We have used Sterling Pet Lodge to board and clean our dog several times now. Everyone there has been fantastic, always accommodating, our dog always comes home clean and happy and gets to even roam around in the play yard. The little doggy scarfs are a great personal touch! We have used another facility in the past that is well rated and they never gave the personalized treatment that these wonderful ladies give! We will be back again and again no doubt!

Please do not board your dogs here!!!! They are absolutely horrible!! Brought my 2 dogs for daycare for the day to try it out before we decided to board them and Donna was calling me 20 minutes later saying one of my dogs was vicious and wanted to attack her. Neither of my dogs have ever growled at anyone and have been boarded elsewhere and were fine! I turn around and came back and she started saying some horrible things about my dog and myself. Then to top it off my dog has a bad red mark on the interior of her ear that was not there before! This is probably why they are so cheap!!!

A few years ago my husband and I came to see your kennel . We were looking for a nice place to board our dogs while going on vacation. We never were able to go together because we did not want to leave our dogs in a kennel since our dogs were used to sleeping in bed with us, and they were also rescued and we didn't want bad memories of being alone and unwanted. While showing us around we noticed the cages and areas appeared very dungy looking, it reminded me of the Humane Society or City Animal Control., There were a couple of dogs barking and she said, " Oh those are those poodles" with a derogatory voice. I didn't have poodles but I love all dogs, all kinds and I didn't like the attitude she had about paying customers dogs. She was a bit cold in personality, but the vibes I got there, I actually cried when we left. I told my husband that I could not ever leave my dogs there and he agreed. I happen to come across a comment the owner made on Facebook and I felt the need to give my review, even if it was a few years ago

This place was referred by a friend who knows the family personally. I Went on holiday and needed a place to lodge my American Bulldog Tank for a full week. I'll be honest if I had read these reviews I may have second guessed my choice, however I'm glad I didnt. Anyone who has a bully breed knows sometimes it can be difficult to find a nice kennel that will even take them, and Sterling had no problems with watching him for me. I did this over the 2017 Christmas season when temperatures were very chilly. When I arrived to pick Tank up, he was clean and very happy to see me, and warm to the touch so I know he wasn't uncomfortable during his stay. He has a very thin coat where you can pretty much see his actual skin through it, and i found no bruising or any of the other neglect that is mentioned in earlier reviews. While this kennel is a little bit of a drive for me (40min), if I am unable to find a closer kennel, i will not hesitate to use this place again. Thank you for taking care of my boy!

I brought my dogs there yesterday (4/8/18) for a bath and nail trim. My husband picked up my boys and my rottie didn't have his nails done because the groomer said he growled. My husband suggested he hold him while she trimmed. She was able to get two nails done but he growled again at the third and the groomer ended up trimming too short which made him bleed. The problem i have with this is that my other dog, which the same groomer worked on and said was wonderful, was bleeding as well. She didn't even know he was bleeding. So now, my dogs get in the back of my SUV and bleed all over the car. And not just a little. My car looked like a murder scene. I have pics of all of it. I was told that I could use hydrogen peroxide to get it out and that "I'm sure you understand that with black nails these things can happen." Are you kidding me??? If she was afraid of my rottie I would understand because he's big and rotties have a bad reputation. However, this was my lab that she had already stated was "wonderful". Beyond disgusted with the response i have gotten. All I want is my car cleaned (I just had it fully detailed a couple weeks ago) because my boys are thankfully ok. It's a shame too because I used to recommend them to people looking for boarding or grooming. I'll never go back here and I'll be sure to tell EVERYONE I know to stay far far away. I left a bad review on their fb page and the response was that my dogs were untrained and at "such an unhealthy weight", and my husband is rude and bullied the other lady into cutting the rottie's nails, and that we are irresponsible pet owners! Other reviews I've read say the same thing, that they like to bait and switch to take the responsibility off of them. Disgusting...

Sterling Pet Lodge has taken care of 4 generations of dogs for our family. They have taken great care of them and when needed given them extra special care while we were away. We have them bathed and they come home with adorable handkerchiefs!

Took my little shitzu there for groom told owner he was hard to groom if she had ANY problems to call me told her he might bite if she pushed it so best to call and I’d come get him try another time She said she knew how to deal with “ dogs like that” i stressed not to provoke him if he really resisted She called me 10 minutes after I left all angry come get your dog! I get there my poor little shitzu is shaking so bad in a corner I can’t believe it terrified AND bleeding from the mouth Poor little thing had TWO holes in his tongue she wouldn’t explain what she did to him just kept yelling he was “crazy” “you’re lucky I don’t call the pound” On and on! I was furious and still am reported that witch for abusing my dog! If that’s how she handles them she shouldn’t be anywhere near dogs

My dog came home with conjunctivitis due to sitting in her own waste for a week. It cost nearly 400 dollars in vet bills. This place should be investigated. If you care about your animal stay far away from here.

I was appalled by the personal treatment I received here. I was 45 minutes early (arrived at 8:15 am—not knowing their time policies) and was given a rude and cruel ultimatum by the owner on her front porch (when the dogs started barking and apparently woke her up). I never ended up leaving my dog in their “care” as a result. The level of unprofessionalism was disturbing and I won’t return.

Please take time to read our Facebook page and by the way several of these reviews are fake as they are not in our computer customer base at all❗️Make an educated decision come visit us mention a bad review for new customers and get a free night❗️While we are not perfect we try hard but cannot make everyone happy all of the time! For the few problems in 15 years we have thousands of successful transactions that never make this page! For a contract of several thousands of dollars a year Google has offered to make these reviews go away I have opted to pay for this service wonder if a few more mystery reviews are going to appear just sayin 🤔

Horrible treatment of my dogs. Picked them up and my little one was sitting in a pool of wash water. She could not stand up and was just left there til I was able to pick her up. How could you?
