The store is terrible and it’s clear the people running it don’t care. I’ve gone in to find products expired. Ice cream that melted and put in the freezers. Always have at least one thing I need out of stock. Also I don’t recommend using their order online pick up service. My husband and I used it numerous times. There was always an issue. Bad produce, wrong items or items I didn’t even order. Sometimes, they claim they didn’t have an item but I went in the store on the same day and they had plenty. My husband has made complaints to the manager about the pick service but nothing changes. Cause like I said nobody cares.

All products price are very high.. For example: Mango price: one Mango is $2. Whole sales price of a full sack is 2 dollars.. That mean, if you take one Mango, they get full price of the sack!! Any product you take this is the price.. This will loose our money… very cruel,unkind and hard minded Owner he is . People want to live in this country!! what type of business it is???

Absolutely one of the worst experiences since I've been shopping here. From start to finish, the cashier was completely rude the entire transaction. I take the time to organize everything I purchase when placing them on the belt by Category (ex), can goods with can goods refrigerated with refrigerated, and so on. She proceeded to scan everything, so Rapidly has if she was doing me a favor, throwing all items to the point where all the grapes came out of the bag. No apologies or acknowledgment of her mistake. She obviously needs some retraining in customer service and management like always nowhere to be found.Stay away

Unfortunately I have to agree with so many others about this location. Unfortunately today when I tried to help pack my groceries , I received extremely poor service from the bagger. Who denied my help during the packing process. The person at the register provided terrible service. Even after spending almost $300.00 it seems to me that most of the employees are doing us a favor. How embarrassing! You could do better!

Love Hate Relationship. The self check-out machines drive me nuts, but it's close, convenient, and with coupons can be reasonable. Although I would really prefer Big Y or Shop Rite

Disgusting, filthy, smelly, and low quality produce/meats. Hoping this store goes out of business and Trumbull gets a Big Y or Shop Rite in place of it. Employees are rude and likely underpaid/undervalued.

This Trumbull Stop in Shop is the WORST STOP IN SHOP IN CT. OLD, OLD OLD. IT DESPERATELY NEEDS A MAKEOVER. Take a walk down the isle and youll hear pple complaining about it. There is ALWAYS not just one thing out of stock but 99%of the time there are 2or 3 things out of stock. The self check out machines CONSTANTLY BEEP WHEN trying to scan. Thank god there are staff pple there to help u. Prices are ridiculous.

I frequently visit this stop and shop location for my grocery needs and I always find what's on my grocery list. The prices are good and the products are always stocked. Call me old fashioned but I still use coupons which I get from the entrance of the store in their flyer. I am always looking to save some cash. I haven't had any bad experiences here and would recommend this stop and shop to anyone. Five out of five stars.

Store is clean, happiness amongst employees is 50/50. Most are helpful, others will ignore you. If items are not on sale groceries are very expensive. All Boars Head deli meats are very high in price, if you go to a local deli you can save a ton.

I frequently shop at Stop & Shop in Trumbull. Ran in tonight for snacks for a friend who's visiting. Looked for milk chocolate Kisses and there were only flavored ones in the candy aisle. Found milk choc in Easter candy aisle. They were in an open box in with bags of Reese's peanut butter cups. The sign below the box said they were on sale for $12.99. 😁 At checkout, they rand out at over $15. I went back, took a picture of the sale sign, then showed the worker at the self-serve area. He looked at the picture into the problem was that the date on the sign was 3/16 so the sale was over. I express my belief that if the sign was there even if it's 5 days old, I should be entitled to the sale price. He asked another person and that woman walked all the way back to the Easter candy I owe with me. When we got there. She looked at the sign very closely and said the sale was for the Reese's but not the Kisses. I let her know they shouldn't have the kisses in the same box right near the sign. Then. She apologized and said well. That's what it is. I let her know I was very disappointed and felt that I had been misled. She you again apologized and let me know that's how it was. I expressed my displeasure and let her know I had no choice but to share this experience on a review on social media. At that point she offered to give me the sale price. I told her I really thought she should have done that initially. Be very careful when you're in Stop& Shop in Trumbull and check the sale tickets closely. Not the best way to treat customers.

2 stars only because the employees I interact with are always very friendly and do the best they can to help. This Stop & Shop has a pretty bad selection and they’re consistently sold out of very basic items. The self check outs scales are extremely sensitive and consistently require an employee to clear out whatever errors it prompts. Other Stop & Shops tend to have a better selection, as well as other local grocery stores. I’m not sure why this particular Stop & Shop is always poorly stocked but 8/10 times I leave without a majority of the items I need.

