I have to say my family was so excited to end our day here for a yummy dessert. The place it’s self it’s super chill and cool atmosphere. The employees are wonderful but what I don’t understand is why EVERYTHING is mixed in with the peanuts . It’s 2024 and so many people suffer from peanut allergies. It broke my heart having to watch my son burst in tears and leave. I wish Charlie’s had more common courtesy. I mean at least a separate sprinkle container.

I've always enjoyed stopping by Charlie's Frozen Treat Shop due to their fresh ice cream and fun ice cream flavors, so we asked Charlie's to cater the ice cream bar for our February 2024 wedding - Jeanne was a pleasure work to with, they had an awesome selection of flavors and toppings (also many lactose-free and gluten-free options) and it was a hit with our guests. Thank you, Jeanne and the Charlie's Team! :)

My family and I came to Charlie’s for the first time and we loved it. The ice cream taste so delicious. The staff are really friendly and I love that they except dogs. Definitely Coming back.

The owner is an amazing person! We were in town for a ski trip and accidentally forgot our bag at the store. The owner kept it carefully and returned to us on the next day, and he even offered to treat us ice cream! The ice cream was delicious and the people were really nice and diligent. We would love to come back next time when we ski at winter park again. Cheers :)

Got a waffle cone but the kid that was serving apparently decided they were running out of ice cream so it was basically a littke kids serving. Ice cream itself was decent.Don't ask for anything outside this kids wheelhouse.Overrated, fairly priced, with very little selection.

This place is great! The delicious smell greets you as you walk in, the displays are fun and it seems like a higher quality than normal. The shop was exceptionally clean and the people there were as friendly and happy as can be. Pricing was very fair.

My kids and I stopped in yesterday and the owner was working. She is a lovely person and chatted with my kids for a while. She had a great smile and has pride in her business. I love that you can have a small sample to make sure your kids are getting what they will like.

Pretty disappointed with this ice cream store. I got a chocolate, cookie-dough malt. It didn’t have any cookie dough in it at all so it was basically just chocolate and couldn’t taste any malt. The ice cream was about what you could buy from a store and make a malt yourself and probably do better. Location is the sole reason for their success, In the middle of Cooper creek village with no competitors. Also, pricing is pretty poor for for the quality and amount of ice cream you receive. The 4.8 star rating on google for this store is very inaccurate and should be lowered accordingly based on the ice cream solely.I will end this by saying that I like that it is locally owned and the service was good and friendly. I wanted to give 3-stars for that, however, ice cream based it definitely fell short.

This is my new favorite treat shop in Winter Park! I called asking what their ice cream cake options were for a birthday. Jeanne let me know they didn't have ice cream cakes but offered ice cream pies that you could create. She proceeded to send me different pictures of some popular choices. I was able to customize my own pie all for an affordable price! When I stopped in, I picked up from dog fro-yo which has hit! Thank you for all of your help, the pie was delicious and everyone loved it!

The best thing about this place is the doggos snoozing on the floor, and the Adirondack chill chairs outside. The soft serve frozen treats are not going to compete with upscale scoop shops, but everyone can choose their toppings, so nobody is going away without a brain freeze and a smile. And there are lactose-free options, which is a plus. If you're lucky, you can eat your treat while nodding to live music just yards away in the plaza. You won't remember the ice cream, but you will remember the experience.

We hired Charlie's Frozen Treat Shop to provide the dessert for my wedding. They made over 100 ice cream cookie sandwiches with three different cookie/ice cream combinations. They were a huge hit and delicious! The best part of working with them was that they were so personable, accommodating, and proactive. Jeanne even stopped by the venue the day before the wedding to make sure we liked the buckets the cookies would be placed in. I would highly recommend them for any event!

Such a cute shop!! My husband and I were in town for our anniversary and mentioned it to the owner. She gave our dog a bone for free - it was so kind and made us enjoy our ice cream even more. Will definitely be coming back to this adorable ship in the heart of Winter Park!

Beside how cute they place is, and how great all the ice cream is, the owners are the nicest, sweetest, cutest couple ever. This place is fantastic! Their flavors change regularly, so you never know what you're gonna get, but there's always something good. They're got a wide variety of toppings, as well as popsicles. If you're in town, even in the winter, you've gotta stop by this family owned ice cream shop.
