This pharmacy is a joke. Nothing but misinformation and nobody knows what is going on. Was told when we called in a prescription it would be ready on Monday. We went by Tuesday evening and they said insurance wouldn’t refill until 01/20/2024 and told us to take it up with our insurance. Called insurance and they said Walgreens had not reached out to them at all. Went back to Walgreens they said the insurance wouldn’t work because it was out of state insurance. We have Medicaid. We called them and told them we have Medicaid, they said they ordered the script and had it ready. When we came in this morning they said Medicaid wouldn’t cover the script since it was sent over from an out of state provider. Nobody knows what is going on or can give any kind of useful information. My husband is diabetic and they would rather charge him $300 for a months supply of his necessary medication than offer any kind of helpful suggestions

I didn’t expect to be openly mocked during my trip to Walgreens today. The old skinny woman with the short grey curly hair desperately needs some customer service training, or to be outright fired. I can see from the rest of the reviews here that I am not the only one that has had a nasty encounter with her.

This Walgreens is awesome they’re always sweet & willing to help . My daughter tripped on her shoe being a clumsy toddler and Amy came over to see if she was okay. She then came back with stickers candy and a sucker for her! Cheered her up right away! Thank you for being so kind and seeing if my daughter was okay! Amy went above and beyond with customer service . Another worker came over to see if she was okay but I did not get her name!

Takes forever to get prescriptions filled and doesn't do their job. We have been told twice that they would get prescriptions ready the next day and nothing. It's bad to have to got out of town without your much needed drugs. I'm not sure what the problem is at this walgreens but they have a tremendous turnover in workforce. Probably management

Terrible encounter with female employee in cosmetics. My daughters and I came in to use the bathroom after my husband hade just been in to make a $30 purchase. We were chased down by this employee who targeted my oldest teen daughter asking if she needed help with anything in a very intimidating manner. We said we were looking for the restroom. She ignored me and focused on my daughter as if she had done something wrong. Have respect for your customers please.

Awful pharmacy, in the year of transfering to this pharmacy they have delayed and screwed up every prescription my doctors issued then lied to me about everything, tried to charge me $500 for a prescription that costed only $31, changed the type of prescription my doctor gave me, delayed my antibiotics so I got stuck with not being able to recover properly, this time they issued a generic form of ointment that gave me burning, red rupturing hands and ignored my insurance to send in an emergency approval for correct ointment. No one deserves to be treated this poorly and general manager sat there acting like I was a problem after this all, go to a pharmacy who cares as many do and this one wouldnt care if you were forced into an ER from their negligence.

I have been using this Walgreens Pharmacy for years. However I am switching to Walmart now. This Pharmacy is a COMPLETE joke! We need a Fertility drug and it was sent over Thursday they never called me to say it was received until I called my doctor and he said it was sent over. Anyways I go to pick up the medication today and they tell me it's being discontinued!! What! I need to start this medication tomorrow in order for it to work. They had not even called me to tell me this. So unprofessional. I called walmart and they made things right, right away. I will never use them again especially when we are doing Fertility treatments, we need to know when something isn't being called to be filled because this Pharmacy discontinued it.

I have to fill 2 prescriptions a month at Walgreens due to my Medicare Plan d selection. I have also received many immunizations there over the past 8 years. While I feel the pharmacy is consistently understaffed, which I suspect is a corporate staffing decision, a lack of pharmacists, and a lack of pharmacists willing to work in a non urban environment, I am always treated with courtesy and respect by the technicians and pharmacist. It’s helps to be courteous and respectful as a customer and not to be in a hurry. I appreciate having the store in town since it would be a pain to have to drive to Colorado Springs to fill basic prescriptions.

Woodland Park Walgreens is by far the worst I have ever been too. They screwed up my Christmas cards this year four times. They were not helpful throughout that process either. Finally scheduled two medical tests online but they would not honor one nor would they allow for it to take place. I needed to reschedule another test appointment which they had none the same day. Terrible.

My family and I have been using this pharmacy for the past 5 years. I have a son who needs the same medication every month. Like clock work, almost every month, I call to refill and am told they are out of stock. When I have to call, I have to plan on waiting for someone to pick up between 30 minutes to an hour!! Just tried to call again and for 45 minutes, I was told there was 1 caller ahead of me. I called because they didn't give my husband one the medications they were suppose to. He'd already driven off and was almost home when he told me. As I was waiting for my turn to talk to someone one, he'd turned around, waited behind 4 cars, found out what the issue was (they never filled the prescription), and came back 20 minutes later to pick it up!!! I was still on hold the entire time! Several months before this, I met the new "pharmacy manager" and he said he was going to make things better....but it seems worse. It's a shame cause Walgreens use to be easier to go to. If you value your time, don't waste it here.

