They have a little bit of everything. I needed a good harness for the kitty, and they had the right style. The store was clean and easy to navigate. The building has a small footprint, so it's a little tight.

I've been shopping here for about two years now, first with my older dog (6yrs), and now with my puppy (6mo) as well. Both of my dogs both love the offerings of toys, supplies, and "bakery" selection! I can always find what I'm looking for, and Pet Supplies Plus frequently offers discounts on products - as well as your entire order - if you subscribe to their emails!My only downside is that the aisles are very narrow, so it's not always ideal for navigating with a cart. But, the store is always tidy and the staff is always friendly!

So, my experience wasn’t actually in the store. I called the store because my kitty had surgery and they gave me a collar for my cat the was way too big. I spoke to a lady my the name of Margaret. She was so polite help and took the time to listen to me. She advised me of the products that I could possibly use including offering to leave it up front for me. She was incredibly helpful polite and professional. Margaret is an asset to your establishment. Thank you Margaret.

I visited Pet Supplies Plus and had an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was unwelcoming and chaotic. The store was disorganized, with products scattered haphazardly throughout the aisles. The worst part was encountering a rude worker named Sophia. Not only was she unhelpful, but her attitude was downright disrespectful. When I asked for assistance, she responded with impatience and seemed annoyed by my presence. Her lack of professionalism made my shopping experience unbearable. I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment if you value courteous service and a pleasant shopping environment.

There's rat feces on every shelf now. This has been going on for months. Why is nothing being done about it? Or pay the employees enough to care. It's absurd that this is the only pet store in Bristol. Tractor Supply is 60 seconds up the road in Farmington. I think I've finally had enough

Always really enjoy this location. It’s smaller than others, but packed full of product and at really good prices too. We also noticed they are stocking our favorite freeze dried cat option! We’ll be back for that soon 🙂

Smells like ferret and dog piss out of a hoarders house.... The ammonia fumes are suffocating as soon as one steps into the store... One cannot even race to the back of the store to escape the pungent odor. I've mentioned it several times to employees, yet they've kept their complacent attitudes. Perhaps the employees live in similar filth and are use to it. There is no way one can stand in there longer than 10 minutes at a time... Comparable to concentrated bleach. OSHA needs to pay them a visit. This respectable pet store has NEVER been like this over the last ~20 years.Take the mats/rugs out, wash the floors (should be done daily for a pet store; 1 dog urinating encourages other dogs to pee). I've even seen *new* dirty stuffed toys hanging in the store, like someone's using them to mop the floors with. Disgusting.

Our last few visits, I cannot stomach the smell in the store. From the second the doors open, it smacks you in the face. The ferret cage is being neglected to the point the stench is just too much and I have had to cover my face. And it feels humid it there, so the smell and humidity is just unreal. I've never ever been into a pet food store and experienced something so nasty. What is going on?

This place doesn't have a lot of animals in it, but smells like ammonia from the parking lot.By the time you leave, your clothes smell.I used to work at the old psp in Bristol, with many more animals, and we never let the litter get this bad.This in disappointing not just for the wellbeing of the animals, but you make your employees suffer an unhealthy working environment.I really cannot see how people go here.

I am a long time customer of this store but haven't been in a while. Tonight I was taken back by the terrible smell and lack of cleanliness. There were mouse droppings all over the dog food shelves. The staff have always been friendly and helpful so I'm hopeful mgmt will addresses the issues.

First time at this store. Went to check out the animals and it smelled strongly of urine. I also do not think it is suitable to have the animals in a corner where there is minimal air flow and interaction, as well. I would suggest making the animals more central to the store, cleaning more often and doing deep cleans to help the urine smell, and updating the lighting as it seemed dim in the store. I prefer the West Hartford store for these several reasons. Please put the welfare of the animals first.

Stopped by to look for doggie accessories for my 8lb Chihuahua that we just adopted & we had a great experience. Friendly staff, the 2 sisters that work there are really sweet. Found what we were looking for & more. Will definitely stop by again.

Hours provided online are false. So if you plan on driving to this location based on there store hours they have posted online, you should call first.

I WANT TO ADD ONE THING: a young girl working here this day DID TRY to help. She even asked the long haired girl with glasses about the food, and got a generic answer... but the girl DID go and try to help and she WAS nice and respectful. The other little girl tho (I'm assuming a manager-which I hope not) was not very personable at all. Like her employee was bothering her.ORIGINAL--The smell was over whelming! I HAVE TO say, I was here about 2 years ago and it did not smell ANYTHING like this nastiness! I kept gagging it was so strong! Smelt Like dirty fish tanks or dirty hamsters. Idk. Just stunk awful. I go to petco and petsmart ans other pets stores that carry the same, if not MORE pet stuff and do NOT smell ANYTHING like that!! You don't have knowledgeable staff at ALL!!! very unhelpful when I needed to know if you carry a type of cat food. She knew less than i did! And the prices are ridiculously higher than even the VET! And you didn't even carry normal brands in any variety. I will not be going here again, even because it's the only pet store in bristol. I'll travel to petco.

