If you need to speak to a human you will be waiting a minimum of 10 minutes. Then when a human (loosely) does answer, it is highly unlikely that they will help whatsoever. They filled a script too early so insurance didn't want to cover, and they said "take it up with your insurance company". No offer to put it back & refill in a few days...nothing. CVS is literally THE WORST entity on the planet.

I recently had to pick up a prescription my doctor sent to CVS after an appt with him. I left his office and drove to Granby to pick it up as I received a text that they had received it and were processing it. As I wasn't feeling well, I chose to go thru their drive thru pick up. Unfortunately when I pulled up there was a sign that the drive up was closed due to staff shortage. I reluctantly drove around and parked my car. Upon entering the store, I headed to the back of the store only to find the pharmacy closed up with another sign that they close every day for lunch between 1:30 and 2pm. I checked the time and it was only 1:40. I understand people need a break and the fact they maybe need to close down but I would have thought they would do this earlier like 12 or 12:30 when most people do lunch.Anyway, the fact I wasn't feeling well, needed my prescription, and wasn't going to drive 10 miles home and 10 miles back the way I felt, I had no choice but to wait 20 mins. When they reopened a man asked me if he could help me. I told him I was picking up a rx. He pointed to his right and said go to pickup. I didn't realize I was at the wrong window. I didn't see any sign at that window but went in the direction he pointed. I passed a window and kept going until I found where it said pickup. The woman there took my info and said she had 2 for me. I just want to say that neither of these employees were personable at all. Maybe working with the public isn't their thing. Or maybe only having a 30 minute break wasn't enough for either of them.I just hope next time I need a prescription, I'm smart enough to have it called in to a different location. I don't care to go back to this one.

Employees are great but not enough of them. I avoid this place as much as possible. Prices are ridiculously high. It would be great if they had a cashier, I have to ring the bell and wait to be checked out every time, sometimes for more than 10 min. Forget trying to use a coupon, for one reason or another they are always expired. I can honestly say there is no other store that I dislike more than this CVS.

I mean it’s a drug store so how bad can it be? I tried to sign up to have my prescriptions delivered. One person helped me and I thought I was all set. Waited a few days for my prescription to arrive and no dice. I went there the next day and there it was for pickup. The person working that day said the only way to sign up is on the website. Also don’t try to call there because they never pickup the phone. Good times !

They have minimal store staff as nearly every grocery and retail stores do these days. But whenever I've asked someone for help, they point me in the right direction. In one case, I needed an OTC specialized pain reliever and it was in two places in the store because it has two purposes. The staff member showed me both, and pointed out the ones that were cheaper. I really appreciated that since insurance didn't cover it and it wasn't cheap.I've had great service from the pharmacy. They are a smaller store than Southwick but more convenient and in-state so I find it easier to keep all of our prescriptions there. For some I have to call two days before I'm out to ensure that they get the order in on time. Their supplier doesn't deliver weekends. In most cases I put my scripts on auto-refill when available and I get text messages with updates and reminders. I find the app is easy to use and has most of the info I need.That said, when I have to call, I get a prompt answer 95% of the time. I rarely go in and instead use the drive thru even if there's a line. When I do go in, there's rarely a wait. The one exception is when I got my Covid booster - I waited 30 minutes past my appointment and the guy giving it wasn't the best.I've used other CVS stores - Southwick is great, Simsbury ok, Avon very good. Granby is local and their staff pretty much has stayed the same. Kind, helpful, and quick unless someone in front of me has a question for the pharmacists. Keep in mind that with Covid, it's better to use the app or call in advance if possible because staffing everywhere is tight but they do a great job with what they have. I've been using this pharmacy for over 10 years.

It's have been a customer of CVS for over 20 years, this store is outdated. This store has expired products sometimes and has tripping hazards once in a while with boxes lying around. Pharmacy basically has no service and prices are above average.

