The REAL Chicago style pizza… “tavern style”… square cut, thin, and crispy… right here in Westcliffe! The gang’s all from Chicago, so they know their stuff. You’ll see the Hawks stuff from the moment you enter. Only pizza delivery (to my knowledge) in the Valley. Love their fried pickles and cheese balls as well. Wait staff can be a little out of their depth sometimes when it’s busy, but they’re good people. Definitely recommend a stop in. Constructive criticism (if I had to): Just wish they used a bit more toppings for the price!

Stopped by Chuds for lunch when visiting the town over the weekend. The food was amazing - the Chicago Dog was properly messy and absolutely perfect and my friend loved her gyro. And the side salad was probably one of the bests I've had - good lettuce, actual cucumbers and tomatos in it, not just some icebug with shaved carrots like you typically see these days. And the service was fantastic, the owner (I think?) clearly cared a lot about their food and was great at giving recommendations. Definitely a hidden gem in this little Colorado mountain town and if I'm in the area, I'm definitely going back. I want to try their pizza next!

Flow in to Colorado and had a long drive. Made a stop to grab food and was so pleasantly surprised at how amazing the burger was, clean environment and pleasant Employees. I mean In and Out burger has nothing on this! Honestly best BURGER 🍔 I have had in years. WOW

I didn't think that breakfast can be better than breakfast. This place blew my mind. Looks like plain old eggs, sausage and hash browns, but the flavors and prep was unbelievably amazing. Not sure what they feed those chickens, but those were the best tasting eggs I have ever had. Got them prepared over medium and that was done to perfection. Culinary school level. Not a second under- or overdone. The sausage was amazingly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. I have never had them prepared this perfectly. Flavors stood out too. You can tell the hash browns are not ordinary.I did not get paid for the above. Was just randomly passing thru town and randomly walked into this place. Service was also incredibly friendly, perfect timing. This is one of those local, best kept secrets that you wish to find every time you go on road trip.

Chuds! What a place! They serve all 3 meals! I've been here a couple times and was hooked in by the gyro and then tried the pizza and then I had breakfast at Chuds as well. I definitely recommend everything about this place. The food is amazing! This small town has some big food here at Chuds. Open the most in town, most consistent and nothing is microwaved! Unlike other restaurants in this town. Thank you Chuds!

The pizza is thin crust New York style. Not Chicago style. The pizza is horrible. Sweet and tastes like melted cheese left over from the Mac and cheese burger grease. We left the pizza.The chicken strip were great! That’s why they got 2 stars.

Wonderful place. The service was over and beyond. They let my kids pick what to put on the tv since it was an off time and there wasn’t anyone else there. The food is amazing. Enjoyed it very much.Kid-friendliness: So nice to the kids. Took extra time to interact with them and put a special movie on for them to watch. So kind.

Really Good pizza but you should consider cutting it like a normal pizza instead of in squares it makes for some pretty small pieces, like 1 bite. The frys were cold and old the 1 and only time we got them, but that is what you get if you wait till they are almost closed to order! The staff is the reason I keep going back, I order for take out and the girls will call me or text me when my order is ready... love this little local gem. Sad it's for sale!

Had a wonderful lunch. The cheese balls are amazing. I highly recommend them. Actually I recommend everything on the menu. Great service and great food! Next they need a liquor licence!!!

Came here for breakfast and it was pretty good. One girl was running around taking orders, bringing out food, cleaning the tables and ringing people out. She was very efficient at everything and very friendly. Breakfast was decent and there was a traditional selection of food. Pancakes were pretty good and I’d recommend getting them.

Chuds is a new addition to Westcliffe. A decent place for a quick bite to eat. Burger and fries, onion rings, pizza, Chicago Dogs, sandwiches, salads and desserts.

Went Friday for the first time with 2 people. Went again Saturday with 8 people. I’m from the Chicagoland area. This place is as legit as it comes. Worth the hour drive from Canon City even if I have nothing else to do but pick up one of these pizzas. The Italian beef meat is proper and delicious. Gonna go back asap for a gyro based upon how good the pizza and beef were.

We were in Westcliffe for only one night and decided on Chuds for dinner. Although the pizza was slow in coming to the table, it was excellent and our server had given us advance knowledge that they had an influx of pick up orders ahead of us so we were prepared for the wait. We asked our server what "Chuds" meant and she said Come Hungry Under Dark Skies. Which we loved, being amateur astronomers! My advice would be to advertise this, as it definitely added to our enjoyment of the restaurant! Putting it out front might attract more star gazers!
