One star because customer service is horrible.Only have one person on the register and when another person open up he is a boy he don’t act like a grown man.The men said to me I was taking people from the front of the line not back I’m like you want me to go back you didn’t say you was taking people from the back of the line.The man just opened up so I went to the line he was being sassy and being smart and had the never to say there is people waiting 20 minutes I said well you shouldn’t have one person on the register it’s ridiculous make no sense and I’m a cashier myself. Not only that this store doesn’t have much looks ran out and a hot mess

I was just Checked out by Kelly. She was super friendly, helpful, caring and QUICK! At checking us out. We need more people like Kelly! What an asset for a business like Dollar tree. A great Face for the business too. It’s always nice to go to a check out person who is friendly. She also was very strategic with how she packed our groceries. She noticed how I noticed, and she said, I’m just trying to make your life easier when you carry the bag, that’s what I’m here for. And that was such a nice thing to hear . Awesome service and shopping experience.

This store is conveniently close to my work so try to go but the Shelves are always empty and stuff on thr floors .remember to bring your own bags .service was great though. Best part of going there

Went in just a few items Cleary one person working the register.... I asked if he was the only working in the store he said yes... apparently he didn't realize someone else was working the floor who left him with a line of people trying to check real sad

One slow as molasses cashier working on a Friday night. I waited 10 minutes in line and gave up and ditched my carriage in the store. Staff the store, or close it....

Only 1 star and is thanks to China rep she was good and the only one working. You had 4 people talking to each other and 1 open the register just to help one of their friends. The store was a BIG mess, like going out of business. You also had 4 or 5 man they were looking at the merchandise and look and talking to each other you will think then set up talking to each other even if they're the owners they should start picking up the place

Unfortunately the dollar store on Barnum avenue in Stratford 9 out of 10 times has terrible service causing me to drive to another dollar store who then helps me. I have tried to call and talk to someone no one calls you back, terrible almost every time.

This store has potential to be good to great. They need to hire more people to keep the shelves stocked since there are always boxes everywhere. The store needs to be clean. It really needs a few days just to get it in order and hopefully with enough staff, it will be kept up just like other Dollar Tree stores. The staff are always friendly, pleasant and helpful.

Good Dollar Tree store. Usually it's well-stocked and today was no exception. It's neat, organized and usually lines aren't too long. Easy, big parking lot shared with Harbor Freight, a nice Salvation Army, a grocery store and more. Also convenient to two gas stations. I prefer going here to other Dollar Tree stores.

Love the Dollar Tree were everything truly is $1. Great spot to pick up party supplies, all kinds of candy, snacks for the kids school or to hold them off until dinner is ready, boxed milk to have on hand incase of a storm, frozen foods at $1 unbeatable, the cleaning supplies alone is worth the trip and will save you a ton, cooking utensils/trays/zip bags/storage containers, chargers/gadgets, school supplies, toys, and for the different holidays there is even stuff for that. The employees are super friendly and the location is very convenient.

I love the store but they always leave boxes and boxes of unstocked merchandise in all the aisles l, making it hard for a regular person to maneuver, but almost impossible for someone like me with a disability.

Was at this location yesterday and there was a girl who was being spoken to horribly by a manager. The manager was being rude and hostile and the girl who was on the register ended up leaving and the line was so long. I’ve never seen anything like this. The manager was acting like she was a child and being very unprofessional. I hope the young lady is okay because no one deserves to be treated like that especially in front of customers.

I always come to this dollar tree monthly to buy supplies for my workplace. The staff is always friendly and you can see they have regular costumers who they have great rapport with. Today Jess and another gentleman helped me carry bags to my car after I large purchase. Great friendly staff thank you!

Love this store. They have enough great staff. They’ve recently hired new people I was there on Monday to shop when I noticed. I love shopping in this particular Dollar Tree even if they sell out on what ever I’m looking for they always have something new and exciting and interesting little hobbies and diy projects.

I enter into this Dollar tree store in Huntington Road I was treated so bad everything was disorganized dirty there was four people working is 8:02 p.m. on the Thursday and just one register was open very bad service very unprofessional manager needs some skills very nasty attitude don't know how to talk to the customers she needs to get fired the whole staff needs to get fired. no one at the store was presentable.

I went to dollar tree for some snacks and there were no baskets so i asked a cashier if anybody was using this basket and she said no and gave me the basket and i said thank you then i turn around their was another cashier saying that's my basket very rudely and i said calm down and i also told her a cashier gave me this basket so i gave it to her. then the other cashier brought me another basket before i left i spoke with the manager about how rude she was.that store has good items but the customer service stinks and maybe she don't need to be working there.

