I cannot express how helpful and knowledgeable the workers were at the West Portal Rental shop. They went above and beyond by adjusting my boots, setting up BT in my helmet and answering my many questions. Most importantly, they did all this with efficiency and kindness. Jace even escorted us to the storage facility. I’d recommend to any skier, beginner to advanced.

This is basically the Taj Mahal of Ski Rental Shops. The dazzling staff were so intelligent and good looking that I decided to upgrade to high performance packages (with the damage protection) for me and my entire family of 14. It was well worth it. Now I can ski exactly like Henrik Harlaut. God bless West Portal Rentals!

Had some trouble with boot sizes. Two times they tried to have me go up a size and the fronts of my feet / toes went numb. I had to ski back down with poor control. When I was getting refitted I was told the boot fitter made a mistake sizing up.

Staff was so very helpful 2/04/20. We had to rent gear "after Our Ski's snow board, Boots, Helmets, & poles," Were all lost on the trip up here from the Airport. The staff over heard our conversation and stepped up to the plate, being very helpful getting us set up, and the Shop MGR even gave us a rely! GREAT birthday present on the cost. What could have been a very bad week started to turn around Because of the staff . THANKS AGAIN.

Absolute most trash bike service I’ve ever received. I paid $50 to have my tire changed (I know I know) and the mechanic didn’t even tighten my through axle. 2nd run the axle comes out, messes up my rotor and scuffs my inner triangle bad. You’d think for $50 the mechanic could at least torque the axle but I guess he couldn’t be bothered. When I confronted him he tried to make it seem like it was my fault and that it happens all the time. In the 10 years I’ve been riding it’s never happened but I guess when you can’t do your job properly it’s a common occurrence.

Rented defective ski equipment. When I fell the ski binding did not detach and I broke my leg. Then I developed a subsequent blood clot and almost died. $200,000 in medical bills from detective ski rental.

Great place to start and finish your day on the mountain. Used the lockers ..bathroom..cafeteria...elevator..ski rental...and ski storage..also got our skis waxed here

Very RUDE and not helpfulStay away from this place, lots of other choices.The system allowed to book a class, didn't informed about 48 hrs in advance ski booking policy. They even REFUSED to refund, offered resord credit (I am here for an afternoon and never coming back). Horrible experience. Ruined the whole vacationJo

Wanted to rent ski but was turned away because we did not reserve skies 48 hours in advance. I suggest going into town to rent skies.
