I was appalled by the behavior of the staff here from front desk to the management. You should never make a customer feel the way they made me feel today. I had a great friendly interaction with the staff with no complaints until a lady with no name tag came charging at me aggressively yelling at me for something I didn't even do. I was thinking she was mistaking me for someone else. No explanation or introduction whatsoever. She came and just began yelling at me because my husband left a bad review that I had absolutely no idea about on a survey emailed to him. I told her that the way she approached me is no way to approach anyone and she should have at least introduced herself and explained the situation kindly helping me to understand her demeaning behavior. Maybe she could have even asked how she could have made my husband's experience better. That's what mangers are supposed to do. Managers need to deescalate negative interactions and turn it around to satisfy their customers and increase company productivity. Why are you asking me to fix my husband's honest review of freedom of speech? Why are you trying to cause me to speak on behalf of my husband's actions? You need to fix your behavior and customer interactions. I was flabbergasted that she would approach me like this. I am so very upset at the behavior of this woman named, Lisa, and if you couldn't take a review my husband left kindly, then look at the camera from today and see how you approached me and ever so kindly fix you behavior-please. Learn to try to treat people with dignity and respect and show professionalism and honor for your role as manager. Learn from you mistakes and do better. This is a learning opportunity for you and your staff. That is the whole point of a review. If it goes to cooperate, then take that as a learning experience and see what they have to say to help your team. You call yourself a manager, but if that is how you act, and you are supposed to be a leader, then of course people have to go one step higher to see if someone above you, understands the role of having a management opportunity and in turn will correct your behavior. For anyone reading this review, please be aware that overall this is a good company and I have enjoyed purchasing pets from this company at different stores, but I am never shopping at this location again due to how the employees and management treat their customers. Very disheartening.

Neat and clean place! The doggy bakery cabinet is so cute! The selection for all animals is great! I will say I think that some items are more expensive than say pets mart or petco. But the betta fish had bigger bowls than usually what they are sold in. And the animals that were for sale there looked extremely well taken care of, happy, and clean.

The main lady that helped us changed our minds about the food we where serving our dogs we Will try the fresh no grains hope it helps! They have a couple bays for dog wash ask about punch card for wash! Just ask the question and if the person helping you doesn't know they will get someone else to help very polite staff! See you all again

All the employees are great here. You're lucky to have them working for you. I want to send a special shout-out to Meemee. I haven't been in for a while yet she remembered me by name. This is impressive. Thank you for the great customer service. I highly recommend this place for your pet needs.

Store was a mess and there were boxes of stuff all over the aisles. employees could work on customer service skills.They had 3 different sized leopard geckos in one small cage. This is incredibly dangerous and can lead to injury or death. Reptile carpet is horrible as it harbors bacteria and can rip out nails and get caught on their toes which can then break their toes.Bird cage was a mess and the ferrets had no food or water.

Be aware if you go here and they send you a survey dont do it, dont leave your phone number or your email or any details because they will stock you. A got an email for a review and I put that the lady a the counter did not want to take my coupon and the next time my wife went in she was aggravated by a lady a the front named lisa, asking why I had left a review for corporate saying that I should not have told them anything and verbally abusing my wife. All I said in the survey was that the lady at the counter did not want to take my coupon heck she did not even look at my coupon I didnt even leave a bad review on google but now I am because Lisa decided to go off on my wife because i said they didnt take my coupon , if your store doesnt want feedback then dont send me any surveys and be aware that they store your credit card information that is how lisa was able to find out I was the one that said they did not take my coupon wich they didnt from the credit card info that she looked up that your store has saved. I feel that is very unprossesional to keep my credit card info stored on file, I will never be coming back her again and I will let everyone know that Lisa will harras you if you give any feed back or complete a survey and be aware they will keep your credit card info. I advise everyone to go somewhere else

Cashier was on the floor and I told her I was ready to check out…she was friendly and cheerful and asked if I found everything I needed…I really appreciate sales people who are happy to see their customers. The cat food and accessories are varied and priced just right. The Thornton store is close by my house so I like to go there rather than Pet Smart

The nutrition and space set for the parrots, no matter how small the conure, was disappointing to say the least. Solely seed diet and small enclosures for each bird. If I were to pick up a parrot here I would probably have my hands full of vet appointments and bills right off the bat to undo the side affects of malnutrition.

All around terrible experience. Groomer at this location rescheduled 2 times for personal reasons and on the third time finally mentioned we had to bring documents we didn’t know were required from the get go so she asked us to reschedule again. I will be taking my business elsewhere and warning others of this flaky groomer. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable groomer instead.

Needed tiny crickets got em no problem . Also a fresh pouch of catnip, cat treats .... a a growing fresh greens" kit also for my feline friends.. thank you Pet Supplies Plus Thornton.... courteous and friendly staff. 😁

Awesome pet store!! SAMIE, in the animal department, was one of the kindest & most knowledgeable people there! All animal enclosures were spotless and the fish tanks looked amazing!!! Our groomer JACLYN was amazing, so clean and shiny! Not going anywhere else now! Thank you Pet Supplies Plus!

