Great coffee and sandwich shop in the town center. Food is excellent, and coffee is good enough. 3$ large coffee decent. Better in a real ceramic mug! Best thing they have cinnamon, cocoa, and nutmeg if you like (not to be fussy, but vanilla is my favorite). Not many shops do that anymore. Paper cups, no cinnamon, ugh.Seating inside is great, a separate quiet room even. Wooden tables, and a comfy chair if you like.5 thumbs 👍 up, well done. If you happen to be in this small town...Parking: On the street outside the door or lots down the street.

This coffee house has decent customer service. I love that it helps with people who have disabilities to have a job. However, i have to say that the coffee really wasnt up to my liking. My wife (who is a barista herself) ordered a chai latte with an espresso shot the espresso was sour and not done properly and she was not a fan of the chai itself either. I dont think we will be returning.

When I went with friends to the nest coffeehouse a year ago, the inside is beautiful and has this country style look and the tea I ordered was good and one of the employees that took my order was very nice!! I also love how this place changes people with special needs by having them work at the cafe and as well as having meetup events including the water lantern lighting they have every year. I would definitely come here again with my other friends when I am able to and would also love to see this place open other locations in the state of Connecticut to help more people with special needs get a job.

This was such an amazing experience! Totally recommend. One of the best lattes I have had all throughout Connecticut. My mom got a hot latte and I got an iced oat milk latte and they were both top tier. We got egg sandwiches which were delicious and the pastries looked amazing as well. Such an amazing and welcoming environment, the staff was incredibly friendly, chatty, and great with us! The shop included handmade items from people and businesses from the local community. 5 stars all around. This business also employs and includes people of all disabilities which is amazing!!

I went for lunch with my friend and had a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a croissant! The staff was excellent, and very friendly! The atmosphere was comfortable, and the decor was beautiful! I will be back again, and would highly recommend it to anyone else! They support a community focused environment and they even have cute T-shirts, and other things for sale!

Had a delicious lunch there with my friend. Healthy menu with great breakfast choices and wraps to choose from. My friend enjoyed a frothed coffee with a fabulous blueberry muffin. To go we took one if their homemade lemon cookies and had fun shopping with a selection of fun items on their shelves!

The Nest is a really special place with amazing people, a clear mission, and a fantastic (and consistent) product. The best place to find coffee and pastries, sandwiches, and ice cream in Deep River.The seating area is quiet and off to the side, with plenty of space to set up shop and get some work done.

I visited the nest today and asked Marina the barista what their favorite coffee was with some vague requests: iced, lots of caffeine and dairy-free. This got me a cup of the most DELICIOUS turtle iced latte with an extra shot of espresso and oat milk which totally made my day!! The staff is so kind, the coffee is super yummy and the atmosphere while I was waiting was very relaxing.

The most adorable little place. Friend had a latte, greatly enjoyed it. I had an iced tea, so refreshing. They give you a bird card to call you when it's your order time instead of a name or number. Such a cute touch!

I love this place, Many of the workers are special needs, and this place provides them with people skills as well as quick math skills, My brother works there throughout the week with a job coach and has improved within two months with people skills. Now to the decorations, very rustic, but very calming, many of the paintings in the wall relate to the name ‘The Nest’. Next I would like to say thank you to Mary Jo Helchowski, a personal friend and a very big part of the nest! And i would like to conclude this with my personal favorite on the menu, besides the black coffee😂, is a morning scone!!!

Very nice place! Good regular and custom coffee/tea/latte selection. Staff were very friendly. It also had a selection of items custom made by the people of Deep River. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

I love the Nest!It's so cozy. They thought of everything: calming, dimmable lighting, fresh ground coffee, a kind staff, and even a quiet room if you need a little break! There are comfy chairs as well as tables, and they really encourage you to just come and be, even after you've finished your coffee. There's even a little lending library you can take and leave books at! It's just a nice place, plain and simple.

Pretty place, comfortable and cozy. I ordered the french onion soup sandwich and it was delicious, tasted just what the name suggested. However the desserts are the hit here. They were yummy, you must try one.

The attention to detail here is so apparent with every item I’ve ever bought. Every coffee and ice cream is consistently delicious and well prepared. I would post a picture of the caprese sandwich I just purchase however it is nearly gone now oops!

Awesome! Decided to stop on my way through town. So glad I went here instead of Dunkin. Friendly staff and fast service! I got a late and egg sandwich on a bagel and was in and out in less than 5 mins!
