Store was in great shape very organized and clean. Greeted by two people upon entering, one especially assuring us of help if needed, but the music in the store was much higher than needed for a shopping experience. Otherwise the store is a great stop for affordable items.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. They have just about everything you need to survive on. I just wish they had more meats. Then this would be a great place to shop and not to mention the prices are great in most cases.Quite frankly I love this place.The Dollar General store in the best little town in Connecticut. "PROSPECT"

The (who I thought was) manager, Karli was extremely helpful with helping me find the items I was looking for. Her customer service is outstanding as well as runs a tight ship with the employees while in charge. She is a valuable asset to the company and I think you should really consider her as store manager at this location.

Absolutely love going here for almost everything at a great price with great deals. But I have two concerns:1. During the height of the pandemic they were spot on with cleaning carriages & making sure everyone wore masks & kept people socially distanced.What I’ve noticed over time - the signs for ready to use & not ready (not disinfected) carriages are gone. Which tells me, they’re not being disinfected. Nor are there wipes that I have see to disinfect your carriage (which should be done by the store). Very concerning.2. Your isles are cluttered with stock (in carriages)that needs to be out on the shelves. Why isn’t this done after you close? You can barely maneuver your dirty carriage around. Over stocked inventory is located all over the store - not in the labeled isles. You need to organize the store & declutter your isles as well.Otherwise - always my first stop before grocery store & I do not need to go to Walmart anymore since you’ve opened.

I take my mother in law here all the time. She always finds what she needs. Everybody that works here are very helpful and kind. This means a lot to her and me on her behalf. She has trouble seeing and hearing but at 82 shes loves gardening. We have to bring back stuff pretty often for obvious reasons and there is never a problem.

This isn't a bad place to grab a few things that you need. While I prefer Olivers to shop for groceries in town, I think this is perfect for odds and ends. I was worried about it when it came into our small town, but it has been very convenient. It's open much later than Oliver's and other things in town.

Do not have your Fedex packages sent here, as the store will refuse them and send packages back without notifying the person receiving them.It is listed as a Fedex drop off location but they refused three small packages, and then the delivery address was changed without my knowledge, which cost my business money due to them sending them back to the sender and out to a completely different state, causing an inexcusable delay.You should not be listed as a Fedex parcel drop off location if you do not have space for more than a couple of small parcels.

So far, I love this Dollar General. Associates were nice to me & my family. They were stocking shelves when we came in & their dollar section is huge compared to other locations.

Clean store with good prices. Not a lot to choose from in the area, great franchise placement. Perfect for quick stops for basic needs, paper towels, toiletries, general groceries.

Wow. 1st time in this store and the staff were SO nice. Especially James who made it a point to ask if we needed help and introduce himself and welcome us to the store. They have a little bit of everything.

Like Dollar General? Well this is the one to come too. Although generally speaking, all have the same products on shelf but, this one has everything. I can't lie a few more cents to pay on some items but with a definite delight. You can't go wrong.

Best dollar general around. The guy who was my cashier was very friendly and helped with whatever i had to find. Great location and clean store. Everything was neat and not a mess like some dollar generals ive been to.

Theres a lady that works there can’t figure out how to use a register and is extremely rude. She reeks of smoke and has no idea what is going on. The young associate working alongside her had to help her do basic things like open the register and scan products. Even so, her attitude is the worst part about her and this location.

Good store, very nice selection. One of the few places where you can buy Edy's Slow Churned Light ice cream. Very competitive prices!

Their name should be MULTI DOLLAR GENERAL. Very expensive cheap junk, I purchased nothing and walked out, after seeing their prices. Nobody told them it was a dollar store! I will never go back,there ever again.

I have only shopped at Dollar General, a few times but i find it a good store..they have a lot, for kind of a small store..it's good for when you need just a couple items..people who work there, seem to be friendly and helpful..their prices aren't bad either..

Conveniently located, but god forbid if you have an issue like I did they tell you to contact corporate. When you email corporate, no one responds. Spend your money at a more deserving local business.

They have a wide variety of stuff, but its not cheaper than most dollar stores or Wal-mart. Also, the cashier might make you wait, as he did me & after a lady in front of me debated a price for something.
