As a frequent visitor to this store, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of service of it. The cleanliness of the store is impeccable, with everything always neat and tidy, making it a pleasure to shop here.One of my favorite things about this store is their "build your own 6-pack" beer option. As a beer lover, this is an absolute dream come true. With so many unique and interesting beers to choose from, I can always find something new and exciting to try. Plus, being able to mix and match my own selection is a fun and enjoyable experience.Another standout feature of this store is their butcher shop. The meat is always fresh and of the highest quality, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can always count on finding a great selection of meats, including hard-to-find cuts, and the knowledgeable staff is always happy to provide recommendations or advice.Overall, this is hands down my favorite store of the two in the area. The combination of cleanliness, excellent beer selection, and fantastic butcher shop make it a one-stop-shop for all my shopping needs.

Large store with lots of options. Great variety of foods. Fresh produce! Prices are reasonable. Meat is selective with brands. Great deli counter. You can order a ready made meal to take home hot which is great.There are some different types of food that are I can only find here. Bakery is awesome. You can get custom cakes there.Parking is plentiful.

Big y Stony hill bethel was good, the workers was busy in the store packing things around so that customers to help themselves more easier. The store is nicely arranged. Fresh fruits and vegetables, nice flowers. Their environment clean. Nice place to shop.

I placed 16 subs for a party one week in advance and went to pick it up today, not only did they accuse me of ordering only 11, they also did not precut the subs like I had requested. I then went to start cutting the subs, and all of the breads were completely stale. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. Will not be ordering again.

This review is for the pizza counter only. It's the second time I went there and the 2 guys that work there may be in need of a rotation or something. They are VERY unwelcoming, like really bad service. If you can't be polite, don't work with the public.

I always cook for thanksgiving, unfortunately due to surgery recovery this year, I opted to try Big Y's pre-made meal, specifically the Turkey Breast for 4-6 people. I was hesitant at first thinking the mashed potatoes would be from a box, etc. Was I surprised!!!...Mashed potatoes were delicious!!, vegetables perfectly cooked, turkey moist and tender....everyone commented how great the meal was..and reasonably priced!!!...I am now contemplating doing every year.....Big Y, thank you for getting me out of a bind and providing a delicious meal !!!!

This supper market is the very best I go there from Brooklyn NY to shop because the store is very clean and the staff is the best they help with everything I go every two month and the prices are worth the price of gas you feel like you are the only customer because of the staff it should be rated at 100 per thank you

This Big Y has almost everything one needs at great prices. Check out staff are nice and generally helpful. I don't think a store of this caliber should have so many self checkout and scrimp on the number of open check stands when I see the number of Senior Citizens that patronize the store. Also, the plant/flower area for this store is a step or two below the flower area in their Newtown store.All that aside, it is one of our "go-to" stores.Update -Their organic and natural foods area has a variety of items that are hard to find elsewhere close by.

My wife & I who are both in our 30's were shopping and happened to be purchasing a case of beer. (Among another $150 worth of groceries) Without any greeting a manager which we believe was Kim came into our isle and demanded both my wife and I show ID for the beer. My wife did not have her purse. I explained to this woman that I was buying the beer and that I had valid ID. She had it in her head I guess that my wife was underage, which is disturbing (Again we are both in our 30's). Apparently there is some secret store policy that everyone with you also needs to show ID, even though there not buying anything. Below is an image of a sign at each register. "All purchases of alcoholic beverages will require positive ID" OK. I did that. No where does it mention anyone with you needs to also show ID. Also its not practical. (If I'm a father with my 15 yr old daughter your going to demand she show ID or refuse the sale? I don't think so) Regardless of policy, which should be properly listed if you want to enforce it, a manager should be kind & respectful to customers which she was not. When I told her I guess we can't buy it then she just grabbed it and walked away. Wasn't nice about it at all. She made such a scene other isles were watching us. Even the cashier and bagger made comments about it after she left as they too were in shock. We left the store angry and embarrassed. And why is that? What did we do wrong? Also upon reaching out to Big Y I have yet to receive a response to why this happened and why this woman was so rude to us. Why doesn't the store post the actual policy? The lesson learned is unless you are buying beer by yourself and you have valid ID you shouldn't purchase it from Big Y.

I go to Big Y for many things I need, specially when I need a quick meal, they have the best grab & goes! I work all day, have kids and tons of other things to do and cooking a meal in the middle of soccer or swim practices ain’t happening. The Big Y meals are the way to go. Always fresh, always clean, very tasty!What I also like, is the great deals; buy 1 get 2 free or clearance sections etc.I go there for almost everything I need.Totally recommended!

They make some of the best sub sandwiches I have ever had! I mean they are up there with some of the BIG DOG sandwich shops! Definitely worth a shot if you are in the area you won't be disappointed. Generous portions, fresh produce veggies and deli meats, a variety of options and clean. Great job guys!

The sushi at the Big Y in Stony Hill is outstanding! I've enjoyed sushi from coast to coast for more than 40 years and I never thought I'd rave about "supermarket sushi." Pam is always cheerful and an amazing sushi chef! Her rice is always perfect, which key to great sushi. The fish is always fresh and tasty. The presentation is wonderful and the area is always clean and well displayed. Pam, thanks for making my Big Y even better and my 'go to' place for great sushi!

This store is clean, the employees are friendly, lots of options for packaged goods, produce could be better, but it’s fine. I used to shop at this store multiple times a week, but now I only go about once a month (and only buy a few things) because they took away the shopping baskets and charge for bags. I rather go to Whole Foods where I get a shopping basket like every other grocery store in the world, pay lower prices, and don’t get charged for bags. I don’t want to push the cart around and it’s ridiculous that customers can’t be provided with normal things like baskets and bags. And their bags are junk so you really need to pay for two bags for every one bag needed because they will rip if not doubled. The Red Sox merchandise really needs to go too. I am leaving 5 stars because it seems like these are company wide policies out of their control & these things aside, it’s a really nice, clean, well managed store.
