I had a wonderful experience with Chloe. She is so friendly, sweet, and helpful! She worked with me on finalizing my design and never made me feel pressured to do anything I wasn't sure about. The piece turned out beautifully and I've gotten many compliments. Everyone in the studio was friendly and pleasant to interact with. I got offered water, coffee, pillows, etc, the whole time I was there.

I was EXTREMELY happy with my first large tattoo done by Ian years ago, so I decided to go back & get a smaller piece. I had my work done by Chloe, she is super nice & genuine! She did a great job & Im not at all dissatisfied with her work.My issue is, I called to ask if I could come in to get it touched up as the bottom just wasn’t shaded all the way (very understanding that this can happen & even thought maybe it could’ve been my fault so I was willing to pay something). The manager & I spoke, worked out a date then a few days before the appt I had a family emergency in Ohio.I again called & had to cancel. She did inform me that they might charge me. My original tattoo cost without tip was $125. So I went in to get it shaded at the bottom, only took maybe 3 minutes, If that. They charged me the whole $125 all over again. I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of a little bit. I’m a single mom & if I knew it would’ve been the whole cost again, I wouldn’t have came in & yes I do understand there is a shop minimum but there is really no reason to charge $125 for 3 minutes of someone’s time.

I went here to get my first tattoo a few weeks ago and the whole experience was great! Very friendly people with a nice looking and very clean shop. I found them through other good reviews on Facebook, everyone had great things to say about them and they still surpassed my expectations. My tattoo artist was Emily, she was very cool,down to earth and fun to talk to. I sent her a few styles I was thinking about and she took the best parts and combined them into a great looking design. Her line work was so clean my wife thought it was fake at first and now she wants to go to Emily for her next tattoo and some touch up work she needs. Over all a great experience and I highly recommend them. My wife and I will be going back there for the rest of our work from now on

I had my right nostril peirced today and can confidently say, I won't go anywhere else but here. They are very clean, and prioritize sanitization. The guy who did the peircing was very nice and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The people there were all very nice and friendly. I have very sensitive skin and their jewelry is the only jewelry that I haven't reacted to. I was told by a friend to go here and I am more than happy I did!

My experience at Tattoo Mafia could be described as nothing less than phenomenal. Lisa DeLauder was my artist and did outstanding work. You can go on their website and view her portfolio and it speaks for itself. Additionally, the staff, facility and overall experience was absolutely amazing! Sometimes, tattoo shops get a bad reputation. Almost like there is a stigma about the presence of one in the community. This facility and staff is providing a true 5 star service to their clients. They are incredibly passionate about their work. My piece was a memorial for my daughter. Lisa took the basic idea I had and turned it into a timeless masterpiece that will be with me forever. Another thing that really stood out for me was the girl that works at the front desk. I am sorry I forget what her name was and I don't want to assume her title is "receptionist" but, she is the first face you see when you walk in and the last one you see when you leave. She has an awesome personality for what she does. While greeting customers all day and managing all of the intake, ect... she even found time to walk around the shop several times to see if anyone needed to order food or wanted a coffee or water! If you are considering a tattoo, please stop in to Tattoo Mafia. You will NOT be disappointed!

Walked in for a double lobe piercing. Signing waivers was easy and the artists are all very professional. I was only charged for one piercing as the hole in the one lobe from a previous piercing was still open. Walked away very happy with two opals in my ear!

Got pierced by Codi yesterday and was totally impressed. She explained everything from start to finish, and she was super friendly. I felt totally relaxed and comfortable. This was my 1st time at Tattoo Mafia, and as soon as I walked in the door, I knew I had made the right decision. The place was clean, organized, and professional. It is like no tattoo shop I've ever been to before, and I can't imagine going anywhere else again. In fact, I set up a consultation for a new tattoo before I left. Excited to return!

