It's a wonderful restaurant with lovely people who work here and are very attentive to their customers and treat them well they have all kinds of goodies here as well as soups and pastries that are made locally the only thing that I could say wrong. You can't tell if they're open because their open sign is pretty sketchy. But inside is very comfortable and great atmosphere

Wonderful little restaurant! I had the half pound burger and my wife had a BLAT and they were delicious. Wonderfully friendly place and very unique. We didn’t have room for dessert but their displays of pies and pastries were too good to pass up so we grabbed some to go. If you get a chance stop in here….you won’t be sorry!!

Surprisingly delicious and amazing food. Can't believe how delicious the food was, the ladies were extremely friendly. My fiancee is vegan, and they had a great Beyond Burger which was superb and a couple other options.The brisket fries, oh baby.Great job!

This is the most beautiful lost gem. My boyfriend and I have passed it once to see what kind of place it is and then we came back to check out the villa trade and we really liked the atmosphere and the friendly faces. Love the food, and the local art work!! Also check out the primo and the shop across the street. Love to help as much as I can.😎😎😎😎

The food was great! My wife and I both stopped here for a breakfast burrito and I can't recommend it enough!Food: 8.7/10Service: 9.4/10Bathroom: 3.7/10 Needs a lot of work! Dirty, no soap and no paper towels.I'm not going to dock any points for that though because everything else was clean so it might've just been a busy morning. Definitely give this place a shot of you're in the area!

I have been looking for a good Hamburger for a couple of years, locally. This place is worth the travel. 43 miles from home, and worth the drive. The Mushroom and Swiss Burger was very, Great! As was the French Fries . I will be back, next weekend. Well worth the trip.........

After being on the road since early AM, we needed a bite to eat and something warm to drink!The barista makes wonderful latte’s (I know right?! A don’t blink town with a great coffee!)The burrito was TO DIE FOR!! And the breakfast bowl was also delicious!Well worth the stop!

We can't comment on the food or service, but we stopped by today (Monday) for lunch, only to find the place closed. The sign on the door said it was open Thursday to Monday. There was a big red flag saying it was open. But nobody there. Two signs on the door saying restrooms are ONLY for customers and anyone parked wrong would be towed away. Not a particularly welcoming place.

Stopped here on the way up to Denver and had the most unexpectedly amazing food! The BLAT (BLT with Avocado) was so delicious. Crunchy thick bacon, toasted rye bread, crisp tomatoes, just the best BLT I’ve ever had. My husband had the burger and it was excellent. The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and coated with coarse salt. Delicious! We will be stopping here again on our next Colorado trip!

Hidden Gem!Don't miss an opportunity for great homemade food and unique, handmade gifts. We picked up a beautiful pitcher and salt and pepper shaker along with a couples sets of winter gloves that are more comfortable than the ones we picked up at local outdoor store.Highly recommend

I stopped by here to charge my phone, and I decided not to be a moocher and get some food. The banana bread was perfect, it had a great taste, a great texture, and a great price. I took a look at the menu, and there were many appetizing things priced lower than they would be at most restaurants. The restaurant has many great decorations, and the staff members are very friendly. I live rather far from Villa Grove, but I hope that I can come back some time.

Wish we would have stopped sooner! Awesome high quality sandwiches (gorgeous fresh veggies, thick cut bacon, fresh baked goods, amazing sweet potato fries with lovely flake salt) and weirdly delicious drip coffee served up without pretense or high prices. Also fun unique finds like art, used books, etc.

Stopped in for a bathroom break and was very surprised! They ask that you buy something to use the restroom, so we bought some pie. The bathroom was SUPER clean and the pie was OUTSTANDING. The whole place smelled delicious. Next time we pass through we will be eating a full meal there for sure!!

Omg this place is such a gem!!! I can't believe we found such a great restaurant by chance in the middle of nowhere. They have vegan pies and cinnamon rolls, and a delicious vegan burger as well as coffee! I wish we could come here every day!

Don't let the exterior fool you. Although the front of the "General Store since 1882" may not have been visited recently, the back of the store is staffed by a kind and enthusiastic family who make really good food. Loved their buffalo chili and okra.

On a day trip to pagosa springs and came through this small town and villa grove trade. Wonderful service and food! Biscuits and gravy were delicious,the menu was well stocked with options to choose from. Portions were good and the prices are great! Would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and we will be back again.

I make it a point to stop in every time I’m driving through if I’m hungry or not! I’ve had a burger, grilled chicken salad, chicken tenders and bites of my partner’s philly cheese steak and it’s all been spectacular. Best coffee from Crestone to Salida and I’ve tried a few! And to top it all off it’s run by the kindest family.

This place is amazing! They have cold drinks and warm food. The food tastes amazing and the staff are super friendly. They are really accommodating with allergies. It is a great quick I stop for a meal during a long drive.

OMG...what a hidden gem! We were just driving around the mountains and came across it. Excellent food, a wonderfully friendly/polite staff. We watched how they treated everyone who walked in. It was a wonderful experience.
