Habitat for Humanity ReStore often reflect the community it serves and exists in. Depending on the ReStore, you may be able to find strong volumes of a particular category of home improvement product. At this ReStore was an impressive selection of power tools, moulding, and half globe light fixtures. There were plenty of parking spaces available, and the building was big enough to have time to peruse, to explore, or quickly walk through. Habitat For Humanity is such a wonderful organization because of the work they do for all in the community. I always recommend coming to one of these stores, just to look around!

When I’m not working I travel from RI to get my goods. Jackie you your ideas and your help have furnished my office yard patio, etc I can’t thank you enough. I love the restore but I don't always agree with the prices. Doesn't always seem fair to charge a premium price for a 2nd life item. To be fair some items are underpriced. Overall it's a nice place just bring extra in case you find something you love.

Visiting this store is a must. You never know what you'll find from new things to old all great priced. The staff there is AMAZING 👏 Jackie & the crew never fail you. They always go pass what seems like the normal expectation. From fantastic advice to great guidance. You leave there feeling like you might owe them 😂. To the person that hand picked this team you did GREAT!! We look forward to Jackie and the staff as much as the hidden treasures.

I went to the Plainfield CT Habitat for Humanity on Friday June 30 and the clerk told me that the whole store would be half price the following day July 1st so of course I said well I will be back first thing in the morning. I was one of the first customers there to get a Weed Wacker and a Black and Decker drill that were on the floor the night before ( they had 20 drills and approximately 25 weed wackers).Well I made a trip for nothing, they took the weed Wackers and drills off the floor! I believe that was a pretty bad thing to do. Draw the people in but not leave the items out, false advertising if you want my opinion.

So very disappointed in my experience at the Plainfield store! They were advertising a 50% off sale! I was so excited that I could finally afford a weed Wacker. Well needless to say the products were all gone by the morning. First one is the door! Products all gone! Zero respect for the organization. I worked for Killingly for 30 years and we would never pull that kind of blatant misrepresentation! So wrong!Issuppose to not only take from the community but give ti those in a tight budget.

Love this place for at home projects. Furniture is great price. Would recommend this place is you are doing a project. Staff is friendly and the cashier is “my girl” she’s polite and friendly. I call this store “my Walmart” 😊

A great facility with a continuous and changing selection of donated furniture and home project supplies. A wonderful resource for items in found in the big hardware stores but at a much better price. Plus the proceeds go to a charity that builds or rehabs homes in our community for those less fortunate. I make a point to stop in on occasion to see what they have.

A clean, neat store selling some new but mostly used home items for repurposing and repair projects. Friendly, helpful staff always kind and courteous. They currently have new 1x4' LED flat panel lights.

Prices for some of the furniture is a tad high for being used. They do get some nice stuff. I recently bought a 42 inch flat screen for 45.00. Its a great tv. I gave it a 3 because they're a restore trying to raise funds for houses etc..however some over pricing of furniture that isn't in the proper condition for prices being set makes it hard to buy used. If they priced more decently they'd raise more in the long run. Its worth checking out.

The walk-thru we did was neat. Many dining tables and chairs, China closets, a few couches and recliners, etc. Pricing seemed very reasonable and most items looked to be in fairly good condition. I found a cool bamboo laptop platform and some cute salad "hands" made of wood. The cashier was very sweet and helpful as I had a question about a piece I wanted to donate. NOTE: they will NOT take entertainment centers; even a very atypical one which could accommodate any size TV/stereo system. I found that interesting.

Make sure you know your prices before you go some things are over priced but lots of things are a great value! The products available change daily so you never know what you will find.

I find there prices very high for the free stuff they get. I also found out that Bob's furniture donates brand new furniture to them.To be honest I recently asked them if they help out people that were burnt out of their houses and need new furniture because of smoke damage or because it was burned in a fire and they said they don't do vouchers, they don't donate, they don't help anybody with anything free to help them replace anything that they have lost in the fire. So the only good thing I found is after they've had products on their floor for so long ,they put furniture into a little shed in the back of their store and it's free, Now, that's a good price!!!

Great place for gently used and even new old stock. Some stores are larger than other's, like the Waterford, CT store. This is the larger store.

We found a dresser that we purchased...but the kids who brought it out to the truck turned it so all the drawers fell out onto the cement in the parking lot. Didn’t even apologize. Now we have a drawer that has a big ding in it, another that has a corner bent, and there are multiple scratches across the faces and handles of the others. Didn’t need any work when we bought it, and now I’m gonna have to fix it. Worst $50 spent. Will never go back.

I waited at the register for 5mins before someone found the cashier Judy outside chatting. I got home and my husband told me it was the wrong product. Went back less then an hour later to return the unopened product. When I arrived it was the same cashier Judy. She said she could only give me store credit even though I literally just brought it, I live over an hour away, and need nothing in the store. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I have never meet a manager so rude and unprofessional.

Staff unwilling to negotiate on a price. There was an item due to be discounted in 2days and even though we told her we would be unable to come back in 2days and would take it that day she would not consider it. We try to go about once a month and have never had a good experience with this woman and sadly probably will not be going back...

This place is wonderful! I recently had to relocate from FL back to CT on an emergency time frame. I had nothing. I totally furnished my apartment for a very reasonable amount of money. They are a lifesaver.
