Handed in two prescriptions through the drop off window and was told that it would be ready in one hour. Arrived an hour later and only one prescription was ready. When I questioned about the second prescription the girl who took my prescriptions said that I only handed in one. She was adiment that I only gave her one by telling the gentleman that was helping me multiple times that she is positive I only gave her one. At this point I am being called a liar. He checked the computer and said only "one" was submitted. I asked if there was a way to check how many I submitted by going through the prescriptions and sure enough, I submitted two prescriptions. At this point I am livid because I'm my opinion, someone should have checked the prescriptions instead of claiming i only submitted one. If I did in fact only submit one I would have no problem admitting that I made a mistake and that I was sorry. I made my frustration known by saying that I did not serve this country to be called a liar and that I was offended. So Pharmacist Dave told me that just because I served it does not give me the right to he offended. First off, I was taken back by his comment and secondly, you do not speak to Veterans like that. When I asked what was Dave's last name, the only answer he would give me was "M". He was not even professional enough to supply me with his full last name, just an initial.

The Worst pharmacist ever! Dave is a subhuman, arrogant, rude, pathetic child. He should never be aloud to speak to customers. He degrades everyone, including his coworkers, in such a smug know it all way. This individual has no redeeming qualities.CVS you must FIRE Dave the pharmacist. I will call corporate everyday until he is gone.BTW: Almost everyone else there is great or at least decent.

I showed up at 8:14 am. Store sign said open at 8. Bagged newspaper in front of the door. Lights off. Someone in their car, waiting to go in. Unless someone had a medical emergency or something, you can't open on time?

Running late tonight 2/15/24. I get to the pharmacy drive through at 7:50p and they're closed. They should be open until 8p. If your listed hours are until 8p you SHOULD be open until 8p. Wasted trip!!

This pharmacy needs to be investigated. Constant conflicting information being given by the app/text messages. I’m on medication that keeps me alive day to day and this is now the 3rd or 4th time in the last year that I’ve received a text saying my medication was ready and when I go to pick it up I’m told it’s out of stock. The request for prescription gets sent in each month on the Monday before I will run out so that if it is out of stock there’s an entire week to procure it. My prescription was in process for several days, then listed as filled. Now in the middle of the weekend when my doctor isn’t available I have no access to the medication as my prescription can not be transferred to an alternate location without having a new one sent in. These people do not care if customers live or die. This is a combination problem with this cvs and the cvs/text messaging automated system. If they were out of stock and could not get my medication for more than a week I should have been notified during the week. Instead the app and Text messaging system/pharmacy showed a normal status. I have to literally lay in bed for 24 hours in excruciating pain hoping I wake up in the morning and I’m not dead. This should be considered flagrant, malicious, dangerous, and illegal.

Update-pharmacist hates his job and it shows. One of my 1st Visits. Poor window service. Young girl was rude and acted like i was wasting her time. Seriously Cvs? Use some of that cash your spending on acquisitions and train your personnel better or make the effort to hire better people.

I am rating the pharmacyThe employees that help you are great but there is a pharmacist who doesn't care about anybody. Very rude. I no longer have CVS as my pharmacy because of that person. I miss the other employees.

Switched from the one in Target. From the first script fill Absolutely horrible. I was told a script needed to be renewed as it was old. The script was literally ready at the other location. No renew needed. Not sure if it is just the incompetent employee or what. Seeing these are things that people need to stay alive and well they would be a little more accurate about them. I was also told misinformation about lnsurance coverage. If your looking for a responsible pharmacy please look somewhere else. Your loved ones deserve better!

HORRIBLE! I am so sorry to have to write this, but I feel if I can save just one person from going through the continuing unprofessional mistreatment I have, I have done my job. I myself stopped using CVS Pharmacy in Brooklyn over 10 years ago, because every. single. time., I went there for a prescription I encountered the most insolent individuals. No smiles, no greetings, when they did look at me, and I smiled, they returned my smile with a look of condescension and to top it off an extremely long wait time; (probably a marketing ploy to get one to shop in the rest of the store). Unfortunately for me I had to deal with them again as I am helping an elderly person who returned home from rehab. The 2 times (in as many days) I had to deal with them there were issues. First problem ~ prescription was called in 2 days before we arrived to pick it up. When we tried to pick it up, I was told 3 times in a very patronizing manner, “it was never called in”. We called the provider, and they said it was called in, and verified that statement by promptly calling CVS and spoke with the pharmacist himself who said it was and had been ready, I made another trip (15 miles round trip) back to CVS. The pharmacist defended the tech who told me the script was never called in. Pharmacist said wrong birth year was given, that is why the tech could not “find” the script. Oddly enough the tech was able to “find” and tell me about a different script that I was not even aware of, for the very same person. So, even though the wrong year was given, she was able to find another script for the same person and the pharmacist claimed it was totally my fault. ‘Huh?’ Second day ~ another prescription was called in by provider at 10am; at 1:05pm we called to see if it was ready; was told they “were closing down for lunch at 1:30-2:30, but if I wanted to take a chance and come by right before 1:30 it ‘might be ready’”. I decided given their track record to wait until 3pm to give them enough time. I was not surprised when it was NOT ready at 3pm, however, it did not keep me from going from zero to 100 in a New York minute, which is NOT my nature at all. With my urging my friend is now changing to Stop & Shop in Dayville. He was not fond of CVS, for some of the same reasons as me, but did not realize it was so easy to change pharmacies. From Stop and Shop I receive excellent professional service, friendly techs who actually smile, the pharmacist, even though busy is personable, they have great prices, and never make me feel like I am bothering them. CVS pharmacy employees could take some lessons from them. The store associates at CVS Brooklyn CT are always pleasant and helpful.