Cindi who works there was the WORST! She ignored me 3 times, 3 different occasions, each time was worse than the last. I asked politely if the bathroom had a key, and she ignored me, which was fine because she was helping a customer check out. Again when I checked out she overlooked me to help the person behind and then again when I was paying she left the sale to help someone with batteries. Never stopping there again!

I’ll admit, I’ve had some subpar experiences at Walgreens all over the country but this location takes the cake for absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. I haven’t used Walgreens in over 10 years so I had hoped that it would be a somewhat better experience this time… it wasn’t. I went through the drive thru after picking 3 kiddos from school and at the point desperately needing medication after having oral surgery 3 hours prior. The tech told me I could not use Apple Pay in the drive thru so I offered to give her the card number, security code, etc. anything to avoid me having to her 3 small kids out of the car to come into the store. She told me I’d have to come in. The kids of course didn’t want to come in so I locked them in the car, and sprinted inside to pay and pick up my (desperately needed!) medication. I was the ONLY customer and you could tell that they were deliberately trying to waste as much time as possible since I was frustrated already. I even heard them LAUGHING to each other when I walked up the window (processional!). The (I’m assuming) pharmacist? (She has no uniform on whatsoever) repeatedly told me that the drive thru people needed help first despite me BEING A DRIVE THRU CUSTOMER then she kept saying, in a nasty and condescending tone that she “doesn’t even know who I am” over and over I imagine to just belittle me? It made me angrier. I said again that I has 3 small kids in the car (something I told them when I walked inside and while I was in the drive thru) and I needed to get back to them… they als

Literally THE WORST drive-thru experience I've ever had. I went to pick my husband's meds. Was greeted at the window by Kat. She gave me a price if $33.05. I pulled up the GoodRX app and the same meds were listed for $22.05 and of course cheaper at other pharmacies. I showed her the price and she didn't care, didn't offer to ask a manager. She put the phone down to ring up my order. I mentioned to her that the meds were cheaper at Walmart and she mumbled "you can go to Walmart all you want". I told her I heard her remark and she replied "ok, cool" I reluctantly paid for the meds as my husband's needs them. Pretty sure that's my last visit to the Walgreens pharmacy in Woodland Park. Do better people. 👎

I live out of state and needed to send something time-sensitive to a friend overnight via FedEx to the store so she could pick it up there. I called the store right away yesterday before shipping to make sure everything would work out smoothly and was assured there should be no issue. Well, today they wouldn't let her pick up the package. My husband called and talked to two incredibly rude staff and my friend had to wait for an hour and a half. After paying $100 to get the package there, then covering my bases to ensure she wouldn't run into trouble, the last thing everyone needed was to have two rude women on a power trip hold everything up. Awful customer service. Wish I had corporate's number. But I'll bet I can find it.

Walgreens is one of the only places I've shopped in town where employees are actually mean to me. Well, to be specific, the pharmacists are rude and mean. I've filled prescriptions multiple times and had different pharmacists be so flippant and rude it left me speechless. I'm not sure if they just hate their jobs, or what the deal is. The bottom line is that Walgreens obviously fosters a culture within that side of their business where their employees know they can get away with being boldly rude to their paying customers. I will say that the store employees who work in the other areas of the store and who handle check out at the front of the store are very pleasant however. Their pharmacists are the worst in town though. I've also called in and complained about this in the past. It did not help at all. Hopefully the store managers can figure that thing out, because there are prescriptions that I am forced to fill at that store. Then again, maybe that's why they don't care about how they treat their customers. Who knows. I'd go elsewhere if you're able to though.

This pharmacy works very hard to get all prescriptions filled, quickly, even when the pharmacy is extremely busy! They are great at contacting your medical provider, if there are any questions, with the prescription. The staff is wonderful! I have dealt with every person and think everyone is professional and wonderful! I have seen them remain calm, even when facing rude customers. I have been to Walgreens pharmacy’s across the country. This is one of the best!

Unfortunately, going to have to go with the 2 star trend here. Checked in, the lady said was getting the script, 15 minutes later I’m still standing there with no update, nothing. Then after all that they didn’t have the entire amount of pills. And again, 5 more minutes waiting on them to fix. Felt sorry for the guy behind me… below average Walgreens for sure.

Walgreens in Woodland Park has very rude employees! I had my little twin daughters with me and all 3 of us were treated horribly. When we were cashing out the very rude lady, Cindy, heckled me over every single thing I was buying. She was implying that I can not afford what I was buying. Very weird interaction with her. She charged me twice for prenatal vitamins. I went back in to get my money back.. She said a rude comment to me when I walked back in the door. I was shocked by the feeling of being hated. Oh my goodness! Walgreens in Woodland Park is disgraceful. Every time I've gone in there some employee was rude to me. I've given them more chances than they deserve. I will never go back there!

