It's rare for me to give five stars to an aquarium store... That said, oh. my. God. This place is amazing! The staff is SO HELPFUL!!!! If you want a pond, go here. If you want small rodentia, like guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. go here! If you want Koi... Sweet baby cheezits, GO HERE!!! It was easily a hundred in the sun, and The very helpful lady stayed with me, answering my questions. She recommended AGAINST purchasing certain things, instead of trying to get money out of me. I know WAY more than I let on, and she was honest and truthful, never lied to me once to make a sale. I'll be returning to make my pond! Gander at their beautiful fish stock! Sadly, I didn't get pictures of their VERY HEALTHY koi. Pictures are very limited, I snapped them on the way out. LOVE THE AROWANA!!!

This place was the most wonderful pet store I have been to in ages. The guys behind the counter were friendly and knowledgeable. Every tank was beautiful, the fish active and healthy. They have a small section of rodents and reptiles, both known to have a certain natural odor, but there was almost no smell. Just sweet curious faces who want to go home with you. (It was very tempting, the rats were darling). It's a very well stocked place, and I will absolutely be back.

What a great place for some unique and exciting creatures! The tanks are really well kept, and the staff was extremely helpful! Zeke was very knowledgeable.The atmosphere was really neat and I loved checking out all the salt water fish they had.

The owner greeted me as I came in the store and I noticed just how personable he was and willing to get someone to help me immediately. I had said I wanted a 10 gallon setup told him the price I was looking to spend and he not only got me the setup but he helped me select the right fish for the tank and my enjoyment. I found all the stuff to be very knowledgeable and there's a supply at demand for almost any of your fish needs. They also carry small animals, with and without fur and they do have all the supplies for those animals as well. I love this store and I will definitely be coming back regularly.

I went to this store for the first time today and must say i love this place! My father and i are petstore snobs and have gone to most aquatic pet stores in the ct amd mass region amd i must say the selection is fantastic very clean store and very friendly staff we cant complain :)

Absolutely everyone is so nice and helpful. They are informative. They have everything you need to build an outside pond to a small fish tank. The prices are comparable to online ordering. It's always better to go in and touch the product and walk away with what you need. I'm going back soon to add koi and plants to my outdoor waterfall/pond that I just finished making.

First time visitor today had an emergency with my pond Steve the owner took the time to show me teach me and sell me the product I needed save my fish in my pond !! we will definitely recommend and do business in the future with this gentleman and his business !!!Looking forward to Jeff coming out to the house .

In from well out of town when discovered a pond issue with goldfish at senior facility my mom is resident at. After phone call and then help from Jeff when arrived there, my mom’s place now has a happy school of fish.Impressive selection of other fish there and pond plants wish I could take back on a plane!

Diversity of size and species, hard to find stuff, appropriate pricing, perfectly maintained tanks, knowledgeable staff, fish are all in great shape and appropriately grouped/segregated - this place is the real deal!!

Yesterday was the first time id been to this store (4/30/23) I was truly impressed with this fish store!!!! Their fish looked so healthy, i seen zero signs of distress /illness or parasites!!! No flashing, no darting, no gasping for air at the surface (called piping). No ulcers, no ick. Honestly this place is the best fish store ive EVER been to. Most people who arent really into fish or are new to the hobby wouldn't notice some of these signs to look out for, but I definitely do and seen ZERO reasons for any concerns!!!They had a plant I'd only seen online (Crinum Calamistratum) it was big and healthy, so that came home with us! They also had a somewhat hard to find fish that my wife had been wanting, a hillstream loach. Which also had to come home with us and the cutest baby pygmy cory, my only regret is I should have bought more, they are adorable little fish. They also have beautiful koi outside for sale and pond plants. We will definitely be back for more tropical fish/plants and also for koi and pond items. We still have room in our pond so we will be looking for those few special koi that we MUST have lol. This store was definitely worth the long drive!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fish store!!!!!!!

Just moved to CT and my sister took me here to setup my new tanks and I was so happy with the selection! The plants looked so nice and healthy, and everyone was super helpful with all our crazy questions. I will for sure be back for more plants!

For a small, old-school shop, you’d be blown away with just how much variety of freshwater fish these folks have in stock. The prices are a tad high, but you also get a very high quality, healthy fish, and I have yet to lose a single fish that came from their store, unlike a few others in the area. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to lend a hand with questions you may have. I’ve had great luck with every fish I purchased from them, and they definitely have my business in the future!

Absolutely Amazing!We totally got lost on the way down but once we got there I loved it so so much! It was quite the drive for us and we weren’t let down, they were so nice even though we got there right before closing.Such an amazing selection of fish and animals, and all high quality! We got an amazing goldfish and she’s so gorgeous. No imperfections and fits in with the rest of my group. We might make it our weekly visit that’s how amazing it was. It was my heaven!

Yes, you'll probably pay more than at the big box pet store but you won't get sick fish that contaminate your tank and kill your other aquatic friends. Plus, you can talk to people who know what they're taking about.Highly recommend this shop.

This is not just a store!!! It's more like a little aquarium. Honestly I didn't want to leave. They carry both freshwater and saltwater fish along with live coral, plants and accessories. If you are looking for an exotic fish this is the place!!!

As a 1st time fish parent, I really had no idea how to properly care for the poor carnival goldfish my 10 year old "surprised" me with. I thought I was doing everything right...until he got sick. A friend recommended this place and it was well worth the drive. I called 1st and they took their time with me on the phone and were very understanding and supportive as I was near hysterics. I ran over there and they tested my water, intently watched the videos and pictures I had taken of my sick fish and brainstormed between each other as to what the problem was. When I left, I had medicine and a full set of instructions for the next 7 days. Would I have gotten that kind of service at Petco?? I don't think so. Would my fish have survived the bacterial infection?..probably not. These people REALLY care about fish and are not just out to sell you something. I can't thank them enough.

Stopped in a week or so ago while in the area for new Betta tank decorations. Friendly staff didn't rush me or upsell me. The selection of rocks, logs, and other hide outs was the largest I've seen. Def check this place out before going to a chain.

My best friend and I have been regulars here since March of last year. They've been nothing but knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone there is so helpful and they always keep the best interest for the animals they sell in mind. Every single fish, reptile and small animal they have looks extremely healthy and ready for a home.
