This store blew my mind when I walked in for the first time. It has so much for pet care! I went in to the store to consult the aquatics manager, Melanie. She has been caring for a salt water tank in my Chiropractors office and I wanted to purchase an entire cichlid tank, fish, and environment for them from her because she is so knowledgeable. While she was able to tell me everything I needed to know about the care and maintenance of my future tank, she was apologetic about not having the Cichlid inventory I wanted and everything I needed for my setup. I keep going back to Melanie for advice and supplies because I don’t trust anyone else but if this store doesn’t address their fish supply issues I will have to shop elsewhere. As a member of this store, that would be a great disappointment.

This store is such a delight! When I have free time, I like to stroll through the shop looking at all the animals. My favorite is the little reptile room. One of the things their Membership offers is a bit of time playing with a puppy. As a mom of young children (who doesn't want a dog!) I can't even explain how wonderful this is. My children receive play time with a puppy and I don't feel guilty for not buying the puppy nor taking up the staff's time for "browsing". The staff are always friendly and helpful. Definitely worth stopping by.

I've been a member of the R Club at this store since moving to town 5 years ago (cats/dogs/birds/reptiles). We recently got into the aquarium hobby and the aquatic department head Melanie has been amazing helping us get set up and running, providing great advice and guidance to help keep our swimming friends in tip top condition even if she has nothing to sell us (or caution us that patience is key instead of hard selling useless chemical quick fixes). Having a local fish store with such expertise is amazing, but I usually end up driving to Vernon for livestock as they seem to have issues getting fish in stock (even after customer requests). I would love to support my truly local store, but I find myself driving 4x the distance so I don't have to buy from the big box stores when I need something. I always check here first, but I'm usually forced to make the trip. This would be a five star review (and I'd happily shop here) if they could get their supply chain issues resolved.

I manage a local chiropractic office in Mansfield Center. Melanie has been helping us to set up a 40 gallon salt water tank for a few months now and it’s looking beautiful! The tank is crystal clear, our little clown fish are thriving and even laid eggs. We have been patiently waiting for new additions to our fishy friends but there seems to be a supply chain issue that is holding the process up. Melanie has been fantastic and has even come to our office when we were at our wits end with algal blooms. I cannot speak highly enough of Melanie’s customer service and her loyalty to her store. We would love to continue our business with this store as Melanie is one of the few people we trust in the business, but our 40 G tank is so empty that we may need to consider taking our business elsewhere if nothing changes soon.

I had the pleasure of stopping at the brandford location, and I’ve been following there Instagram for quite awhile, wanted to check out the puppies, I walked in and was greeted, the people there were very kind and helpful. I currently have 2 cavaliers and there was a puppy avaliable that I saw on there Instagram, I didn’t have the funds at the moment and I did let the staff know I couldent purchase but they still wanted to let me see the puppy!! but I kid u not the atmosphere!!was so inviting and just makes u not wana leave with out a friend! And the way these puppies are well kept is amazing!!! I spoke to Emma one of the workers and she was so kind and helpful and i absolutely loved being able to play with one of the King Charles pups. He was healthy happy and DIDNT HAVE THE TYPICAL PUPPY BAD SMELL!! It immediately brightened my day and I will definitely be back to purchase one of these beautiful healthy puppies!! If u want to find a furever friend who healthy and happy save up and RUNNN to any of there locations!!! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!

I know I seems a bit extreme to leave a 5 star review but I find myself coming here more and more frequently mainly because of the current staff. They are always willing to drop what they are doing to help you out and not only that but you can tell right away from talking to them that they are genuine animal lovers. This store deserves so much more attention now than they currently do because of past employees. For reference I went to the Wallingford location (bigger store with more animals) but the customer service over there doesn’t even come close to these guys, I will be leaving a review on my experience over there as well. But these guys always put animals first, very compassionate and they give excellent care tips for pets, the Manager there definitely helped me through the process of getting my ball Python to eat for the first time after getting him from another store, and he gave me good care advice that gave me more confidence in caring for me pet. I definitely recommend this place 100 times over so long as they keep the current staff. And I hope upper management takes notice in how great these people are because it’s hard to find people who love all their pets regardless of it’s species and I hope they start supplying them with more reptiles and more animals in general. I can’t stress how great these people are they aren’t just trying blindly sell you a pet either, they will give you all the information you need to properly care for it and, as I said before, give you the confidence to be an animal parent so to speak.