When CVS was a pharmacy, they were great. Once they took on Healthcare, the pharmacy part died. Rudest pharmacist I've ever dealt with and from the other reviews I just read, many others have had similar issues. Go elsewhere or another CVS, avoid the Brooklyn, CT location at all costs. W place is next door and has much better service and prices. They also don't just click that your prescription is ready so their numbers look good, they actually have it ready.

Husband prescribed pain meds. Not available there. Told him he had to figure out on his own where to get them, rather than taking the 30 seconds a different CVS took to tell him where availability could be accessed. Lazy employees.

Don’t go here for anything! I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy and needed to refill 2 of my inhalers. I called in the beginning of the week and spoke to a women who said she would put a request through my doctor and order the other. I call on Thursday just to check in on my second inhaler and a man answered to tell me that he does not see anything on my file and that I needed to call my doctor. He was rude, full of attitude, yelled at me, and basically told me that it was my fault. I’m going to move everything to Walgreens down the road. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Been trying to get a prescription filled for my wife for two weeks and keep being told it's not approved, made several calls to Dr's office to check if they have received anything, Dr's office said they haven't received anything. When I went to pick up a nother prescription,I asked about hers. I was told "they quit making the drug". I called an asked the pharmacist about it and he said I beas not told that and four people heard the conversation, only person at the window was the person who said it and nobody else was around. Then the pharmacist became very rude and said I should take my business elsewhere because I eventually don't care about CVS.

Google MapsMinuteClinic at CVSWalk-in clinicPLACE DETAILSPhoto of James RivnyakJames Rivnyakjust nowWell the setting of the appointment was easy, then upon arrival it went downhill real fast from there. 12/19/2022, Time 11:40 am.Started to do the Kiosk and got interrupted several times, then waited, then more questions, then into the room we go.I will say this, after 10 to 15 minutes of rough direction, being abruptly told what to do, being talked down to, I had enough and stated to Linda Pio that she needed to change her tone and comments to me as I was there for help not her abuse.Told me little to nothing about what was going on, every question was like pulling teeth. She just wanted to type in the computer and move me along. No personality for dealing with sick people. No interaction skills with a patient, No nothing but a very uncomfortable situation. If I had to be seen again there I much rather stay sick. She wore no gloves, No mask but kept correcting me when my mask moved a little. Then she went and gave me a $239.00 bill ??????? Is that the cost to be treated and uncomfortable these days.I was there for the 139.99 max to be seen, that does not include the meds. Just maybe if she let me know what was going and what to expect I would not have been so upset. Sorry but Terrible, terrible visit. I will NEVER go back to that clinic. My scripts are going to go to Big Y and I will go to another care facility.Be nicer and have more manners when dealing with the sick Linda or move onto another profession. This has 1 star because it would not let me leave it blank. It was a nice 18 years of this CVS, even in the old building but it is time to move on.Jim

Just dropped by to pick up our free covid tests from the pharmacy. They said we could get eight free covid tests a month and that they'd be ready for us to pick up shortly. We waited about 20 minutes in the parking lot, got a call that they were ready; we go to pick them up and they said they can only provide two a month. Idk why they couldn't determine that before making us wait, but this isn't the first time this store has been inaccurate, and often they're rude as well. When we went for our booster shot few months ago, the head of the pharmacy was quite rude to my (very docile and cooperative) girlfriend and it made me want to knock him out. She still goes here but I avoid this place at all costs—Walgreens in Dayville is 100 times more polite, thorough, knowledgeable and accommodating; highly recommend them instead.