The store location is convenient for me since it's relatively close to home. If you have dogs or cats, this is a great location to find a variety of supplies, but for any other pets, it is completely limited. The staff there are friendly enough, which allows for a comfortable shopping experience.

I love Bristol Pet Supplies Plus! When I'm too busy with work, I've ordered online for free delivery or curbside pickup. They have a great variety and many brands not available elsewhere.

I want to thank Scott the manager at this location! Scott is a very good manager, very very friendly! I have bought a bearded dragon back in June and have bought him/her down and Scott showed that he cares about the animals he works with! I also want to thank the rest of the team that works there, they are ALL very friendly! Thank you Scott!!! And your team for being one of the best pet stores I shop at!

I was so excited when I dropped off one of my dog's to get groomed to find right around the corner was this amazing pet supply place the staff was amazing so helpful that they carry Primal it's a good price everything was on sale I am the happiest camper right now this place is amazing !! Loved the staff !!! So sweet & friendly!!!

I have been a customer here for many years and I am a loyal dedicated customer even when pet valu was down the road I have always given pet supplies my business. However, I went to the store today and had a horrible experience. I buy the more expensive cat litter and the regional manager always holds a bag in the stock room because the litter I like the litter that is air tight sealed which sometimes it doesn't so they hold it for me. I asked a young boy if he could look and he said we don't have any, I said could you look in the back and he said no, then I asked if he could reach one for me on the top shelf because it looked more air tight he rolled his eyes and reluctantly did it. It made me feel bad. I went to the register and told the cashier and she said I will get the manager which she did. It was a very young girl with a complete attitude. She had her hands on her hip in an agressive stance and could not bother to hear my concern, she said we don't have any without looking I politely explained that the regional manager holds them for me but she couldn't be bothered to help me. I wasn't asking for the world. Her demeanor was very apparent that she could care less about my concern. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with her so I asked for a corporate phone number and she said we are a franchise I don't have that number, I said you have to report to someone so can I have the regional managers number, she said no it's his private cell, I then said can I have his company email she said I couldn't have that, I said what can I have and she said the account managers number which she gave me but no first name attached to it. I asked for her first name and with more attitude than before said I don't have to give that to you, and I looked at the cashier and she told the cashier to not give her name out. I asked for an employee ID number and she told me I dont really have one and I don't have to give that to you. Her stance once again with her hands on her hips this whole. The whole store was run by 3 kids and this was including the manager, she couldn't be more than 19. A child should not be put in a manager position if they come across as if they are being bothered and can't handle a polite complaint. I couldn't have been any nicer but to be treated so rudely and disregard to my concern. I went to my car and sat and called another Pet supplies and was able to get a corporate phone number and an email address. As I sat in the parking lot the cashier kept staring at me while I was waiting on the information from another store so I pulled into the back of the store so I wouldn't be stared at, when I got my information I left. Shortly, I had to go back that way to run more errands and saw police cars in the parking lot. I felt so bad. I didn't threaten this girl and could not have been more polite. I had my 14 year old daughter in the car. This store will never have my business again. You can't let kids to adult jobs when it comes to being a manager. I have always had good experiences here but I will never spend my hard earned dollars in this store again. I wish I could give it no stars for the horrible experience.

Pet supplies plus is the best! Everyone is very friendly and more than willing to help me with any questions I have. The manager Crystal was very helpful in finding all the things I need for my brand new puppy I just took home!!! I highly recommend going to this pet store!!!!!

I went into pet supplies plus to buy some food for my cat Bella and In doing so Margaret asked if i tried Redford brand of cat food I said no and she ended up telling me the benefits of feeding that brand to my cat and she sold me…I went home and my cat loved it and for now on that is the only brand I buy. Thank you for the great service and team that you guys have in Bristol they rock.

Helpful staff! This is my go-to pet supply store. I love it! Good sales, nice displays, and I always find what I need. Don't miss the front corner with the hamsters, birds and fish. Beautifully displayed, colorful, and clean.

Nice people and free cookie for the fur baby. I will definitely return. The store is kept clean and doesn't have a stuffy smell to it. Not overly stuffed with things either like other pet stores. I also like the idea of having a card there that you can use points to get money off of your item but if you have a return they don't refund your points so make sure the item is exactly what you want or the points are wasted. That would be the only downfall of the store I think.

Good prices, friendly staff, and they've always had what I've been looking for. I've mostly shopped for cats there, but there was a good selection canned and dry food, toys, and items. They always had what I needed when I was shopping for a on dog too!They have birds, rodents, and fish available for sale too. Possibly other live animals too, I'm not quite sure.

Love this store! Don’t let its smaller size deter you- they have excellent products, choices, and prices for my dogs, cat, and my 10 gal aquatic tank. The thing I love and appreciate the most is their REWARDS! You earn points for every dollar you spend, plus have chances to earn additional points for reading helpful articles they offer, taking surveys, etc. Very simple to earn and extremely helpful to save big on my online or in store purchases. Plus everyone there is friendly and helpful but never get in my way when I’m taking an hour to choose the right food or medicine for my pets! They’ll offer assistance and if I decline, they’ll leave me to take as much time as I need. I feel part of their pet family and it’s nice. My doggie loves visiting too!!
