It was Sunday. You were one of the few places open to do surgery. Staff was knowledgeable and very thoughtful. I waa very impressed with the quality of care. If you weren't so far from my home (80 miles), I'd definitely have you as my primary veterinarian. Marley was bitten by a coyote and had a lactation in his groin area that required stitches. He is recovering well and in no pain. Thank you for your kind, professional care! Professional care and extra mile taken to ensure that Marley was taken care of. Very friendly, attentive and professional staff.

The caring support was greatly appreciated. It's made our loss easier knowing they all truly cared. This the place that truly took the time to actively listen and Dr. K validated my concerns about my pet. will never forget the support I received while making the most difficult decision! Dr.K sat with me and listened, answered all of my questions, and allowed me the time and space. Thank you for allowing me to let my sweet Romi rest in peace with dignity and love. Was hard getting an appointment, all but Madison urgent care were booked. But was still happy to be able to get in. Would not have wanted to wait till Monday. Was able to get an accurate diagnosis and start medication quickly.

I am writing this review while waiting in an exam room with my dog to be taken inside for x-rays. While waiting can be hard, especially when you see your pet uncomfortable, I feel very grateful we were taken at 6:30 pm right before 4 of July!Technician was incredibly kind, Doctor so far has been very communicative and warm with our dog. I will wait here whatever time is necessary because I understand this is an urgent care and they have other patients.Thank you for having us here.

Nurses and doctor were absolutely amazing. My dog is a very anxious one. They were so patient and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much to the doctors that assisted me and my dog! How well my pet was taken care of. 10/10

Emergency Vet visits are usually stressful and anxious situations for everyone - fur babies and fur parents. From the friendly receptionist at check-in, to the nurse, to the doctor - everyone had a smile on their face and that really helped bring a calm atmosphere during my visit yesterday! Great medical care and advice as well, I felt that my little old girl was well taken care of for her emergency. Helpful and caring attitude, decent wait time as well although I did sign up for the waitlist and arrived right at their opening time.

I was sent to the Madison location after the Middletown location said the wait time would be 6-8 hours on a Sunday. It was still super busy (as expected on a weekend) but the staff was so friendly and comforting. Dr. Drake was amazing, very knowledgable, and trustworthy. My dog ended up needing a procedure, and everything turned out great. My dog is already feeling more like herself just 3 days later. Thank you!

First time at this location mid day. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the office and the service. Got lucky I didn’t have to wait long either. The woman working at the front desk was really kind to me as well as the vet & tech. Great place.

I've been here at least 4x for triage type visits for my older pup. Basically as a bridge with antibiotics/pain meds until we can see our regular vet. I've never been treated with anything but kindness, respect and courtesy. Only one time was there a short wait and they sensitive, helpful and intuitive. All of the staff are top notch from the sweet receptionist, vet techs and Drs. For reference it ends up being slightly more expensive than a regular vet visit but definitely less than an emergency vet. The convience and peace of mind that comes from this location is something I'm so grateful for.

After many visits to my regular vet,where they could not find out what was wrong with my cat,the situation became an emergency. I went to Pieper Memorial on a Sunday. They found what was wrong with him and we started treatment immediately. It’s been 3 years since his surgery and the follow up care has been phenomenal. I was informed of all options for treatments and the possible outcomes. The whole staff has compassion and took care of my cat as if he were their own. I have recommended this hospital to several people for top notch care! My cat is healthy and happy now!

Sadly, I brought my senior kitty, Lucy in for end of life care. Everyone was so empathetic and considerate to me and my baby Lucy. I know it's not easy on them either, and I'm forever grateful that they helped my sweet baby pass over the rainbow bridge peacefully.To the staff — I appreciate all that you do to help furbabies & parents who walk through your door. The staff is AMAZING super sweet and UNDERSTANDING! I really appreciated The kindness, and very easy care with my baby they treated her like they would their own fur baby an I loved it so did baby haha they even got the girl to eat a treat after everything I was shocked! Their amazing! 10/10

Carrie at the front desk is so kind and welcoming. The check in process online was quick and easy I didnt have to fill anything else out when arriving. The vet tech was very sweet and understanding of my dog being skiddish. The veterinarian was also nice and prescribed medication for my dogs issue. Hopefully i will not need to go back but would choose there over anywhere else when my regular vet is not available.