This CVS pharmacy in Brooklyn, CT is horrible. The pharmacist was rude and even if you call in ahead of time to sort out your medication to confirm the pick-up time/date, the script is NEVER ready when they say it will be prepared by. It always takes several trips and many discussions for the pharmacy to get it correct. I am seriously thinking of changing pharmacies.

When a physician sends in a prescription order at 8:30 in the morning to the pharmacy & it is still processing at 3:00 in the afternoon & the only reason you get it filled is because you go into the store, CVS has a problem. When you are on hold for an hour because there is no one to service phone calls, CVS has a problem. When the customer service people in the pharmacy are rude to customers, CVS has a problem. CVS in Brooklyn, look at all the negative comments. You have a problem.

The automated refill is terrible. When you call to see if your prescription is ready, the service gives you a time for pick up. It is NEVER ready. I have gone hours after the stated time and I sit in ridiculous lines at the drive thru only to be told the prescription is still in progress and it can be ready in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, another long line.

Cvs pharmacy use to be excellent with customer service and now they are too big to take care of anything. The automated calls are never accurate. I drive 20 min to pick up meds and don't appreciate when it's not ready after I got a call saying it was. It's happened a number of times. So I call first, wait on hold 15 to 20 min and staff annoyed because they have automated system and I'm calling so I am treated poorly.

Pharmacy has declined in service. Received numerous texts stating prescriptions were ready for pickup. Four visits to pickup scripts and total confusion at the pharmacy. One day stating they only have partial pills and two days later stillNot in. Day 5 they can’t even find the refillInfo online . Looking to move to another pharmacy . Despite a multitude of staff inThe pharmacy they are very inefficient!

I have been going to this CVS for over 15 years and at one point I had no issues with this pharmacy at all. I use the online app and it tells you when you can fill a prescription so I submit it and when I go to the pharmacy one pharmacist in particular says the online app lies it isn't accurate. When I mentioned this to her she tells me this isn't a complaint for me it's for corporate. Have a good day. I'm so tired of the games they don't care about your life or your schedule or your pain or anything at all. I'm going to contact corporate and make a complaint about this pharmacist

Here I sit 15 minutes after the pharmacy was supposed to have opened to pick up a prescription that was already filled. I was at the window at 8am so could get Rx, drop off to mom, and still arrive to work on time. No one answered phone in pharmacy so called store who physically walked to pharmacy to tell them to pick up phone. Pharmacy told me pharmacist just arrived so would be a few minutes. Don’t need to wait for pharmacist if just a pick up! When I said that, was told “it will be a few minutes”. Click - they hung up. Waited another 8 minutes.

Meds not in stock frequently and takes days to finally get them. Do not recommend this CVS but it’s the only one anywhere near me.

This is the second time I’ve gone into CVS and had to walk around to find a staff to help me my find an item . After walking around three times to find someone I finally asked the Pharmary staff if someone was working the store . They said that there was someone working but they had cut down staff. I guess because of the self-service checkouts. Anyways someone finally did show up because the pharmacy staff paged them to go to the front .She was layback with no major concerns...I asked her how many people were working tonight ?Her reply was two staff members.Another time when I was there they had 3 staff members and no one was upfront by the registers to greet or check you out . I couldn’t fine anyone . Very frustrating. Whatever happened to good old fashion shopping when you went to a drugstore convenient store and staff greeted you or were at least at the register you didn’t have to wonder around looking for someone for help.

This pharmacy is terrible and expensive. The prescriptions take forever to fill, they will not let you know if they don’t have something or can’t get it, and if they do, the wait will unbelievable. It’s borderline negligent.

At least the last four times I went to get my prescriptions they didn't have them there. I can't drive to the store so I have to get people to go get them for me and they never have all the prescriptions I always have to go make another trip so I'm done with CVS I'm going to go to Walmart from now on I complain to the pharmacy and all I get kept getting was I'm sorry no excuse why you don't have enough drugs in here as a matter of fact or the X I didn't get mine the person in front of me with the same problem. I've been using that CVS for a long time and suddenly you people seem to be on another planet I'm done with you

We've gone here for a long time, but over the last two years it has become impossible. They cannot get anything right, and prescriptions are never ready when they say. Employees seem clueless or else seem like they don't want to be there. You will be waiting 45 minutes for anything, and sitting in a pharmacy for that long guarantees you will get sick before you are on the way out.

The pharmacy needs to be investigated heavily. Prescriptions are always missing. They never have any clue of thier stock. And today the pharmacy accused me of drug seeking because THEY lost my prescription, and refused to call my doctor. Everyone here should be investigated and fired

Nearly every time my doctor sends them a prescription it will sit for days in their system without being filled until I call them and suddenly it will be ready in an hour. I've never seen a pharmacy where scrips just sit in limbo like this.