It's a good store. But man it's messy. I really wish they can get organized. And keep the stock in the back and not in the aisle we're we can't walk . People are nice,well the ones that know how to speak English. And there stock is low every time I walk in there. Overall ,they really need to get the right people in there.

I am visiting from West Coast and have done business in many Dollar Tree stores. This is definitely the worst location I have been in. There were a large amount of carts filled with boxes of stock in the afternoon.. One person stocking and two employees on register. The lines were very long. Upon inquiring why limited amount of stock was on shelves, the cashier stated we (Dollar Tree) are the busiest one in the area and receive (2) shipments per week

I happen shop here at this store the workers help you to find what you really need. It was the cashier and another person. They have good parking space not big, wheel chairs accessible is allowed , the prices was all a dollar, the place was well stocked of goods, very nice store, I saw couple people coming and going in and a couple was still there shopping, nice store to go. While you are in Bridgeport and looking for somewhere reasonable. I dont know for that week I saw a clean and organized store last November. If they are not keeping it up they need to, so that the public can count on them.

Always a cluttered, disastrous mess. Questionable people roam about here, ghetto is an understatement. Your best time to visit is early...really early. And if you do decide to make a stop into said establishment, make sure that you're not in a hurry.

The store most of the time whenever I go there always looks like a hurricane blew threw it & the shelves are always never stocked & cannot find what I am looking for or can’t Lee the shelves stocked or even have boxes of supplies all around the place too. Overall, they usually have what I am look for & sometimes move around the items on the shelves in there so many times that it confuses the people shopping there on whether or not they may or may not have it because of constantly rotating products around the store.

Great store! You can get everything for a $1 only one dollar. They sold house hold items for kitchen, bathroom, and also for parties,frozen food, snacks, glass wear, plates, cups, hair products, perfume, cologne, bath soap, shampoo, body wash etc. I just love it.

I normally shop at Dollar Tree often, but after today I will not be going back to shop there.The items are a good but there are always long lines and not enough help to operate theregisters. I waited in line with my husband and there was only one register open. Oncea new register opened my husband darted over and was first in line. I didn't want to berude so I went a different way where there was a clear path. A cashier or management Idon't know what position they held would not let me proceed to the new open register notrealizing my husband was almost ready to pay in line. She would not let me go and let 8 to 10 people in line go in front of me from the previous line and register. I was in front of all of them. As my husband was paying I put all of my stuff back and will not return there. Lackof courtesy and not enough help on duty is the cause.

Cashiers are pleasant however only two with long lines. Store stock in the isles many shelves bare. They are losing money with stock in the store. HIRE SOME PEOPLE! TWO STARS FOR THE CASHIER OR THERE WOULD BE NO STARS.

I went here just to buy 4 shower curtains and my only form of transportation is a small electric bike being that I just moved to CT from NY a few months ago;The Assistant Manager wouldnt let me leave it in the front of the store I would have connected it to a pole outside but they are all too big for me to attach the lock I explained to him that this was my only form of transportation and asked why couldn't I just leave it near the carts even tho it wasnt a no bike sticker outside the window and he told me "because thats what I said" a random elderly woman volunteered to watch my bike outside while I bought what I needed. Only took me 3 minutes even if I were to knock something with the bike im pretty sure it would have been no more that $30 IF something were to break. He was very sour and I'm sorry that his hair was designed the way it was maybe he was too hot from how muggy his hairstyle was hopefully you guys can give him a raise so he can get it fixed.

It used to be a great store. Now it's junky and unorganized. Severely under staffed so the lines are always long. There is more inventory in boxes lining the aisles than on the shelves. Why, because it's located in Bridgeport? I think this unacceptable so I won't placate this location. I save myself the headache and purchase from the Stratford location.

Awful store boxes everywhere there is a big risk of getting hurt inside that store. When first opened it was nice and clean. Sadly that's not the case now days. I guess they are waiting for someone to really get hurt, and OSHA makes them clean up their store.

This particular location is on the dirty side. Also it's hit or miss with stock. On many occasions the shelves are empty and the boxed inventory is taking up space in the aisles, but it's convenient for me, so I tolerate it.

This Dollar Tree store is great! The shelves are full and there are awesome Christmas decorations and really nice selection of Gift bags too!