I've had two experiences where I left my purchases on the counter and walked out. The manager was standing right there both times. He didn't say he would be a minute and he didn't call anyone up to help me. There is not enough help in this store and I will not check myself out. You can't replace people with machines and there is no incentive to ring yourself up (like a discount). The prices have become ridiculous. I go there for my meds, then go to Southwick for everything else. The workers are a lot more friendly there.

Once, my doctor called in a script, they filled it, and I picked it up like you might expect. Once.My child and I fill a couple dozen scripts a month between us... ONE TIME have I been able to get ONE script without a hassle.Don't bother calling them. You could live in New Haven and still get a faster response by driving to the store and waiting 15 minutes for them to acknowledge your existence.They're rude, unknowledgable, and completely unhelpful.Helpful hint... if you're waiting on hold for an hour, try pressing 2 for the provider line. They answer that one right away. It's like magic.

My regular pharmacy because of it’s convenient location but a recent interaction with one of their pharmacists just irritated me. Simple questions about a prescription medication cost (with insurance card in hand) shouldn’t require an in-store visit. The male pharmacist in the phone was adamant about it being easier for HIM to have me leave my house, drive to pharmacy, see my card and then look into how much something would cost on a certain plan rather than inputting the information over the phone. Not customer-centric at all. Most of the other employees here are just fine and surprisingly cordial but this guy needs to go.

Horrible pharmacy service. Waited on hold for 40 minutes because I didn't feel good. Ended up driving to store while on hold, walked in to pharmacy and there were no customers and no phones ringing. They have their phones turned off or on mute. When confronted they denied everything. 1 pharmacy tech was extremely rude, no apologies.

Horrible service, actually, no service at all. Walked up to Pharmacy counter twice with no response from any of the 5 people behind the counter. Wasn’t ever greeted in the store and ended up walking out when no one came around to assist me with finding the item I was searching for. Walked out and went to another drugstore.My CVS at home would never put up with that kind of shoddy service especially with only one other couple in the store at the time. I don’t remember seeing anyone at the drive up window either.Will certainly not be returning to this store when I’m back in the area visiting my family

It's a CVS. They are all the same, squeezed so tight by corporate there is no staffing to help, you can wait at checkout for a while before an employee comes to ring you out. Prices are so marked up compared to anywhere else.Pharmacy is fine though.

Do not purchase Greendot gift cards or any gift cards from CVS.I purchased $100 greendot gift card and when I tried to activate it, it was invalid number.I went back to CVS Granby CT with my receipt and they initially said nothing they can do since it’s a third party gift card.Called an 800 number for CVS and they opened a case.. 10 days later green dot called and left message. When I tried to return the call, it was an invalid extension number.Big run around trying to get my money back.

I usually frequent the CVS in Southwick, MA, but had to run to the Granby, CT store because Southwick closes at 8, and Granby was open until 9. I needed to fill a prescription for my wife. When I arrived at 8:30 the pharmacist asked if I was dropping the prescription off for the next day. When I explained the situation, she filled the prescription on the spot. She even filled it with tablets instead of capsules because they were less expensive. Appreciate ANNA G. for going the extra mile so my wife could have her prescription this evening.

I was on hold for over an hour for no one to answer. I’m very sick and I need confirm my insurance information that’s all I had to do. I had change my location because these people are terrible here. They are lazy and lack any type of customer service this store gives cvs a bad name.

Awful service. Constantly under-staffed and ALWAYS has a long wait. My favorite part is how there are 5 people behind the pharmacy counter and yet only 1 is willing or able to help you.

They can't get their act together. Most times, and I'm not exaggerating, most times I've tried to pick up my medication that they've told me is ready, it's actually NOT filled. I've been given notifications that a prescription has been filled when I never asked for one.I'm going to Stop and Shop. CVS is garbage.

Store opens at 8 am. Not really, the manager is late so the line of people at the door are turned away due to the manager not being in yet. Guess the local pharmacy is looking better all the time.

I tried calling for help with a prescription, and the person I spoke to on the phone was rude, short, and not very helpful. I always try my best to be kind to workers over the phone, but I was really disappointed at how annoyed she seemed by a simple question I was asking.
