No carts in the store to shop with but a cart blocking every cashier isle. I had to go outside to get carts for the senior citizens. This is tacky and unacceptable. The manager needs to be let go for making this decision and allowing this to happen.

We go their mostly for their meats. They have certain meats there that we don't find elsewhere... IE flatiron steaks.

This location has gluten-free items clearly marked with a tag. The tags are easy to spot while walking through the aisles. The one problem is gluten-free items on the bottom under gluten filled items. Those containers are now overtly contaminated and unsafe for someone who is on a medically necessary gluten-free diet to handle.

Food Lion has the freshest milk in Dover, DE. The expiration date is usually half a month away!!! It is a small store with low prices.

Cashier got an attitude when explaining that SOME carts lock when attempting to push them outside the store. I'll be going to Redner's moving forward as they provide better customer service.

I had a fantastic experience with Food Lion today. Thanks to the manager Jason who wasn't even there. We spoke previously and he looked out for me. I appreciate that👍👍☺️

I did not shop in store, I placed an order online for delivery. I received all items except 3. What I really like about the shoppers, they don't just say it was unavailable and refund you. You get notifications every step of the way, when they start shopping your order, if something is unavailable, they text to let you know, then give you a choice of items to replace with, or have a refund. You get real time texts when they are finished, start checkout, and when they are one their way to you. Personally, I really appreciate how they let you know if something is out of stock & offer you a choice of other items or a refund if none of the replacement choices appeal to you. The only thing I do get frustrated with at times, is the app tends to run extremely slow. That's when I just close out, take a break from it for a few, then open it up and pick up where I left off. An upgrade or two, and I'm pretty sure that problem would be solved. 😉I recommend Food Lion online ordering for delivery.

First and last time going here. Ordered a birthday cake for my kids. I wanted buttercream and they gave me whipped cream and then they told me that they called me to let me know they didn't have buttercream but the call log and my voicemail says otherwise. Then the lady and bakery proceeded the time she doesn't know what to tell me and let's not talk about the customer service person. Rude and unhelpful. I can spend my money elsewhere. Hopefully wherever I go they'll be able to follow instructions because they can't here.

Love the prices but 2 complaints. The rotisserie chickens always look like they were thrown in the bags and the higher priced ones look undercooked! 2nd and most annoying is the cashier look like a cow chewing her gum. If that wasn’t enough she was cracking it. Very rude and unprofessional.

Nothing like having a cart full on groceries while it is pouring and the cart wheels lock on you. It was the last thing I needed after working and trying it get home quick to start dinner. So not happy😣

This is my go to grocery store. Their Food Lion product line is actually quite good and an excellent value. Store is clean and well managed. Their staff are pleasant and helpful and typically have enough cashiers so that your wait is minimal. I wish they had delivery or curbside pickup ... but other yhan that its a great store.

Just like any other supermarket but one thing I do give FOOD LION credit for over all other grocery stores that they do have seeded watermelon often, I don't eat seedless.

The store is very clean and the workers are very friendly. You can tell they like their jobs. The prices are very cheap. There's nothing food wise you can't find here. Their selection of meats is better than Wal-Mart. I prefer going here over Wal-Mart just for the better experience. The lines alone are a step up. They always have cashiers open. It's an overall better grocery store.

If you MUST shop here check the expiration date. On that note, stay away from the “manager’s special” in the meat cooler as they have no problem selling you beef that is three different colors, stages of spoiling, I honestly don’t know how that’s legal. They constantly run out of change so if you go in expecting to get nickels and pennies at least you won’t be disappointed in that regard, but when your bag rips and your groceries are all over the floor, keep in mind that’s because the company is cheap and doesn’t care about quality.In a previous review I mention the store was clean and I am embarrassed to have even said that, considering they hire people to clean the grounds take notice of the garbage spilling over the bins and the area in front of the store where the carts go, trash everywhere. This the family dollar equivalent of grocery stores and I don’t recommend it in any regard.

Shelves we're stocked full. Fruits and vegetables appear fresh and cold. The ladies in the deli were a riot which made for a fun time while waiting. Overall a nice experience for a grocery store I've never been to.

I love food lion, but a few of the employees are a joke half don't know anything about store and the other half of the few are just showing up to get a paycheck, lazy as heck and ALL and I mean ALL of the stockers need to be retrained. Shelves empty and really sloppy, items in the wrong place. Produce and Dairy need replacements, especially produce that guy really needs to be retrained other than that the store is great. I would go everyday if I had the money to spend. Thanks Food Lion you made my day.❤

I love my Food Lion grocery store. They have remodeled the store aisles making it much easier to locate any items you're looking for. Shopping here I can find most of the major brands of foods that our family loves to eat. You should never shop without using the Food Lion app which is very user friendly. Also you can still use your manufacturing coupons along with the food lion app to receive good savings which are needed especially during these days of quarantining!