The pharmacist was very friendly and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help me even though I was having problems with my insurance. Much appreciated

While visiting in your beautiful state I had to fill a prescription. This pharmacy was quicker than the walgreens in Tennessee the staff and pharmacist was amazing. They were so kind and helpful. They had to call my doctor twice for verification. Within an hour my medication was ready. Looking forward to returning to your wonderful town someday and when I am in need of a pharmacy I will be back. Thank you walgreens staff for doing your job accurately.

Pharmacy needs adequate staff. Every time I call I’m on hold anywhere from 15 to 30+ minutes. One day I called and was on hold the entire drive to the pharmacy (from out by cripple creek), while waiting for two cars ahead of me, and still on hold when I finally just pulled up to the window. There’s never a line of less than several people both inside and out :\

I understand that staff shortage. I don't understand why my prescriptions have not been transferred. I need them in a timely manner and cannot get them because of staff shortage or random closings. I then request to have them transferred but they won't do it. I am going crazy. No one in the store will tell me what's going on or online.

The worst possible customer service I’ve ever encountered. Unhelpful, unfriendly, and rude both the associate and manager. The associate and manager give conflicting information and conflicting policies. I’ll never be a patron of Walgreens again after that experience. Do yourself a favor and take your business some where else!!

Every time we come here we wait at least 45 minutes in the drive through. Then once we finally get to the window they can somehow never find my daughter's information even though we come every 2 weeks for her medicine. The lady at the window has no answer for me other than there's no prescription here. We have come here every 2 weeks for months and literally every time we come we are sitting at the window arguing with them about the prescription. Then after another 20 minutes they somehow miraculously find the prescription they said wasn't here. Happens every single time, switching pharmacies. Go to city market or walmart.

Ive been going here for 2 years. I call in my refills n wait for the text/call to pick them up, yet without failure i wait around 30 mins to pick up my prescription every time. I also cant count how many times ive stood there waiting and the pharmacist is just standing there doing absolutely nothing. Its not that theres always alot of people in line, its their employees.Go to walmart or safe way save yourself some time.

*Cross-posted to all locations applicable*To be fair, my issues with Walgreens Pharmacy began 1/8 at the Southgate location in CS when being told that my son's medicaid was not paying for his daily meds and there was a $611 balance. I had confirmed with Medicaid that Walgreens was mistaken and not only have the claims been paid but confirmed there is a ZERO dollar copay. At that time they gave him 2 weeks worth of meds instead of a month. This didn't seem like much of an issue at the time but boy was I wrong!!!!Fast forward to today, I'm trying to refill my son's meds for at least the remaining month's worth we should have gotten to begin with. Since the last refill we moved to Divide, but for whatever reason our new closest Wallgreens Pharmacy in Woodland Park is stating that they can't refill what's considered a partial refill from the last and that I'd have to get it refilled at the old Walgreens a county over. I called said Walgreens and they said they would fix it and I could still pick up in Woodland Park since it wasn't actually a partial (I guess someone thought 75 was a good number smh)Go to pick up the meds and low and behold they're charging me and running secondary insurance instead of Medicaid. All it would have taken was a call to medicaid to straighten this out but that wasn't offered by the lead gentleman pharmacist until frustrations were already sky high. I paid for my ZERO dollar copay just to be done with this situation.Considering out of the 3 people I spoke with 1 of them was in that office, so they knew before hand there was something special about the refill and perhaps thinking outside the box would be necessary. There really wasn't any effort made to try to remedy the situation and this was my first experience at our new Walgreens. First impressions can't be redone, and thanks to this fiasco we will be going to Wal-Mart from now on for our pharmacy needs.

Scheduled an appointment for COVID vaccine at 2:30 pm. They are one of the few providers listed as having Janssen. First they say they've been out of the vaccine for months. Then I mention that their online scheduler has several appointments open, so they should probably fix that if they don't have it. Then another employee comes over and says that it expired today. It can't be both. Either you've been out for months or it expired today. And spoiler alert: if you have it, it didn't expire today because the expiration date of the Janssen vaccine was extended

Cashier thought it a good idea to ask me when I went to check out "so this is essential huh" . Glad your the essential police. Little do you know I still have to work also. However I go to a prison everyday and contain your worst nightmares. But hey thanks for you judgment lady whose name is not on my receipt. But was apparently a lead of some sort.

The pharmacy staff is severely unprofessional. They dont call you back when your prescriptions ready so when you got to get it you get sassed that you should have gotten it weeks ago. No you should have done your job, you know that thing you get paid to do right and then theres no problem. I dont beed to be belittled for your failure to call whilst picking up my script. Thank you. Pharmacy techs acting like doctors. Psh. You took a 16 month course and now your god. No thanks. Just do your job and not be a grumpy unhappy dried up lady alright. Easy enough.

What’s the point of making an appointment if you’re going to be waiting until they feel like they have time to take care of you ? Over 30 minutes in an empty pharmacy