When looking for a great place to get a tattoo or a piercing....I would have to say Tattoo Mafia is the best place to meet your needs. They have two amazing, phenomenal tattoo artists, Lisa and Chris, one incredible piercer/office assistant, Codi and two great friendly apprentices, Emily and Steve. From the first time I was tattooed by Lisa at Tattoo Mafia three years ago until my most recent appointment this year (2016), I have been treated with the utmost respect and was always made to feel comfortable. The tattoo shop is the cleanest shop I've ever been in (which I have been in several in Delaware). From the moment you walk in you are greeted by one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. Codi has always been appropriate and professional. I have set many appointments with Codi and she has always made me feel comfortable. Having had the opportunity to sit for several full day tattoo sessions with Lisa, I have also been able to observe Codi interacting with many clients and potential clients which she has always been completely professional. I was reading through the Google reviews for Tattoo Mafia and one recent review has disheartened me. I feel the need to address this individual because I believe that you should never put slanderous and inaccurate information out for the public to read. The bell Bells review is most likely fake. I also believe that this individual has never set foot in the Tattoo Mafia shop because their description of the shop is inaccurate and the inappropriate and benighted comments made toward Codi where inhuman. Please when reading the Google reviews, please take note that all but one review shows an adequate depiction of the staff and tattoo shop.

I discovered this place through my mother, whom had her tattoo done by Chris and was not disappointed.I got his amazing wife Lisa to do my peice, and I am equally not disappointed. There is great balance between what you want your piece to look like, and what your artist thinks would make your piece really pop!Everyone there is professional, welcoming and super helpful. Its a very relaxed environment.The shop itself is always clean, they take cleaning and safety very seriously there. You can tell, just from walking in the front door they take great pride in keeping their shop and equipment spotless. You can be sure the equipment they use is safe and clean, and they do their best to ensure you are comfortable throughout your session.They also make sure that when you leave, you are set up with everything you might need to take care of your tattoo and any information you might need. And any and all questions you might have, they are always only a call or an email away!All in all, I loved the place and the staff. Definitely going to be going back for more!

I got a triple helix done by Codi and I am so happy I went to her! My piercing came out exactly how I wanted it and Codi was so nice and helpful! She answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed to take care of my piercing. She is a true professional and if you ever want anything pierced I highly recommend her! And for an added bonus this shop is so nice and clean! It's one of the best I've been too and I will definitely go back.

I absolutely love Tattoo Mafia, the atmosphere, the people, the shop. The people are super friendly in there and make you feel like family. All of the artists are amazing, and I love all of their work. The shop is so clean and well kept which is super important for shops. And Codi!! I absolutely love her, in all my years of being pierced i have never found a piercer that i truly like and appreciate until now. Codi is an amazing person and you can tell that she really loves her job. She talks you through the process of the piercing, gives you all the information that you need to take care of your piercings. And always has a wide variety of jewelry on hand, and she really cares about her clients. And the migraine piercing is such an amazing thing, i got my piercing almost 6 months ago and have had only 1 migraine in those 6 months (: Its amazing. She is always wanting to learn new things and help out all her clients. And I love that! I ALWAYS recommend her to everyone when it comes to piercings. I would not send them anywhere else.Tattoo Mafia is the place to be. Worth every penny! <3

A week ago was my first time going to Tattoo Mafia. I'll first start off by talking about the shop.WOW. Talk about a nice, clean and professional shop. I felt absolutely no worries going into the shop. Which is a pretty big deal for me and most people. So clean and organized. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into this shop compared to most in the Dover area.The staff was friendly and awesome. I went in for a specific piercing, so I didn't talk to everyone, but they all greeted me when I walked in.I came to this shop to get pierced by Codi. ANYONE who needs a piercing, Codi is the girl to go to. SUPER friendly and professional. She not only has exceptional customer service, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about what she is doing. My piercings came out SO MUCH better than I had ever expected. The whole process was enjoyable. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. No lie.. I had no other option than to rate my experience with Codi and the shop with a full 5 stars.HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!