Today was a long day. The care at pieper urgent care in Madison was amazing. Unfortunately they were very busy and had a couple of really sick animals that needed tending to. I’ve only been there twice before and both times I got seen rather fast and was on my way. Today I was stuck at pieper for several hours and I observed a team of professionals at their best. From Amy at the front desk who was attentive to everyone in the lobby and Also paying close attention to people approaching the building to Make sure everyone was paying attention to their animals - by everyone I mean me. Today had the makings of a waiting room full of angry people and sick animals, but it was incredibly peaceful. The mood set by Amy and every other smiling face that came into that waiting room from the back hallway kind and warm. The care once you got seen was efficient but not rushed. Dr Drake was exceptional. She began by sincerely apologizing for the long wait, they were slammed, she definitely had a stressful day but did not show it at all, and I certainly was not expecting an apology. I think I was expecting a burned out doctor that hadn’t taken a break in hours. What I got was a kind enthusiastic doctor who was eager to comfort my dog and see how she could help him and me. She was completely focused on chadwick and while she gently examined him she took time to completely and patiently explain things to me and answer every question I had. She showed me X-rays that meant nothing to me and clearly explained what we were looking at in multiple views comparing one side to the other… At the end of a very long day I left grateful for the care and attention we received. They also explained the procedures and approximate cost and asked if I wanted to proceed. This was a very comfortable way of making sure I wasn’t blind sided by the cost at the end of the visit. I felt the bill was very fair for the service provided especially for same day treatment on a Saturday.Extremely well run practice. Thank you for the care we received today.

We were visiting relatives and happened upon Pieper Veterinary based on a Google search of places that were open when we wanted our dog's eye to be looked at. We're very glad we happened upon Pieper by chance as they provided great service! Everyone was very nice and caring and truly committed to serving pets and their human families. We appreciated them seeing us on such short notice despite it being close to closing. They greeted us at the door (we'd called ahead) and expediently examined and treated our dog while taking the time to explain everything to us. Everyone was very friendly and patient. We went back and immediately recommended Pieper to our relatives.

My experience was everything I could have hoped for. Everyone there worked professionally and with compassion for both my dog, and also for me. I was so upset, and really needed support, and all the women there rolled their sleeves up and did all they could. We are all hopeful Ella will be ok in a day or two but the kindness, above and beyond care, and thoughtfulness was the kind of treatment most people never get to see. These women are the exact kind of women who should be in this profession - all about the animal but also so kind to the owner. Thank you. The world is a better place with all of you in it! The professionalism, warmth, and proactivity of all the women was a gift and I am grateful for that.

This clinic is a God send . I was so distraught over my cat Prada having mouth pain I was in tears . I called the middletown office and it was hours upon hours of a wait time and they recommended the madison urgent care. I drove an hour to this office and it was worth it. The woman at the desk Carrie was unbelievably sweet and understanding as well as the vet tech Kelsey and the Vet Dr. Drake . Although they don't do dental work she was able to take a look and atleast get my baby on antibiotics and pain meds until she sees her normal vet. Both the tech and Dr where so gentle with her and patient. She is feeling so much better! What a blessing this office was especially being open 7 days a week . Thank you all for what you do and for getting my Prada out of pain and back to her frisky self !

We were visiting family in the area and we thought something was wrong with our dog Ariel so we ended up reaching out. We called and was able to be seen right away! Everyone in the office was understanding, patient and kind. They were very good with her and didn't push anything extra that they felt she didn’t need. We had to bring our dog here yesterday. Once we arrived they quickly started helping us. The Dr. was amazing!!! She was extremely polite, informative, and helpful. The two ladies in the front desk were also super great. For hard stressful times, like our family had by seeing our dog that sick, I can definitely recommend this place anybody. On a cross country road trip our 10 yr old Golden Retriever needed immediate attention. Pieper Vet Clinic far exceeded our expectations. They saw our dog in short order on a Saturday, and the Doctor couldn't be more patient kind and informative regarding treatment options. Palliative care was chosen, then eventually end of life decision. They made a special room for our family to gather around our pet (including our other dog) to take all the time in this dimly lite calming environment needed to bond and gently move forward. A different but equally compassionate doctor, spoke quietly, explaining everything to prepare us. It was a peaceful, beautiful transition for us all. If they treated passing travelers with such kindness...I can only imagine that regular patients must love this place.

A huge thank you to the Madison office! I had an emergency situation with my German Shepherd. My finances were extremely limited due to personal things going on, and this office came to the rescue. They were kind and they listened. I am so grateful for them! That this Madison office did everything they could to help me and my dog Zeus. The staff there is amazing and professional. Thank you.

Everyone here is so nice and professional. I came in with my new cat and I was very nervous about her condition but the doctor and vet techs were kind enough to put my mind at ease. The staff were extremely helpful and reassuring. There was barely any wait and overall I felt like everyone working there genuinely cared about the well-being of my cat.

I am so grateful that your office is a available for after-hours visits. I was able to easily get a convenient appointment time and have my dog be seen quickly for his ear infection. Everyone was so kind to my spotted dog and helped him feel comfortable when the vet is not his favorite place to be! While I hope I don't need to utilize your services again anytime soon, I am relieved to know such a fantastic team is close by in case my pup needs help! Thank you!
