I love the selection of italian food, cakes and ready to eat meals. This store is clean with helper person taking out your cart and help you to load the items into your car! wow thank you so much!!. This is one of my favorite store in suffield CT. The price is reasonable.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be buying food from here again. Yesterday I bought a sandwich, Boston cream pie bomb, and a slice of peppermint bark cake. However, upon eating 80% of the Boston cream pie bomb, I discovered the middle custard filling was covered in mold!!! The outside was covered in chocolate which prevented me from noticing it earlier. Totally disgusting!! If the inside filling was covered in mold then I can only imagine how OLD it was. Meaning they are not maintaining/keeping their food fresh. Who knows how long some of that stuff in that case has been there. If that is how their bakery is maintained I imagine the same goes for their deli & rest of the groceries there. I wish I had taken a picture but immediately spit it out & tossed it in the trash along with the other piece of cake and the sandwich. All of which costed over $20 btw!

I’m really getting fed up with this store since it changed hands. I’m sick of having to return because the kids at the meat counter almost always screw up the prices. Starting to think this is intentional. I’m sick of meats and produce being past their expiration all at inflated prices. I didn’t mind the high prices when Highland owned it as they were not as careless. Finally, the place looks more like a Dollar Store every visit.

Friendly staff, Great selection, Great sales!!!! Pilgrim sandwich is a must try. There pre-made mac salad and potato salad are fresh and not heavy on the mayo. So many cool items you don't see anywhere else. Great produce, butcher, seafood counters! A little pricey but ABSOLUTELY worth it! My husband is obsessed. Also lots of Vegan/Veg options.Just want to mention again, the staff is awesome.

Been here as a customer and then an employee since before the change in ownership, and it's been nothing but up. Never felt unrecognized for my work personally, and I definitely haven't seen any employees treated unfairly or being put down. Management is basically the same, and if anything, when I've seen that management has had to talk with anyone, I've been impressed with how it's been handled compared to other places! They could be really nasty about dealing with an employee who's stealing or using things they shouldn't on the clock, but they just haven't been, even giving them a few warnings first.Pleasant place to shop, pleasant place to work!

Astonishingly excellent and consistent. We’ve been shopping here since it opened. We factor in money saved in time and auto costs.Meat and poultry are the best. The staff are always helpful, polite and fast. Their policy of carrying packages to your car is like icing on the cake.(Their cake and pizza are excellent too.) Home delivery saves even more.

Great selection of products from low to high end. Always clean and so much to choose from that I wind up choosing something different each time. Full service with pizza, bakery and deli.

I love the convenience and don't even mind paying a bit more for a small privately owned market..but, I got some pre-made turkey burgers from the meat/butcher dept a couple weeks ago, opened that night to make a turkey burger and they were so spoiled, the smell almost knocked me over...had to freeze them and wait for trash day to dispose of. Will continue to shop there, but never ever for meat/fish.

If I could I would give this location a ZERO. I bought cod last night and it was riddled with bones. I shop at this location because it is supposed to be a specialty shop with higher quality food and higher prices. I was wrong. When I call today to ask if their practices have changed since they changed their name from Highland Park market. The management said they could not help me. I believe that they should for the extra prices the fish monger should check the fish before it is sold....and they were doing this before the name has changed. I spent a lot of money for the fish and was not happy with it at all. I will NOT be shopping here again. Really bad experience.

My favorite place to buy groceries. Though it's smaller than the big commercial stores, the produce is always super fresh, they use tons of local suppliers, and their butcher selection makes it easy to shop for households of one or two! Also - the sushi is the best and the bakery has so many delicious treats! You can even stop in for a quick sandwich on your lunch break from the deli or grab a slice of pizza on the go!

Highland Market was a pleasure to shop at. The camaraderie amongst the employees was wonderful, and I could see they all enjoyed working there. They all would give their best and I felt good shopping there. Now, with the changes, and the new management and name, I will never shop there again. They treat their young impressionable employees like cattle and do not recognize their hard work. It's like they aren't even people. They are belittled and inordinately devalued by UPPER management instead of being appreciated for their efforts. I would say to people, DO NOT SHOP THERE. You would be supporting a draconian form of upper managerial execution of power over an employee that has no recourse.

The produce, deli, bakery and butcher shop are outstanding. The staff here are top notch and offer carryout service which is helpful when you have kids and could use an extra hand with bags.If you can't find an item there, I've found that asking the manage to stock something has been a very easy process. The prices on some items are high, but the quality of their fresh foods make it absolutely worth it.

***EDIT and reasoning to go from four stars to two is below initial my initial review.***They've done a great job with the transition! That being said, the layout for a checkout line is still lacking, as it was prior to the change. It would be nice if there was a clear area to be in line. As it is now, folks pretend to "not see" folks already in line.EDIT - I personally feel that new ownership has taken a (seemingly) successful formula for the store, and has turned it into a flat-out money making attempt. Ridiculously overcrowded aisles that make it difficult to find anything. Counters that close an hour early but signs that say it's for the customer's convenience that the store is open until xxxx time. They might be better served ensuring that the staple products are actually on the shelves prior to making it into a bazaar. I only ship.here for quick necessities now. What a shame.

Definitely not what it was. Mainly shopped there for the quality of the meat department which include the knowledge and personal service. Now it's going to turn into just another big y with packaged items...not a good idea. Thankfully we live and travel to other Highland Park markets as well as other markets. Very disappointed in these changes and other things we noticed yesterday.

I have been going here for years. I can say that the new owner has been friendly, pleasant and accommodating. All of the items I usually buy are all still there and in the same places. I am very glad that I can still count on my local market and now with an owner we can see and know. Great job.

On very short notice, Mark ,at the deli , prepared a perfect sandwich tray for us . Across the aisle, at the bakery, a lovely selection of deserts was cut bite size and presented beautifully.Thank you.

Check expiration dates on anything before you purchase!!! Beware of old salads at deli & old meat at butcher section! We only go here out of convenience. Wish they would close their doors & a Whole Foods was here instead. Quality has really dropped over the years & prices are sky high. Be sure to hold onto your receipt if you buy any of their prepared foods because they can be very disappointing.

They have a real butcher shop. You can pick your cut of meat. A little pricey but worth it. They have there own bakery. Everything is awesome. I go there quite often. It's worth the short drive from Agawam.

This place has super grinders and highly recommended. Something is suspicious about their prepared food. Sometimes my associate throws it in the trash because it is bad. I say they take the older food, instead of dumping it, they make pre-packed dinners.

I would have given them 5 stars since their meats and desserts are awesome, but the deli guy missed putting mayo on my husband's sandwich which made it inedible for him since it was too dry. My turkey club on a roll unexpectedly came out as a flattened panni, but it was good!

I'm officially done ordering pizza there. Extreamly disappointed that the Broccoli on the pizza had bugs on it. This was months after and ordering again.. No one there seemed to care or offer a refund. I didn't even want a refund i was more like HELLO THERES BUGS ON MY PIZZA! Maybe you should take better care? Could only imagine them not washing other items as well. Very unfortunate because the pizza is very tasty. ...

I'm a former employee who worked for one week gave them my all and they never gave me my punch in numbers then they let me go for missing a punch how do you punch a clock when you don't get numbers to punch in and then when I asked to get paid they said they were not paying me, that is not fair, this is not a place I would recommend to shop or work. There are mold issues and bugs in the produce in there. When i brought it to the attention of a supervisor is when i was let go . I feel it is not a healthy atmosphere . I also feel i should have been paid for my time working not having a punch in number was not my fault .