I haven't stopped in this location in a while, but was driving by so we pulled in. It smells horrendous, like the air itself is saturated in dirty puppy feces. Many of the animals don't have water provided (including 4 tiny puppies that are out in a small kennel in the back).The rabbits had minimal shavings/bedding in their enclosures as well as minimal food, some also lacking water all together. One of the large rabbit enclosures, which is a large glass octagonal tank with no top, has hardened stuff on the bottom around the edges, indicative of dirty shavings having been allowed to build and harden, which could be (and should be) removed with a paint scraper. These animals, at the very least, deserve clean enclosures and food during their time there.Items are still over-priced in comparison to several other pet supply chains and other franchises.As far as the staff, the girl at the register didn't not greet us, we rather greeted her and began conversating with her. Same for when we left, we told her to have a good day on our way out. She didn't thank us for stopping in, never asked if we needed help with anything, nor said "have a good day" on our way out.I literally have no reason to return to this store for anything, nor can I recommend this store. There are too many stores around that offer the same, but with well cared for animals and nice staff.

My Girl and I were going to put down our Boxerpit, shes very stressed and has bitten 9 of us. She was quarantined for 10 days by animal control and was very unmanageable. Our last-ditch efforts were expressed to the staff working in the store and we were recommended try the CBD oil we can literally make a television commercial supporting this stuff! We referred probably a dozen other people with vicious and highly stressed dogs to give this oil a try for one month. I was number one on the dogs menu because she wanted to eat me! And now she tries to sleep on the bed with me and my girl every night she's gone up to a handful of people now and she's very calm just wanted to say thank you this place staff has always been cool to us we've never had any negative issues.

Hi! I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for my visit.. We bought a puppy over the past weekend (3/28-29/21) at the North Wyndham location, and my husband and I would like to say how impressed we were with the two guys that helped us get puppy. They were very helpful and informative. They had a great attitude even though they were pretty busy when we came. We just wanted to give a shout out and thanks for helping us get our new furry friend! (Who is awesome btw)

I don't usually give out 5 stars but the North Windham store deserves it. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice variety of products between dogs, cats, fish, birds, lizards, and other animals.I'd say the best part of it all is the puppies they have in store. $5 for 15 minutes of play time which can be used for two puppies if you manage well.If you have the R Club, not only do you save on products but puppy play time becomes free. And in the end, the R Club is definitely worth it because I mainly go there just for treats and already saved more than $25.Also, $5 for 15 minutes of puppy therapy (for people that love animals in general) is worth it when you had a rough day or even a rough week.

My family and I visit the Windham store often . Everyone there greets us and recognizes us as returning customers. Drew is very helpful and knowledgeable he is always willing to help. He helped us pick out a fern for our betta's fish bowl on our visit just the other day. This store is clutter free and clean. The animals look happy and healthy. Great job everyone at Windham All Pets Club see you soon ,sincerely Tom & Jen.

My Fiancee and I have now bought 2 guinea pigs and a rabbit from this store. Our animals were very well kept and fed, and the workers here (specifically Martha) was extremely friendly and willing to help. Their knowledge is fantastic and we will definitely be back. Would definitely advise to take advantage of the membership, the savings are totally worth it. All in all, fantastic individually-owned pet store with a calm and inviting environment. Thanks again!

For almost 20 years I have been a customer of All Pets Club. I am very happy to no longer be a "reluctant" customer due to lack of other options close to my home. I am impressed to see so many improvements. The staff is attentive and helpful. No longer do I see dead fish in tanks, or rodent cages that have no food, empty bottles, too many in a cage, and occasionally a dead one being trampled on by its cage mates. I am thrilled that the animals that are in this store are being treated humanely.

This is the first time I’ve ever left a review. This has been a difficult week for our family. We went to this store to look at puppies and immediately fell in love with a puggle. Everyone in the store was so nice and accommodating. It was an amazing experience and we feel so lucky to have found this place. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Every employee was super helpful and treated us with pure kindness and the passion the employees had for these animals was incredible.

