Hilltop Creamery has the best-tasting ice cream in Connecticut. There, I said it. The ice cream has a smooth texture and delicious flavor. The ladies behind the counter were all smiles. Sit at the picnic table and stare off into the Massachusett hills. You don't need to fly abroad for a vacation. Save your money; come to Hilltop for a cup or cone, and relax.

Visited with the family. We were immediately greeted by smiling faces. The two people working the counter were very friendly and patient allowing us to try a few flavors. Milky Way was excellent as well as coffee. 1 scoop was plenty for me. Very clean with numerous options. The view outside alone was worth the visit. To top it off they had live music and corn hole by the picnic tables. Will definitely be back.

We were on a hunt for the best hard serve, true New England style vanilla ice cream for our wedding. We sampled 4 different ones that day, and Hilltop won for the best. (They have been great to work with also when we inquired about bulk orders and about a dairy-free option as well)

We visited the new Creamery for the first time today. Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. This location is so scenic and peaceful. The picnic tables among the grove of large trees shielded us from the 85º temps, plus there was a nice breeze. We'll be coming back soon. This could become our new, go-to ice cream shop! Note: their sign is not up yet so when you're facing the big barn, the shop is at the right front corner.

Usually I won't rate a restaurant/ice cream parlor on my first visit, but today I have to make an exception.This is not just excellent ice cream, but it is situated at a National Historic Landmark, Hilltop Farm. It's a great spot for families with lots of picnic tables, games and a jump house. Kids will love it.The only negative I will mention is that there is no inside seating, so plan accordingly.

We stopped by after a trip to Six Flags and it was the perfect way to cool down after a hot day. I got the Maine Bear ice cream flavor and it was delicious! Staff was very friendly.