FOR A MINOR, BE SURE TO GET THE FORM SIGNED BY A NOTARY BEFOREHAND. We had to go back the next day because I didn’t even think to ask when not called. But, it was worth it. I took my 16 year old to get a spider bite and a repierce of his lobe. When I got my first tattoo/piercing 20 years ago, the shops were intimidating and overwhelming. Every tattoo I have isn’t exactly what I wanted because I didn’t speak up and felt unable to due to the environment. This is true for the 3 shops I had been to. The difference between my past experiences and this shop is mind blowing. Robert is absolutely amazing and every staff member was helpful and understanding. I’ve been putting off a coverup because every artist I’ve asked balked at a coverup. The shop manager (I feel horrible at forgot his name) acted like it was nothing and was super open to our endless questions and my son’s nonstop nervous talking. I listened to a consult while we were waiting and the artist was so sweet and helpful to her client. I’ve scheduled an appointment for some work and I am so excited to get started.Service: Piercings

I got my nose pierced today by Codi and she was super excellent! She was warm and welcoming from the door. She was extremely thorough, professional and informative. It was like talking to a friend. I've know Chris and Lisa for a long time. A friend and I had bad tattoo experiences elsewhere and were kinda just turned off to the whole profession, but we decided to give a couple shops a try. He made an appointment at one, but then called and cancelled. We then went for a 7:30 consult at the old shop in I want to say 2012, and it's been a great friendship ever since. I'm greeted with warm hugs in a completely friendly atmosphere. Their new shop is just the icing on the cake. With the addition of Codi, the shop manager and piercer and their new apprentices, it truly feels like a family! I've had 7 tattoos done by Chris and yesterday got a piercing done by Codi. My friend travels from Colorado and is covered is Lisa's work. I won't go anywhere else. They are completely sterile and I've never had any issues with their work, just constant compliments. When you're there, you're family.

I am not someone who normally writes a review unless I truly feel strongly about the business or service. When it comes to Tattoo Mafia, there are several things that stand out to me that make this the “go to” tattoo shop in Delaware, and frankly the entire Mid-Atlantic. Here is why:1. Cleanliness. This Tattoo shop is immaculately clean. From the moment you walk in you get the sense that they take enormous pride in their work area and look to provide the cleanest and most safe environment for you to get your service completed.2. Customer Service. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a warm welcome and a willingness to help. If you are there for an appointment they always look to go above and beyond for your visit. They offer you coffee or water, and they will even provide you with menus to local restaurants so that you can purchase food and have it delivered to the shop. They take the hassle out of you having to order the food and they place the order and track it for you! When your service is complete, they ensure you have all the products and knowledge of how to take care of your new tattoo or piercing. They always look to make sure you leave 100% satisfied.3. Talent. I personally have been tattooed by Ian three times now. He has made me feel incredibly comfortable every visit. He works hard to make sure you are completely satisfied, from the consult to the end product. He is very meticulous and takes tremendous pride in what he does. He also will make you laugh at least 100 times, which definitely helps take your mind off of the pain! It is not just Ian though that makes this shop. Chris and Lisa, the owners, are truly great people and they have built an amazing team. You can tell just from the culture and vibe they have in the shop, that they have worked hard to make sure their brand is represented well. If I didn’t have such a loyalty to Ian, I honestly would let anyone in that shop tattoo me, as they all have a loyal client base as well as a great portfolio.If you are trying to decide where to get a tattoo, look no further; Tattoo Mafia is hands down where you need to go!

I saw Codi Lyn Canasa to get my septum piercing after it was incorrectly pierced as two previous shops. The staff was so helpful over the phone and in person and Codi did an amazing job! She explained everything before she prepped me to get pierced, she took her time finding the perfect spot, and she pierced it beautifully! I was beyond excited when I looked in the mirror. I scheduled a tattoo last month, I went to my appointment early expecting the artist to be worth another client! I was wrong, he was waiting for my appointment! Got a GREAT tattoo, and had a fun the whole time I was there. ( Most places get weird after a couple hours!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The talent they have in the Mafia is great! Just got done my second appointment to get peirced by Codi. I can say i have never been more impressed by an artist than I was with her. Both times she walked me through what she was doing and showed my how she had everything set up before she even made a move to do my piercings. She was all smiles and that was nice. She is all about making sure her clients feel welcome and happy as well as comfortable. I can happily say that I will definitely be coming back when I want another one and lets face it I will.