This stop and shop is so disappointing. It shelves are always empty. It never has anything I need I would like to know what is going to be done are they going to revamp the Stop & Shop do away with it put a new grocery store in Trumbull what is the deal something needs to be done because everybody I talk to is going to another town to go grocery shopping and it’s ridiculous. it says that the Shell gas stations are affiliated with Stop & Shop. And yes they are the Stop & Shop on quality Street. There’s a Shell gas station right across the street but it’s really not a Stop & Shop gas station. Yes, they take the gas points but I stop and shop gas station. The difference in price is anywhere from $.08-$.10 in the price so explain that to me makes no sense that they affiliate that one with Stop & Shop in Trumbull Connecticut

Very nice clean modern store. Very well designed. The employees are very helpful and courteous. The Passover merchandise was marked down a lot. Six oz of solid white tuna was .75 a can. Great staff

This stop and shop is from hunger. They never have everything I am looking for. I have to go to stop and shop bridgeport or the big y to get the items I used to get. Additionally, the website doesn’t provide for any opportunity to provide feedback from customers. Perhaps if the solicited feedback they can make some positive change. Really disappointing store overall and it seems to get worse.

Always clean and well stocked. I shop here at least once a week, most of the employees are friendly and professional. They managed to keep in stock a lot of products most stores did not have during the pandemic (toilet paper!) I'd recommend this stop and shop over the others in the area!

I went to Quality St on Valentines Day and picked out a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The girl behind the counter wrapped them in cellophane while I picked out a card.I paid and left the store.Upon returning home, the bouquet had FOUR-broken flowers, and no Baby’s Breath. It looked like a cheap, lousy purchase. I spent over $30.00 for this. I’ve been buying Valentines Day flowers from this store for over 20 years and never had such a lousy purchase before.I looked on the stores website for a contact button to express my displeasure, but found none.My wife and I both deserved better.

Trumbull Stop N Shop rocks! I've been a S&S customer in Connecticut for nearly 30 years now, and have been a regular at the Trumbull store for over 20 years. This is the best Stop N Shop I've ever shopped at, and among the best supermarkets (I'm originally from New York) that I've ever been a customer of. Great selection, great people, great prices & specials. The Management & Staff of this store should be commended, it's GREAT every time I go there. AND... they carry Nathan's products (crinkle cut fries!), Sabrett (hot dogs & onion sauce!), Levy's (Jewish rye bread!), White Castle (burgers!), and Fox's U-Bet syrup (and everything else to make a great egg cream!). Sometimes I think I'm back in NY when I'm shopping there! 5 stars!!!

I had a wonderful experience when visiting Starbucks in Trumbull Stop and Shop. The women baristas were speedy and respectful. They listened and got my drink completely right! I would highly recommend going to this one instead of the one down the street!

Good staff, some employees have been there for many years. They try to help customers. Store is clean and generally well stocked. Produce is very good here.My local store. Open during Pandemic and doing their best in tough times. Union workers are your neighbors.

Today is my 1st time at this stop&shop. My experience was a happy one. Everyone I interacted with was very healpful and polite. The prices were just as good. This supermarket is out of my way,however I may make it my shopping ground.

We have been shopping at this location for about 20 years. It used to be our "go to" grocery store... however, the overall experience has deteriorated greatly over the past few years (not just during COVID). We had an experience today that left both myself and my wife vowing to go elsewhere for our groceries. First off, allow me to point out that the pharmacy staff are very nice and helpful. Linda, specifically, is a stand out at the pharmacy... this review is not about the pharmacy, but just the overall experience of the grocery shopping. Many items (not just paper towels and toilet paper) are missing from shelves... and there are not enough 'open' check-out lanes to handle the volume of people. The self check-out experience was so bad (machine kept having an error that required the manager to reset it) that we gave up and went to wait in line to be checked out by a human. The deli people are consistently rude, act like they're annoyed by your presence and are doing you a favor by slicing your meat. If you have any other grocery store that is convenient to your location, I would try that prior to going to this stop and shop. I highly recommend Caraluzzi's (any of their locations...Newtown, Bethel or Georgetown).... that's a very well-run, quality grocery store that Stop and Shop should learn from. EDIT: I see that the "owner" responded... left a web address and an 800 number to discuss, yet didn't bother to leave a contact name. I dialed the 800 number... it has a menu of options... so much for the personal touch. This is lip service and an empty gesture.
