Dr. Bernie is 1) brilliant and 2) has an instant rapport with pets as well as their humans. I brought both of my dogs in for integrative wellness visits. One dog has lymphoma the other had a skin lesion issue we could not clear up despite meds and OTC shampoos. Both dogs are doing great. She has also converted me to a believer in making my dog food. This alone has completely changed both dogs - and they love it. I can not recommend her and her staff highly enough. Don't delay. Make an appointment.

I wasn't sure where to take Rex (cat), who needed care. Was very pleased Adorable Pets was accepting new clients. Rex got necessary samples taken to provide a diagnosis which turned out to be diabetes. I feel very comfortable Rex is in good hands. The staff is so friendly and not hurried to answer questions. So grateful.

Adorable Pets Vet Clinic, in Chester, CT provided excellent care for our newly acquired rescue dog. I have utilized another vet for many years for our previous rescue dogs.. Dr. Bernie and her staff are the benchmark all others should be measured to. Her approach to care is measured and thoughtful with a blend of both eastern and western medicine. We appreciate this approach as clearly articulates a wealth of experience and knowledge in a way the owners can understand and be comfortable with in making decisions. She gave us another year with our Boston who had cancer without the use of chemo using Chinese herbs and recently, while in Ireland, she and her staff coordinated care for our dog sitter when our Boxer came down with a UTI, based on history, calls, and conversation. She knows and remembers each pet and owner and provides both the highest level of care and the highest level of empathy leaving you knowing she and her staff love both like family.She is HIGHLY recommended by us, and we sincerely appreciate all the care and time she and her staff put forth.

The doctor and staff were so kind and gentle with our rescue dog. He was scared at first but with their help, he became comfortable and had a great experience. I've used this veterinarian office for at least the last 10 years and will continue with them as long as I have pets! Medical bills can be very expensive. I like that they give me options and costs up front so that I can make the best decisions for my pet!

The best vet around...paws down! I have been with Dr. Bernie and Adorable Pets since she opened her doors and I wouldn't go anywhere else, even when I moved 30 minutes away. We brought our dog Sammy Deziel and the Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Veterinarian knew her stuff and I would Highly Recommend them to family and friends. They are so Busy that you may need to pay a fifty dollar deposit to secure your appointment but it is worth it and goes towards your bill anyway so I had no issue doing that through their website. The prices were fair even with the inflation mess this gvt has us in.

Even though they're only taking emergency clients and this wasn't one the staff fit me in. They were so kind and little Sid is thriving under their care.

We’ve been with Dr.Bernie from almost the time she opened her practice in Haddam since we got our first dog Scupper and lived in East Hampton.She is knowledgeable, kind, honest and realistic besides very intuitive with diagnosing issues with our pets. We would not consider going anywhere else although there are vets much closer to where we live. Wendy the office manager is top notch as are all the staff at her office. We've never met a team that cares so much for our animals! Dr. Bernie and her staff go above and beyond to make sure our pets are comfortable at every visit, and empower us to be better pet parents with a ton of resources. We never feel like we're being rushed through an appointment, or being asked to pay for services we don't need. Excellent communication (email and phone check-ins and reminders), and easy to make appointments and confirm information. We especially love that they are a Cat Friendly Practice, and that they take extra care to give cats their own quiet space and intentional handling. Can't say enough good things!

Love Dr Bernie. She and her staff are wonderful, caring people who are really operating in the best interest of the animals. Never is there a "hard sell" like so many other vets.They even make house calls which is a huge help to people like me with 3 cats who would never let me crate and transport them all at once.Dr Bernie takes the time to explain everything and make sure to answer all my questions thoughtfully.The staff always follows up on every visit to make sure my cats are doing well. I highly recommend them and wouldn't go anywhere else.I have recommended her to neighbors and friends and they are all very happy with this clinic.

We have used Adorable Pets now for years and are very pleased. They have a compassionate approach to people and their pets. We bring a dog and a cat to the practice and they are wonderful with both. I like their use if both Eastern and Western medicine. Our dog is currently recovering from a pulled tendon and is taking an antiinflammatory with the support of healing herbs to help rebuild the tendons health. A great approach!!

We recently took Ruby to be spayed at Adorable Pets - the staff took great care of her from the time we dropped her off until we picked her up- They called during the day to informs of her surgery and also the next day to check on her recovery. The after care instructions and charges were all explained in detail and there were no surprises. Br Bernie is a skilled surgeon ~ by the way that Ruby is recovering so quickly confirms this!

Best Vet ever! Dr. Bernie is great and takes great care of the animals. She had to do an emergency spay on my dog and did a great job with this tricky surgery. She spent more than enough time explaining everything to me and making sure that I fully understood absolutely everything. There was a possibility of my dog not making it, which is a risk with any surgery, but I felt she really wanted to make sure I was fully informed. She was very clear on all instructions and the cost of everything. There was absolutely no surprises. My dog has been doing great and I am so thankful.
