I recently visited the Madison store location to acquire some needed supplies for an upcoming home improvement project. I was greeted and helped by a passionate young man working here named Vinny, he took his time answering every question that my wife and I had thought of regarding paint and other supplies needed for the project. Thanks to Vinny and his guidance we were more than happy with the final result of our kitchen, we plan on coming back here every time we need supplies for the next project!

All the staff here is fantastic. I was looking for a luxury finish for my walls and was dreading having to order it from California or even worse Australia and wait to finish my masterbath remodel. Luckily, it came up on their website IN STOCK! So I ran down on Monday and grabbed the Lime wash for my bathroom. It’s exactly what I was looking for and I feel like I’m going to the spa each time I walk in.Pros: hard to find items in stockCons: expensive but worth not waiting for weeks to complete a project detailI’ll be back!

The store has a good selection of products. From a service standpoint everyone is professional, perhaps to a fault. There are many employees sitting behind desks wearing ties, but relatively few on the floor to answer questions or offer assistance. Sometimes it feels like you’re imposing on the staff if you ask for help. Having a few more people circulating in the store would be appreciated. That’s a common practice in most hardware stores.

Wow. I wish all hardware stores were like this.Well lit, full of product but not cramped, and organized. It felt pleasant to shop here, clean and bright and welcoming. Best of all, the salesman was engaged and helped us find a number of items we needed, cracking jokes while also sharing expertise. I've gotten so used to mediocre help and bad attitude at big box home improvement stores that I had forgotten how nice a professional touch could be.Shop local and enjoy hardware stores again.

Even though I live across the country, Ring’s End was the only place I could buy a particular kind of specialty fireplace paint from Italy. Their customer service over the phone was nothing short of amazing. They were still having trouble getting the item in stock due to the pandemic, but they called me every few weeks to give me updates. When it did finally arrive at their shop, they called me the next day to tell me and I had it in my hands within a few days. This was not a big order, either. It truly was some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.

I attempted to order bifold louvered doors from the one of the counter salespeople. They were going to call me the next day to give me a price. I went in 4 days later since I did not hear back. The same salesperson apologized and was going to follow up that afternoon and give me a call. Another 4 days went by with no response. I stopped by again and the same salesperson was going to follow up right away and call me back. It has now been another two days with no response. I had to place my order elsewhere. My intention was to buy local. I go into the store a few times a week. On the whole I receive good service but this was inexcusable.

Good service and very good lumber. Store is expanding to offer even more building supplies. BTW, Brian was extremely helpful with my 10 questions about PVC trim boards. Try finding someone as knowledgeable and helpful at the big box stores...

The paint department at Ring's End is unrivaled in its knowledge and product selection. I grew up in Madison and was very loyal to tuxis Lumber for many many years. I was afraid when a larger company like Ring's End took over, the business would lose it's local flavor. Couldn't have been more wrong. A good number of the former employees are still here I grew up in Madison and was very loyal to Tuxiss Lumber for many many years. I was afraid when a larger company like Rings end took over the place would lose it's local feeling. I couldn't have been more wrong. A good number of the former employees are still here and it still has the same vibe as before. The difference is the selection and the price are both greatly improved. I can't recommend Ring's End High Enough

My dog Sasha is dying of cancer and I went to Ring's End to figure out a ramp for her to get up the stairs at the front door. They were so kind to me and helped me with it. I will never forget their kindness and generosity. With all that is going on in the world, the people at Ring's End made a world of difference to me and my lovely doggie Sasha. Thank you!!!

Had to replace my roof, Brian McNerney help me with the order he was not only friendly but very knowledgeable with the products I needed to have for my project, the price was amazing for the products I received my brother-in-law who did most of the work because he’s a contractor was very impressed with the quality we received from rings end, I would highly recommend Brian and anyone at rings and for all your needs!!!

The electrical department has many of the usual items but not the huge inventory of Home Depot of Lowe's. The paint department has been very helpful.

Great lumber company but note this is a small yard and more of a paint center. Good for home owners and diy-ers, contractors note they only stock lumber up to 16 lengths at this location

This is a great place to work.. The owners care about their employees and subcontractors.. They suppy high end materials that will make your house or business reliable for years.. The pics are from the yearly party.. They are renting 15 charter boats and prizes.. Trophies.. Good eats.. They really do care.. They can satify all your building needs.. Call them first.. They have done this for the past 5 years.. And a 5 🌟 for sure..🔤😀😀🐟🐡

I went there to get 2 keys made. It took 20 + min. just to do that and ring out when it should have only taken 5 (there was nobody in front of me). Then when I tried to use 1 of the keys it did not work as it was off from the original. I felt very frustrated.
