Recently I went into our local Ocean State Job Lot and was looking for a kitchen dish stainer. I just couldn’t find it, I then noticed an employee and quickly asked him if he could help. I then realized he was already helping someone else and also being paged! However he still offered to help me and said he’d be right with me. I continued to look on my own for a moment and as I did find one strainer he came to I was and actually had found the exact product I was actually looking for! What terrific service! Thank you all staff who helped👍Highly recommend this store !

I love that I can get blankets for $20-$35 & sheets for $15-35 &pillowcases packs of 2 for $6. There is also a good pet section, outdoor gardening materials & a big selection of K-cups. I got nail polish for $2 yesterday. Also a good supplier of outdoor camping equipment. They have an online catalog too.

I love going to Ocean State. I purchase certain items, especially the big desk calendars. Only 3.99 each, other places outrageous, purchased a couple for teachers. Socks are warm and cozy for winter. Christmas wrapping best place to buy, more square footage. Now it's 50 % off. Already purchased for next year.

This store has something for everybody. From home interior items to clothing or pet accessories and crafts goods. Literally they have an inventory of products that usually aren't available at one store.The products change often and are usually fairly priced. I would advise that you check the price of your item as the sticker price is not always correct or clear. Overall a good bargain store.

Online pickup with Crazy Deal card went smoothly. The Crazy Deal brought the item to a much better price than any other vendor had, including their sale prices.This (New Haven location) is the most convenient location for me. Notes: parking lot has always been cleared of snow; and store is laid out well, so finding what I need is usually a painless process.

I love this store . It has alot of great deals on a variety of things. Im suprised by name brands I find here and general over all quality of their goods. Wide variety of departments and items . Check here first. The manager is fun and on top of things . The staff are kind and helpful.

So after leaving a 2 star review the company reached out for more details so here goes. This store is an absolute disaster; it is always messy, the staff is unfriendly, and navigating the store is challenging because it is so cramped. I understand that this is a bargain store with merchandise changing often, but this location has no natural flow and is actually quite depressing to shop at!

What a deal! A roomy, recyclable shopping bag for 99 cents and a small shopping box for less than $2.00. There are small, medium, and large shipping/packing boxes available. Who needs to spend 10 cents per bag that is so small that it will not fit the majority of your items purchased....when you can purchase at least 3 recyclable shopping bags from Ocean State Job Lot? AND, still say money? Think about every time you go to the store, on an average shopping trip, you may spend roughly 10 cents for at least 5 bags... multiply that by months and 1 year! Yes, it is that serious. Money saved....And, the shipping/packing boxes are great for sending care and packages, storing items for moving.This store also has low-cost lawn and garden items including seeds, fertilizer, plant containers (all size), and push brooms. Lots of affordable school and office supplies, small kitchen appliances, pots, pans, food, snacks and more.

Always have a pleasant experience in this store, or any others in this chain, and that's been true for over 20 years. People who work for OSJL seem to like people and like their jobs! I think management respects its workers, and it shows. I usually find some good stuff here at a good price, and recommend it to others. Give it a try.

Huge parking lot. Handicap accessible. Friendly staff. Clean and orderly for the large inventory. Never jumbled. Quality name brands. They carry dry goods but no perishable products.

I usually like going to Ocean State but I had a bad experience today. I went into the store and asked if it was the senior discount day. They said yes. Told them I would like an conditioner and if I could get help. Really nice guy gets the air conditioner brings it to the counter. I pay for the product and just them the woman I was talking to walked by and said the item didn't qualify for the discount. Why the heck didn't she say that when I first came in and asked. She was standing right there before I rang out and never said a word. Only when I went to pay. I would have bought it anyway but the fact she wasn't honest in the beginning really stunk. And from what I was told she was a manager. Nice work ethic.

Good pricee. Everytime I've gone the isles are organized. When going to check out they always haven enough registers available, along with moving the lines out the door quickly. The customer service is very friendly and well informed about the products they're selling as well as being very aware on the sales they're having for the current week or season.

Def a dif store most things are the same price u can find things there u wont find anywhere else but it's ok. Big store alot of outdoor and pool supplies and have a decent selection of food as well

I was at the store recently. The staff was very friendly. I was a little overheated and the cashier kindly brought me a chilled water while I waited for my friend to shop. Caring service hard to find anywhere but they have it at this store. Good Ocean State Job Lot bargains too.

We always get great deals, but recently had a problem redeeming 2 Crazy Deal gift cards. The store staff insisted that I must have partially used one of them already so the cash register didn't give me the full value. I knew that this wasn't right and pushed the issue, but got nowhere. I was told to call Corporate. I did, the representative looked into it, and said I was right! They were extremely kind and arranged for me to receive a refund. Bottom line: Keep track of the balances on your gift cards, and be especially careful when redeeming more than one gift card in the same transaction.