The first time i came here the workers were all talking and no one working ! That’s disappointing. I washed my dog here. It was also not great. They provide shampoo and towels. But nothing else. I have been to better place that provides more what they offer. Also the shampoo bottles were dirty full of other dogs hair! Ugh! I think they need to do better.

Bought a bag of cat food here and it made my cat throw up twice and now he wont eat the food. Wouldn't let me return or exchange the product. I'll just go back to shopping at petsmart if this is the case.

We were so excited to have this pet shop because big name stores have so much turn over and your favorite people leave. Unfortunately the staff at this location have zero customer service. I would not recommend any pet parents to this store, they do not care about your pets, and they do not care how much money you have spent they will treat you like you're expendable. Well you lost another customer. The owner/manager was incredibly rude as well.

Pet wash station cost almost double what it does it downtown and you have to purchase your own brushes as well where as they are supplied for free at other locations . Staff was friendly, Just drive to another location and save your money.

This is the only place you should be going for pet supplies! I always have to go to several big name pet stores to get everything I need. And even then i can't get everything. This place has it all! They have a great rewards program and the employees are always happy and willing to help. Best customer service hands down. I will never shop anywhere else.

Great pet store, fantastic selection and very nice staff. The self-service pet wash is awesome, they provide everything you need and make it a seamless service. They also have weird and odd toys that my dogs love. I highly recommend this pet store if you are in the area

I am a regular shopper here for my pet food and everyone has always been very helpful, nice and welcoming. When checking out they gave me ripped five dollar bill and I asked can I get a different one but she closed the drawer so she went to grab the manager and the women manger on 9/11/2023 at 9:30am refused to help her employee and told her to tell me they can’t reopen the drawer. I asked if I could talk to the manger and the manager stormed to the back and then came back to the front and rudely handed me a five dollar bill saying next time they won’t be able to help me if the drawer is closed already. I know for a fact management is able to open the drawer at any store and the fact she was so rude and seems to treat her employees rudely changed my mindset on this location.

Editing my review on 9/15/23 from 5 stars to -50 if I could.My wife sent me in to pick up the dog food she ordered just like I have 20 times before. The gal working the counter tells me I need ID and the purchasing card to pick up the bag. I explain my wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant and sent me to pick it up. She goes to get help (turns out to be the owner) and everything is fine up to this point as I figure once I show the confirmation email, she looks up my account and sees were both on there, and sees my ID with the same unique last name, everything will be worked out. Even tried calling my wife to help out.She comes out dressed all in black, mouthful of Cheetos, Cheetos bag still in hand, covered in Cheetos dust, and tells me my wife called "and specifically said they need to confirm ID and purchasing card when the bag is picked up" which was a BOLD FACE LIE. (it was a free bag from a coupon, there wasn't even a card number on the receipt). She proceeds to shove a handful of Cheetos in her mouth, wipe her hands on herself and pick up my ID with the same grubby hand. I tell her my wife wouldn't of called in and said that, then send me down to pick it up and also asked if she could not touch my stuff with her Cheetos fingers all very calmly and as respectful as I could be in the disgusting situation.With a mouthful of Cheetos she starts yelling at me and telling me "she's on her lunch break, not being paid to help me(YOURE THE OWNER), and that I'm not leaving". I told her I'm leaving with my dog food whether she likes it or not and that I didn't appreciate her disrespecting me and lying to me. She loses it's runs off and tells someone to call the cops. I yell after her that she should probably treat people with respect if she expects it back.So I step outside for ten minutes waiting for the cops... nothing. Go inside to confirm if she called the cops... nothing. Finally I go back in to make one more attempt at resolving the situation but instead she continues to yell and scream and be the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. So efff this place. Spent thousands of dollars here but will never step foot in it again.Absolutely disgusting behavior by the owner. The rest of the staff was calm, cool, collected and most importantly, respectful. They even reached out to my wife to apologize for the appalling behavior of the owner. Laughable right? She could definitely learn a thing or two from those kids about professionalism and respect. To the rest of the staff present, sorry you had to deal with that scene, hopefully she treats y'all better than the customers.(Previous review) Nice store with good deals and helpful staff. Seems like the animals they keep in store and well taken care of too.

This is only directed at the grooming department and staff. I loved this place the first few times I brought my dog in for grooming then the cancellations started sometimes the same day as the appointment. Even then I continued to reschedule with them because of my initial experience with them. Today 4/19/2023 I took my dog in at 11:25 for a full groom. I was called at 1:27 that my dog had defected in the kennel and he had to be re bathed. She then proceeds to tell me he now has an open wound on his nose that he did not come in with so the groom will need to be rescheduled. This is 2 hours after he was dropped off and all that had been done was 2 baths. I don’t question my dog did that to himself but what is frustrating and unprofessional is that if he did it was because he was in the kennel for so long. The young lady said it happened after 30 minutes of being there.. ok let’s say that’s true why wait another hour and a half to call me? I never like to leave reviews unless they’re good reviews but I am beyond annoyed and frustrated with all this.
