Pretty overwhelmed about the positive reviews and how completely opposite our experience was. The staff was fantastic and accommodating and while I loved the boutique hotel aspect the execution just wasn’t there for me. There’s no AC as expected but our room was right on the corner so any open window also came with every bit of the towns noise. The music bass from the lobby added to the noise. While it didn’t go super late, it was late enough for those of us who are early to bed/ early to rise. And there is no TV to help drown out any of the noise (purposefully, I know) but the WiFi didn’t work either for us. The heaters in the room clanked ALL NIGHT despite me turning the heat off. The room is small and not a suited layout for multiple people. There’s no bathroom vanity so you’ll brush your teeth, do your hair, makeup, etc. with the kitchenette sink and barely any room to undress in the tiny bathroom, where the hot shower water will last for about 58 seconds. While the room was clean, the rug in the bedroom is noticeably filthy. All in all, I think this stay was my least favorite on our trip and I’m at the very least annoyed that we spent so much on the night stay.

Hello. I stayed at this hotel. Found a halfway burned American flag on my bed with a note that said "If this is America, it's stupid". I cried for several days. How can they say something like this to me? They knew I was American and that I love America more than my 3 dogs. I almost brought Red, White, and Blue to the hotel, but they didn't accept pets. Guess they hate America and freedom. Whose with me guys? I gave a humongous tip because I'm rich. Got to meet other rich people. Made me more rich. Almost killed a whole schoolbus of children but that is a story for another time. Listen, bragging away. Got to go write a nother review now. Loved this hotel.

This used to be a wonderful destination for off road vehicle riders making a loop from Lake City. One of the best loop trails in all of Colorado. Maybe THE best.One of the koolest historic hotels in colorado. One day ride through the mountains, stay at the Wyman Hotel, have a great dinner and breakfast, one day mountain ride back to lake city.But no more.The selfish and business-loathing voters of Silverton voted to BAN all OHVs. This despite the fact that the previously open route which was confined to less than a mile of the main street caused these friendly folks to say they were offended by the ATVs that were nowhere near their residences and only on a paved street (no dust).This hotel always got high reviews. 5 stars from me. But the local "necks" cut off a HUGE source of the hotel's revenue by BANning us OHV lovers. No more OHVs. Big cut in revenue -> must cut costs any way possible to say alive.So they don't want us near their town. Got it. I won't spend another penny in your town.Time to renew your SNAP card, locals.

We had an amazing week long stay. I stepped foot inside the lobby and immediately felt at home. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. My room was cozy with a comfy bed, it has a luxurious feel and Aesop soap! After skiing it was super relaxing to come back and take a long steaming hot shower.It was easy access to tons of skiing. The day I had to work I setup at the lobby table and it was quiet with a nice view.The bar at night had a cool scene, lots of interesting people to meet; people in town to heli Ski, Ski guides, and locals.I am looking forward to my next stay at The Wymam!

We spent one night here as we were passing through the area, but what a cute little gem of a hotel!! The front desk folks were so nice and accommodating, and our room was large, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the free goodies inside (we arrived late and nothing was open in town), and the cute decor throughout. It was also nice to have an electric car charger outside so we could plug in and get going right away in the morning. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area--hopefully for a longer stay!

Bar has great cocktails and the vibe is like you are in your living room.thebold fashion and paper plane were made with a defy touch, and our bartender Rowan knew what she was doing. We stayed at the Wyman with our friends and family this past weekend for our wedding in Silverton. We have all just been beaming over our time here. The hotel is needless to say, absolutely beautiful but the kindness of the staff makes this place feel like home. We couldn't have asked for a better location to celebrate our marriage with everyone we love and can't extend enough gratitude to the Wyman. Can't wait to be back for another visit!

Went for drinks at the bar, the owner was working the bar. He was very friendly, welcoming, and funny. He also shared a lot of the unique history of Silverton with us. Beautifully renovated hotel. Drinks were delicious. Was one of the only places open in town during the evening. Don't believe the hours listed on Google for most locations in town. After about 3pm the train leaves and most of the town shuts down. One or both of the breweries may be open, but that's it. Was nice being able to sit at a proper bar and have a cocktail.

