We arrived into town late and checked into our hotel, we were starving and the owner of the hotel recommended the Golden Block Brewery. We arrived to the restaurant probably around 30 minutes before closing and they welcomed us in and served us. Very appreciative of that.We had cheesy bread sticks with the house garlic sauce, they were amazing! We shared a 12” pizza and was able to do pepperoni on one side and beef and jalapeños. The pizza was delicious.Highly recommend this place.

Wow, crazy fast service. Even during the lunch rush we had 6 people seated in 10 mins. Pizzas were to the table in just a few minutes too. Also very tasty beers and friendly staff. Happy to have a place like this around, will be stopping in next visit.

We took the train from Durango to Silverton, wow, and someone recommended this spot, definitely not a disappointment.staff was great. We ordered oven brick pizza and it was delicious.. something about the sauce. I didn't know which beer to pick soooo I ended up ordering a flight.. I mean when in Rome, so glad I did, easiest way to try them all! We also had the caprese salad, yum if that's what you like. Oh yeah and if you like merch, they have a few items. The hats look better in person.

Golden Block Brewery has an EXCELLENT pizza! My server Natalie was amazing, friendly and prompt. The place was clean and pretty busy for a Tuesday after Labor Day weekend. 5 golden stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I will be back!

Food was good. The server in the other hand was extremely rude and gave us horrible service!!! To top it off he gave himself a 20% tip. Normally would tip that but not for that horrible service.Over the other staff was nice...

Staying in Purgatory and headed N to Silverton late afternoon and for dinner. Pizza sounded good and glad we chose this spot! Got the Tree Hugger and the Lead Sled with mushrooms....Great dinner! 😋

Great service and fantastic food. We stopped here for lunch after the train ride from Durango - they get busy fast when all of the passengers disembark! Their pizza was REALLy good - specifically the crust and sauce. I would highly recommend the scottish ale and their kolsch beers, too.

The food was amazing. We tried two different pizzas and the caprese salad. Prices were fair, service was great. Everyone was friendly. It was busy at lunch but we didnt have to wait long for a table (about 10min) and our food came out super quick.

Wood fired is my favorite but this wasn’t cooked long enough too melt the cheese or warm the sauce. The cheese bread had potential but the way they packaged it in the to go box they stacked it and it ended up soggy. Probably could’ve been better if we ate there but we have our dog and had to eat it at the house.

Fantastic pizza, quickly and expertly done in their giant dedicated pizza oven. Nearly offensively right-wing signage about no one working anymore. so tip those that do BS. Bierbrewers have no idea what "unfiltered", "IPA", etc mean. However, even though the bier was mislabeled, it was still tasty.

Food is great, pizza has nice flavor and crust, however server was not too honest. We were a large group so I expect tips to be included in our bill and asked the server is the tips already included, she said yes and had the 18% already selected. When I got the bill I found out she double charged me tips. With the extra 18% she preselected. After we asked the bill to be corrected she handed me the pre tip bill and again pre selected the tips. This time 25% I let her had it but I would not come back here for the dishonesty of the server

Great selection of beverages, great pies, excellent service in a charming setting. I tried the Chinese pie (switched the chicken with mushrooms) and it was delightful. The tree hugger pie was fresh but it lacked a kick.

We were not greeted for a while after arriving, however they quickly remedied that problem. I was with a large group so we ordered 3 pizzas. We ordered the Lead sled, Snow Cat, and the Day Hiker. I can fully endorse the Snow Cat (which was the groups unanimous favorite) and the Lead Sled. Personally the day hiker was too artsy fartsy for me. Crusts came out prefect and was a delightful atmosphere.

Good food and solid service! Came in late on a Sunday as it was almost the only thing open. Was served quickly despite the house being packed and both the pizzas and salad were fantastic. If I was local I'd probably be a regular.

Why is the worlds best pizza hidden inside a brewery?!?! I know everyone is probably reading reviews here to find out about the beer, but we drive up for the pizza! It’s a little expensive but worth it. Real wood fired oven.

This brewery had a nice, classy ambience to it. The stout was awesome. You could definitely taste the chocolate and cherry notes as mentioned in its description. We stopped by for a brief drink during happy hour. Our server was very friendly.

The pizza was great. My boys gobbled down the pepperoni and my wife enjoyed her gluten free margarita pizza. I had a panini which was excellent. We aren’t beer drinkers so I can’t comment on how the drinks were.

The service was fine, the food was fine, but the amount of food you get for the price isn't fine. When you're getting half a sandwich for between $7.50-$10, that's not right. We ended up walking over to Avalanche to buy the rest of our dinner. We aren't overweight or carb-loading or anything; we were just trying to get a normal dinner.