Staff looked bored all at the front desk but they were very knowledgeable and kind. The store was clean and well organized. Since I was in for a client looking for a brand I didn't know about it was nice of them to take me directly to the food I was looking for!

This place is underrated! I frequently visit just to shop and see animals/products. This morning I had come here to start a danio/tetra tank set up and the employees were super helpful. The whole time very respectful, offered assistance without being pushy, and were knowledgeable about a lot of the products. When I was going to buy fish the helped advise me on how to properly cycle the tank and what would work best for plants, substrate, etc. The membership is also great, you can save a lot of money, get a great selection of product that would normally be unavailable in chain pet stores, and have a great selection.Overall there is a large selection for all pet owner need, the staff is respectful smart and patient, and the value with a membership is exceptional, thank you so much!!

The manager was excellent on my refund.I had bought a pet rat that died within 2 days of having him. Overcrowded rat tank that isn't clean and there was no food in the food bowls.One of staff members assured me he was not sick and died 2 days later. Do NOT get your rats here!!!!

This place is awesome! Tyler and his team are always super friendly and make sure each customer is taken care of. Every experience I’ve had has been 10/10. The store is very clean and the newly revamped reptile room is AMAZING it feels like you’re in the middle of a jungle, kids especially would love it! I Highly recommend you stop by and check them out

I have been a customer now here for a long time and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I recently bought a baby chameleon from here a few months ago and he is growing healthy and thriving and they gave me a great price for him the set up and everything he needed. The manager explained to us how to care for him and when we go a few times a week for his food he ask how the chameleon is and if everything is well with him. I highly recommend this place to everyone I wouldn’t go anywhere else

So I visited all pets club in north Windham yesterday just to love on some puppies. No intention of buying because let’s face it stores that sell puppies have a bad rap sheet. but I was with my kiddo and my husband and we saw two puppies. the first puppy I guess was very new to the store and she didn’t really want anything to do with us. A little beagle. Still super cute and looked healthy. So next I asked the girl which puppy was super affectionate. they point to this little black fluff ball named “ jimmy” who was an 12 week Lhasa apso. he was super sweet and interacted with us and my kiddo. so we decided to give the financing a shot. ( fully expecting to be denied or have to down payment ) and then leaving with no puppy. but the girl helped me through filling out the financing papers and we were approved! Such an exciting moment! we took “ jimmy” now renamed Chewy home yesterday with no money down ( crazy right ? ) this little teddy bear is so sweet and mellow! first night home he ate he drank and slept on my husbands feet all night. ( to bring honest we expected chewy to be up a couple times during the night as most puppies do ) but he slept all night and then did his business outside first thing. He’s not a very rambunctious puppy! He’s mellow. Laid back and is just happy to be near me. I took him to the vet earlier today to make sure he was healthy and that I didn’t buy a sick pup. Turns out.. HES PERFECT. no sickness, healthy weight and did so well for his second round of shots ( 3 shots today ). I can’t lie and say I wasn’t worried you hear so many bad stories. the only reason I did not give five stars were due to two minor things. 1. The vet record they came with him was not very clear. The hand writing was sloppy and my vet couldn’t read it. And 2. I don’t think they had a good mix of puppies. I would of loved to see more variety maybe.BUT I am thankful for my chewy and he will live a long happy life surrounded by kiddos who adore him and a dog mom who’s obsessed with him!

If you haven’t been to this store in the last 6 months I would 1000000% recommend giving it a second chance. The owners brought in new employees and management and has completely changed the place around for the better. In the past, I would avoid this place solely for the staff and unwillingness to help. The new manager Tyler and the rest of the crew do a great job and has made it easily one of the best, if not the beat, pet store in the area.