I came and stayed at the Wyman in mid December and it was quite and beautiful. The staff set up contact less check in which was easy and comfortable during Covid. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to my room. It was simple , clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. A nice touch with a french press, with good coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. My only regret was that I was alone (for work) and did not get to share the experience. I will be back with my wife for sure.

I haven't personally stayed here but the last two times I went through Silverton, the Wyman Hotel was a gracious host for an afternoon glass of wine or a lovely outdoor music event. The owner is great about making you feel welcome, in fact, during our first visit is when I was getting married. Even though we weren't hotel guests, he allowed us into rooms to take photos in this gorgeous place. Next time I go, I will be staying here. The hotel is beautiful, staff amazing and kind and the views can't be beat.

I just stayed at the Wyman last week and it was by far one of the best stays we've had in the entire state of Colorado! The hotel is so intentionally set up. A modern, minimalist clean design. The rooms are spacious + super clean. The bathroom has Aesop products, so lux! One of the best showers I've taken, it has one of those rain shower heads. Every room has a view, can't beat that. The bar/lounge area in the lobby is such a cool little spot to hang out and relax after a day of adventuring in the mountains. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. So easy to talk with and you feel like a local when you're chatting with them. Hands down the best place to stay in the Silverton/ San Juan Mountains area, will 100% be coming back to stay. Could not recommend this little oasis in the mountains more!

My husband and I stayed at The Wyman for 4 nights last week and loved it! The decor is upscale without being pretentious, and our room was very clean and cozy. The wifi was fast and they have really good coffee available, both of which were important to me since I had to work remotely in the mornings. We were also really impressed by how helpful and friendly all the staff was. It was the perfect hotel for us to use as a jumping off point for our biking, hiking, and OHV adventures.

This hotel is AWESOME. It brings such a lively, cool vibe to the town of Silverton, while still keeping historic charm. The owners and staff are incredibly accommodating, there are thoughtful touches in all the rooms, and delicious coffee every morning! Not to mention the beautiful views. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area!!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Wyman! We went with some friends for my husband's birthday, and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is beautifully appointed - a cool older building that has had a modern (but not too modern) facelift. We loved all of the amenities, from the easy check-in to the re-usable water bottles in the fridge to the rain shower head to the amazing soaps, shampoos and lotions (which I will be purchasing for my guest bathrooms), and so much more!Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a fantastic weekend! We hope to be back in the spring or fall.

My lady friend and I stayed at the Wyman this past February—we were in town to ski Silverton. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel. The owners and employees are lovely. The rooms are immaculately clean, comfortable, chic. We love the bar & lobby where we met fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Hot coffee every morning. Awesome breakfast burritos to stay or to go. Excellent selection of wine. Perfect location for skiing Silverton or exploring the San Juan Range by summer. Looking forward to our next return.

Not only is this the most beautiful hotel for miles, the staff are kind and easily accessible. Everyone is so friendly. The rooms are bright and clean and I wish my home was as cozy as The Wyman. Their attention to detail is impeccable. The only bad thing I can say is the bar is too welcoming it’s hard to leave to get out and explore the mountains. If you are in Silverton, there is no better place to make your home base.

Where to begin with all the kudos for the Wyman Hotel?! The Wyman is one of our most favorite venues in Southwest Colorado - being nestled in the San Juan Mountains and such a special gem highlighting the quaint town of Silverton. Our clients have had wonderful experiences with hosting their wedding and elopement celebrations at the Wyman. Their staff is knowledgeable, helpful and so resourceful and I don't even know how to sum up the stylistic experience of the hotel's hip and charming spin on Wild West charm. Highly recommend a stay for a romantic get away, girl's weekend, ski holiday or your wedding or elopement!

I've stayed at The Wyman Hotel a few times and every time it was outstanding. The first time I was with a few friends on a business trip and the Shane(owner) took us out on a few ski trips during our stay. The second time I was a solo traveler and had a chance to meet a few other guests who were also staying at the hotel and we all went out on a big hike to a mountain lake. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating to ensure all the guests were well taken care of. I look forward to the next time I can stay at the Wyman.

As a locally based mountain guide I haven’t yet experienced the Wyman lodging first hand as my own bed is just down the street.. The bar however is the best in town, with kind and interesting staff, a great wine selection and- it’s swanky enough to wear a dress! A true gem of silverton. My clients who’ve stayed there always rave about the cool rooms, classy decor and welcoming vibe.
