On 10 Jan 24, I obtained 16 capsules of cephazolin after my husband's total knee replacement. On 14 Jan 24, he had only 1 capsule left which seemed inadequate in number. I looked at the info from the the hospital and read that the doctor prescribed 168 capsules. Apparently the CVS Plainfield pharmacist only read the first two digits of the prescribed amount. In addition to providing sole care for my husband, I had to take the time to call Plainfield CVS, bring their attention to this error, and make a return trip, taking another hour of time to drive back to CVS and stand in another long line before obtaining my spouse's correct amount of medication. No staff member never apologized or never even smiled. We have 2 insurances and it is very common for the Plainfield staff to forget to bill our secondary insurer, requiring us to stand there while they reprocess the prescriptions. On 1 occasion, my husband paid what the pharmacy asked and brought the prescription out to the car where I was waiting. When I saw that our secondary insurance had yet again was not billed, I went inside, stood in an interminable line, and had to wait some more to get the claim reprocessed and a refund on the over billed amount. The CVS Plainfield store is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Some of the staff are incompetant, most are indifferent with a few being downright rude. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. My insurance plan requires me to use CVS but I plan to transfer my prescriptions to another CVS, even though it will mean a longer commute. STAY AWAY!!!

Pharmacy as poor costumer service (not all but most) go in to consultation to discuss insurance as I was told from drive through, woman with long blonde hair barely said anything to me. Asked about one of my medications was only told “it’s on hold” nothing else. After 15 minutes the woman just tells me to go to pick up line it’s ready. I go to the line give my information again ask about my medication told it’s on hold and when I inquire why he tells me I have to go to consultation line, I said I was just there and asked and got no response besides it’s on hold. Tells me after THEY do not have it. Overall it was a poor experience. They need better costumer service.

Absolutely horrible. Horrible service, has given the wrong dose of my medication multiple times, and does not communicate well with providers. If you want your medication in a timely manner and correct, find somewhere else.

Their customer service is outstanding. Jeff, one of their lead customer service representatives, is always kind and helpful. I am always impressed by their friendliness. You cannot beat their coupons, either.

The best pharmacy staff in all C.T. CVS location's I come to Plainfield store when I live very close to the Brooklyn store , do to the errors from Brooklyn CVS , and near having enough of the meds you need , and a very very hard time getting the pain meds that I've been on for more than 30 yrs. They always say its a day to soon when my Dr sees me every month on the due date knowing that i cant run out of my meds and they go against my Dr's orders all the time, likely Dr says what ever she puts on my hard copy they need to listen she's the Dr and they just fill the orders , the Brooklyn store is a jok5.
