I use the self wash. The facility has 3 wash stations. The staff is helpful and polite. The wash stations are clean and well maintained. I highly recommend it.

We’ve been taking our pup to Groomingdale’s since his first grooming. (6 years) We have always been pleased. Our dog is very friendly. He goes in and out happily and without a problem. Two days prior to Christmas he was groomed. My husband asked for his ears to be shortened a little. This was not the first time we’ve made this request. When we came to pick him up, which was at least 25 minutes earlier than usual and surprising to us, my first response was his ears are too short! I was told by the owner that my husband said we wanted short ears! I replied shorter, just like you done before, not short!I paid and took my shaking dog out to our car only to see he had been disseminated! Two thirds of his long fluffy ears were gone! They had shaved him to the skin under his ear. His body was super short and the cut was uneven looking like it was performed by a novice. I use dematting tools, brush, & comb multiple times per week to prepare him at home for grooming. If there were any problems we should have been contacted. I know he was fine and ready for his groom. We were beyond upset. Needless to say we will not return.

Groomingdales is wonderful. They have taken very good care of my blind pekenese. She usually gets a bath and a shave. They have been very kind and considerate.

If you have a dog that is purebred please reconsider before you go to this groomer. We took our Cavalier King Charles to get groomed. A wash, a trim , nails cut and when I saw my dog after they butchered her coat , I cried. They shaved my dog completely. Took off the outer coat and all the tufts around her legs, basically gave my Cavalier a mutts cut. It will take a year before it grows back.

This is a great find in.a convenient Lewes location. Besides a great name, they have great service to match. After 2:30 pm they do walk-in dog and cat nail trim appointments which is great for forgetful people like me! Our dog Edith's nails were crazy long and they did a great job and Edith seemed unfazed by it all. Thank you!

I take my cat to Groomingdales to get her nails clipped every 2 months. I have a very feisty cat, one that may or may not bite if she gets freaked out. They are very good with her, gentle, and kind. I could not ask, (or find), anyone better.

I gave it a one because it wouldn’t let me do a reviewTook my dog to get groomed I get a call that my dog was cut saying that she licked the scissors,, oh my goodness blood all over face and mouth took her to the hospital her tongue was cut in two places doctor said either we have to clip that part off ( her tongue)or try surgery and stitch it up my dog is 15 years old Didn’t know if she was able to go through the surgery or she was not coming home. The doctor sent me pictures of the surgery oh my goodness the cuts were deep in her tongue. Please do a whole lot of investigation before taking your pet to a good groomer:(

I’ve been taking my dog to groomingdales since they opened. This past week she went again but something was different. She was fine when she went into groomingdales but couldn’t put weight on her paw/leg when she came out - she was lame. I took her to the vets and paid $500.00 for the examination, X-ray and pain medication. Nothing was broken but her shoulder was extremely sore and she whimpered when the vet touched it. When I called and talked to the owner she was very defensive and absolutely refused to shed any light on what happened while my dog was in her care. My dog will never go back to groomingdales and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Really good groomers and staff our dog is elderly with bad back hips and they did a great stressfree grooming and full treatment for her. Not great at setting up appointments or returning calls but it's good to be busy I assume

Great place to take your cat or dog to get groomed. They pay close attention to your pet. Also if you would like sometimes they let you stay with your pet. And the day care is always helpful

This place sucks. They dropped my appointment. They require unnecessary paperwork. They make you wear a useless mask when you go inside. Don’t go here. You and your pet will be better off.

I was told when I called on Saturday that they are open for nail clippings from 3-4 p.m.I walked there..had to walk back home because of the mandatory mask sign but I got there at 3:44 and they were already closed. Time is very valuable and schedule things accordingly...it was a waste of my time.Deal breaker.