We purchased 2 baby rats here and they died 11 days later. There were red flags when I saw dead gerbils and mice in other tanks. But I thought if I got my rats out of that environment they would be fine. I was told they were old enough to be purchased, but I’m wondering if that was even true because they were so small. There were 15+ babies and rats in that small tank and the parents didn’t look well. My rats seemed fine the first few days but then we noticed they weren’t really pooping much at all. The staff had helped us pick out the food and bedding. The last 2 days of having my rats, the seemed a little strange. I also noticed little white specs on one of them, I stared to see if it was some kind of bug but didn’t see anything moving and thought maybe it was dust or something and they hadn’t been itching and no irritated skin. The last day I noticed the specs were bigger and this time were moving guessing rat lice? Idk where they could have picked that up from other than the store. I kept everything clean and always washed my hands before and after touching them. I’m not really sure what it was that actually killed them. I’m sad I didn’t notice this sooner to take them to a vet, they died shortly after the realization. I held the last one as he was taking his last breaths and it was the most heartbreaking thing knowing I couldn’t do anything. I won’t be buying anything from there again and wish I had read the reviews because it seems they have a lot of deaths and similar reviews. This is a pet mill and the animals aren’t taken care of well enough.

I absolutely love this place! I was on a search for so long for my Boston Terrier, I had met one of the staff members and she assured me to call her manager and they would help me. I called the manager, Marc, he was very thorough, very adhering, he worked really hard and found me my boston! He communicated with me every step of the process, stayed in touch as we waited for my puppy to arrive. He has an excellence for customer service and his store is of utmost quality. Even with my first vet visit, my veterinarian said the breeder did an excellent job, her all shots were all in order and she is in excellent health. I couldn't be any more pleased. I have and will continue to reccomend this spot!

We bought a puppy there a number of years ago and were pretty much dismissed when we told them he had Kennel Cough ! We were told he got it after we left the store.....we live 2 minutes from the store and went straight home, so we asked how the puppy got that very contagious disease in such a short time from purchase to home. They washed their hands of any responsibility whatsoever. Sad...they got their money and dismissed us. They showed absolutely no concern for us or our very expensive puppy. We just wanted them to own up to their lack of care for the health of their puppies. Think twice before you get a dog there. We love our dog but he is FAR from perfect. He’s our precious boy no matter that his start was bad.

For being a manager of a pet store you would think the would be more understanding towards animals and children. My son who is 5yrs old is so in love with his gerbil we bought him a little over 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the gerbil must have passed away in the night. I called the pet shop they told me to come in and speak with manager and we could figure it out. Whelp I brought the dead gerbil into the store as recommend. Let just say the manager attitude and tone was extremely rude. Not even 30 seconds of being in the store and I left in disbelief of how rude someone could be. She was so quick to say I would have to pay for another one and I don't get the special benefits because I'm not a club memeber. I highly recommend if you looking for a hamster for your child, drive the extra mile to Petco and pay the 1.00 more for one. Not worth the heart ache of purchasing gerbils at All Pets Stuff who don't value their customer or emotional feeling of a child loosing their pet.

I have gotten frogbit, duckweed, anubias, and a lot of good advice from this store! the black moor i got from here around 2 weeks ago is very social, and she was in great condition in the tanks of this store. i’ve gotten so much good advice from this store especially with aquatic plants. can’t wait to go back here and spend all my money again 🤣

They carry these little stuffed bananas, filled with catnip. They're sold amongst other little stuffed toys, such as balls, or little mice, etc., in a bin, for around a dollar.Our cats loved the bananas. Not sure why, but apparently the shape just appealed to their little kitty-cat brains.Ours had turned brown and wretched from so much use, so we went back to "All Pets Club" to pick up another one.They were out of stock. We went back a few more times that month, but they were out of stock each time. I asked one of the clerks about them. She responded that the catnip bananas were SO POPULAR that they could NOT keep them stocked.So tonight, on a whim, we went back to the store to see if they had any more catnip bananas. Sure enough, they had quite a few of them in the same bin, next to all the other catnip-stuffed toys.And apparently, the BANANAS were SO popular that they needed to jack up the price to $3.50!The balls, the mice, the rings...all of the other unpopular-shaped catnip toys, are still hovering at around a dollar...BUT NOT THE BANANAS!! OOOHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!Edit: I wrote this review almost a decade and a half ago. It's (as of this writing) showing as being seven months old. I'm clearly over the bananas, now. I'm changing this to a five-star review because you guys have been in business for *ever* and are clearly doing something right, even though I haven't been there since ...probably...2007.

All I have to say is Wow!What a fantastic little Petstore. I had a great experience with the friendly staff and was impressed by the staging of the store and the cleanliness I observed.This is a great place to stop by and enjoy a range of puppies or tropical fish, birds or bunnies. A family friendly environment in little Windham.
