Small but lovely accomodations; the location is incredible, but the amenities are the real star!! We enjoy bringing our dogs, grilling out and cooking in our private kitchen, and bird-watching from the hot tub!Nearby activities: Very close to Wolf Creek

I cannot say enough about how great this place is. We stayed for a two week vacation, and it always felt like home. The owners, the staff and even the guests are so welcoming. The entire place is highly maintained and their attention to detail is above the rest. Of course, the fishing is always great, and so many things to see and do, all within a short drive from the resort. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Do not recommend. Tanna owner accused my family which I stayed Aug. 2023 in Big red cabin. Not Aspen. I was held accountable for the family that stayed in ASPEN cabin. I emailed her to clarify that she made a mistake and that I did not want to be held responsible for some other family’s actions. She didn’t respond to me after replying to her accusations. She accused me of having pets and that they chewed their furniture where I don’t own any pets, unless she is calling my children pets. My kids are older. I’ve stayed there multiple times since 2021 and never had an issue, now Ms. Tanna is blaming the wrong family.

One off the worst places to stay in Southfork. It is cheap but comes with a price. The owners were really racist to Hispanic family's. They only want elderly customers in their property. Do not recommend if you have kids . Bad place to stay if you want a good family getaway. Not recommend. "Tanna" owner will try to respond to an honest review to cover up her wrong doing. False advertising. Cabins not as prompted. Beds not clean as they should. Smell not pleasant inside cabin, House keeping poor.

Reserved cabin for 9/22/23, paid half upon res and the other half on check in. Stayed for three nights in the Columbine cabin (should have been four). We left a day early due to the bed being garbage (took pictures of mattress and all other furniture in the cabin) and the couch next to the wall was totally garbage. They advertise as refurbished, not sure of the year and if recently done where did they get the worn out trash they put in the cabin. I asked for a one night refund, not the entire stay as I stayed for three nights and I should have left after the first night. I talked to the lady in the front office and she said she would relay the issue to the owner but would do nothing as not her call. Obviously there will not be a response as this is 9/29/23 and I have heard nothing. I expected more but was not surprised by there lack of caring and no response. I do not care what the policy is, you advertised wonderful and we got disgusting and you want people to pay for that?????Never again will I stay in their facility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed in the RV campground. Very nice. Good washrooms and showers and we enjoyed the hot tub.Cool that it was the site of the National Lampoon's Vacation movie 40 years ago.

We really enjoyed our stay here, everyone was very friendly. Always something going on. Jack, the campground cat was so friendly, kept stealing my husband's chair. He came by every day for a visit 😊. Cell service was good. Wifi spotty at best.The pull thru sites were the biggest down fall, very, very tight! If you do the buddy set up it gives you a bit more room. View of river and walk were really nice.

Stayed here 2 nights in a truck camper. Beautiful location with great views. Sites are gravel with modern connections. Wifi is available, but is spotty at times. Cell service (ATT) was poor. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean! River right next to the resort. Great owners! Would definitely recommend and I will be staying there again!

By far the best camping experience I’ve had in a long time. Tent spot #1 was right next to the river and was super relaxing. Woke up to the sun and the beautiful view of the mountain. Best sleep in a long time. After a bump that stopped my trip back to Arizona I was to tired to drive and was able to get a tent spot. Neighbors were super nice and welcoming. Will most certainly be coming back here again!

After a day of skiing at Wolf Creek, the hotel we had originally booked informed us that their hot tubs were broken! We did a search for nearby accomodations, and fortunately came across Riverbend Resort. They were super friendly on the phone, and had the Rainbow Cabin available. It was exactly the kind of place we enjoy - rustic, but cozy and welcoming. They have bird feeders set up, so it was fun to watch all the different birds coming to visit. They have a bird feeder set up on the porch of the cabin and provide bird seed so you cann feed them yourself if you want. The cabin even has an indoor fireplace! The hot tub was right around the corner so we could soak our sore selves, then ten steps took us inside for an evening by the fire. In the morning, the view of the river, with the birds enjoying their breakfast, was a absolute treat to wake up to. This will be our new South Fork go-to place to stay!

Don’t expect to be staying at the Ritz, but this charming little cabin hotel is awesome. The view is to die for, the accommodations are adequate. If you’re staying here, it’s probably for what’s outside and not staying inside. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi is poor but usable for calls/email. Brings me back to simpler time in the 90s.

I cant say enough of praise and appreciation for the people at Riverbend Resort. I have been attending a big group snowboard trip to Wolf Creek and Riverbend is our go to. It's so accommodating and the cabins are the best place to wind down after a long day on the mountain. Our group has expanded we now rent multiple cabins and I can't wait to go back.

This may have been the most well stocked kitchen we have ever seen at a rental unit. The place is so quaint and cozy! The owners really take care of the place and you can tell. They plowed their roads very early in the morning after a big storm so everyone could hit the road and get some fresh laps. Our only complaint was the bed was a tad firm for our preference, but for price to value this place is very hard to beat!

We stayed over the Spring Break for few days with kids while in search of snow. The owners are extremely nice and helpful in any way. The cabins were perfect. There is everything one would need, and with lots of fun stuff to do for the kids and adults outside. We will be definitely staying here again in the future.Edit:From first time staying 5 years ago, this became our yearly winter vacation spot. 6 years in a row and counting. Riverbend Resort is BEST!

The Riverbend is my my absolute favorite place. The cabins are cozy and clean, and you can’t beat having a fireplace in every cabin. They have movies and games available to borrow, and the views are amazing as well! The staff has always been welcoming and helpful, and always make it feel like a second home.

What an awesome stay. Reasonable rates, an AMAZING property right on the river with lots of room for the dogs to run, and great fishing right out your front door. Generous check out times (noon) and very friendly staff. The fish cleaning station is very clean and the residents are generally very friendly. Decent verizon signal and hit or miss ATT.

Friendly owners! So beautiful after the snow! I felt like I was in winter wonderland. Great distance from Wolf Creek Ski Resort, only about 18 minutes. Perfect for a short trip for skiing and relaxing. Not many food options in town so the kitchen was nice.

Just enjoying our stay so much. Cabin overlooking the river just so relaxing. Same view to the setting where the original movie National Lampoon's Vacation was shot. Resort so friendly and clean and great people with a beautiful dog now run it. We will definitely set our sights on coming back again. This review written by the author of 'The Reckoning of Rance' and 'Last of the Knowers.'
