive. I’ve had employees complain to me about the management while they’re on shift. I’d undoubtedly be ashamed of myself if I worked here. If you’re thinking about shopping here, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Or put some Vicks vapo rub under your nose. If you’re thinking about working here, or work here, get a job somewhere that doesn’t smell like dumpster juice when you walk in. I would also recommend, even more so, having an inkling of pride to shake the status quo of this establishment. I would really love to see a Wegmans in this stores place, if they even see it as worthy of taking, because their hiring process is much more demanding of quality and they want the customers to walk into a clean store that doesn’t smell repulsive. I’ve seen employees get rude with customers on multiple occasions. Unprofessional and classless. I don’t think I need to mention that I will never step foot in this store again, but competence seems to be lacking in this store. If Google allowed less than a star review, I would have sent it yesterday. Good riddance.

Always very clean. Unfortunately some of the prices are significantly highly than competitors.Butcher is a real Butcher and top notch. Short haured young man that runs the front is always on his A game. Deli and bakery always greet you politely. Overall great Job.

This Acme is not at the top of the local grocery stores (Wegmans, Whole Foods, Sprouts and Trader Joes). Nor is at the top of the second tier (Target, ShopRite, and Giant). Here, the parking is cramped, the self-checkout is small, and the prices, at least in my sample, are consistently higher.

Most items looked to be on sale but prices seemed to be little higher compared to Walmart or Food Lion. I liked the bakery section and the birthday/celebration aisles. Less crowd over the weekend. I will give it a try once again to check the offers otherwise a pass from me.

Placing online orders here is terrible. I decided to try their drive up and go shopping. I was really busy the week before Christmas and I knew the stores were going to be closing early for Xmas Eve and Christmas was going to be closed. I only purchased a few items I needed for the weekend. When I seen my order was ready they had made some terrible substitutions they gave me lite apple juice instead of regular. Chicken breast instead of a whole chicken and chicken wings that were double the price of the ones I wanted. Prepackaged cheese instead of going to the deli counter. I realized I will never use this option again. They also told me I couldn’t get a refund until Monday when the manager is in. It was Friday. I called Monday and spoke with the manager. She was rude and unprofessional. She had me on speaker phone talk to other associates in the room fast talked me and said I was going to be refunded for the items I returned. Some how they charged my credit card for $12. I was supposed to be receiving a refund. She couldn’t explain. I will just go to wegmans and target for their drive up option. At least if they make a mistake they correct it.

This place makes you break out! It’s called Acme/Acne for a reason. Although there’s one deli worker that’s kinda cute, look for him next time you shop. Looks better w out the hair net in my opinion.

Always friendly and clean. Lines aren't too bad during non peak hours. I do like seeing the same employees which makes it helpful when asking questions.

This is one of the smaller Acme stores so they don't always have everything I need but they are friendly. They do need to stop favoring the creamy people and restock the Skippy Super Chunk Natural in large sizes and the Margherita Sandwich Pepperoni 2-pound presliced packs .

Well stocked but could use more cashiers especially now that we have to bag our own groceries in our own bags. Takes longer to checkout. Update: added more self checkouts but I still like a good cashier. Can't get my Tuesday senior discount at self checkout unless I call someone over.

I LOVE the Bakery and Only Lancaster meats at Acme. I enjoyed the mix and match meat sale. Unfortunately that is the only thing I buy there though. ACME is extremely overpriced. I almost fell over when I saw them selling Iceberg lettuce for $5.00 a head!!!

The manager Stephanie is a disgrace, things got bad as soon as she took over this store. They are so cheap, they won't hire more help and the people who work there are over worked. This store can make so much more money. The only thing Stephanie cares about is saving a buck so she can get her bonus.

Don't recommend this place. I was checking out some things with my mom and it asked how many bags did the store provide then a lady who was managing the self checkout said "SO THEN CLICK 0" Then told me to put back the scanner but we forgot to scan 1 thing. The next time i came back was to grab some snacks for a party. I went to self checkout again and I got my receipt. But there was a little slip of paper that is separately printed with the reciept and a lady told me i have to wait for it to print. These people arent nice at all and never helped us with scanning. Please dont come here.

This is a beautiful supermarket. I had two issues. Number one they did not have any Matzos and this was at the beginning days of Passover. I was told they sold out. This is shocking thinking that the store of this size would be so short-sighted.My second issue was the fact that they have a gasoline deal advertised on the front window and the doors of the store. When I asked my cashier how I could apply for the gasoline credit program, she told me not to bother because it wasn't working. If it's not working they need to take the advertising down.

Never enough check out lines. Today, 2 lines and 6-7 people lined up at each line, plus the self checkout area was lined up. NOT good when you have ice cream and its 85 degrees outside. Customers should not have to walk up to the Customer Service staff and ASK FOR MORE CASHIERS. Where is the manager? Someone is not focused -- providing excellent customer service.
