My dogs stayed at Madilin's during an annual family vacation to Bethany Beach. It was absolutely wonderful!I have been a dog owner for 10 years, and I've owned 2 dogs for the last 2 years; and this was the best service I've ever gotten for my dogs. Everything was well taken care of, and I could tell my dogs enjoyed their vacation with Amanda as much as I did with my family. The price was incredibly fair, and the care was outstanding.I really can't recommend Madilin's enough. I imagine the highest praise I could give is that I went on to Google to leave this review, because she deserves your business.

This was the second year we boarded our dog Andy here, and as always it was a fantastic experience. Andy came home refreshed from his little vacation, looking dapper with his new haircut and tired from playing with the other dogs all week. We are so thankful to have a place like this to board our family pet while vacationing in Bethany Beach and can't wait to return next year! Thank you again for taking such great care of Andy!

Very unpleasant experience. We went to sign up our 11 month old puppy up for daycare and was told she had to be spayed and go through observation. I told her she was getting spayed and we could come back Sat. July 28 for observation if that was a good day. (This was 3 weeks notice) she said sure..just call us a week before and we will get her in. I called a week before and she was an extremely rude, short and just had a terrible attitude with me. She said they were booked for that weekend (that they were booked 2 months out?!) Really? Why wasn't I told that before so I could make other arrangements. We are not talking about boarding, we are talking about doggie daycare for a day. Then, she said her bordatella vaccine had expired. I advised we were just at the the vet and she was up to date. She wanted to argue. I contacted our vet (who is very reputable) and they advised she is up to date until 11-27-18. She is only required to get it every year. The vet said anymore than every 12 months is excessive. I contacted Amanda back and she once again was short and rude. She said she wasnt welcome until she got another vaccine. Very upsetting that she requires the dogs that go there be vaccinated every 6 months and the veterinarian said 1x every year is all they should have that vaccine. We are all about the welfare of our golden, so she will not be going to this doggie daycare.

I was saddened to see someone give this wonderful local business a negative review, but given MY experience with Amanda and Caci at MadiLins, can only interpret that it reflects more on the nature of the reviewer feeling put out having to follow rules meant to keep everyone’s dog safe than reality. My reality is that I am incredibly grateful to Amanda for creating a business model that puts my dog above her profits. Yes, she’s popular and can sometimes book up, but do you really want your dog in an overcrowded facility? Yes, it’s a bother to get the bordatella vaccine every six months, but given that my dog is on immune suppressant drugs for severe allergies, I am beyond grateful to her for enforcing it! There are some reputable, but old fashioned vets who only require it every year, but modern data-driven research has proven that particular vaccine is only viable for 6 months. Aside from my dog’s susceptibility to viruses, he regularly visits with a neighbor dog who is elderly and medically frail, and I couldn’t forgive myself if hewas exposed to something and gave it to her. So to those who complain about the annoyance of protecting their own dog’s health, please, go somewhere else!If you want the best possible care for your pet, at insanely reasonable prices, and want to be treated with respect and professionalism, then MadiLins is for you. If you aren’t willing to follow the protocols and procedures she has put in place to keep your (and my) dog safe, it’s not. Thank you, Amanda and Caci, for caring for my dog like you would your own, and for treating my family like your own!

This is a wonderful place to board your dog . Cage free boarding and my pups are treated like part of the family . They enjoy time outside , socialization with other pets and aren’t alone at night . I just love it here and don’t worry at all about my pups !

FIRST LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT AMANDA ( THE OWNER OF MADILINS POOCH PAWLOUR IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND LOVING TO THE PETS THAT ARE IN HER CARE. I RECENTLY BOARDED MY 3 DOGS AT MADILINS, I WAS SO NERVOUS ON THE WAY TO DROP THEM OFF, BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS HAD FAMILY MEMBERS TO WATCH THEM. AS SOON AS I WALKED IN, I WAS PUT AT EASE. AMANDA ALSO TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW THAT MY ANGELS WERE PERFECTLY FINE. AMANDA TREATED THEM AS IF THEY WERE HER OWN. I WOULD RECOMMEND MADILINS HANDS DOWN.CYNTHIA
