Easy to book and check-in. I spoke with Nancy, who is a fantastic human, about making a change to my reservation. She was kind, professional and attentive. She was able to add an extra night for us, despite the high lodging demand in town.The stay was warm and comfortable. Good bed. A hot shower was a welcome start to the morning considering the morning temp was 14FVery happy with my stay. Happy to book here again.

This was my second time staying at the Canyon View in Silverton and I will be back again. I came to ski and watch skijouring in town over Presidents’ Day weekend. The rooms are clean, staff friendly, and really close to grocery store and everything town has to offer. Has a little fridge so I could keep leftovers. Super convenient for loading gear from car to rooms.

Super cute motel! The owners are so friendly and very accommodating. They let us switch to a lower level room because my old dog was having issues with the stairs and checked in on us several times. Rooms are really clean & nice! Will definitely come back

Nice motel in an amazing setting. Had an initial issue when arriving very late in the evening with a very exhausted family. Nancy was very quick to apologize and immediately got someone over to the motel to make sure everything was worked out. Given the time of night, she did everything she could to get everything back on track as quickly as possible. Thank you!

SUPER!!! Clean, spacious room and bathroom ! I especially loved that they are animal friendly. My pitbull loved all the attention and free biscuits. The view is spectacular. The owners are just the sweetest people you could ever meet. Just fab... highly recommend. My kids loved it as well, hard to please a 16 and 11 yr old.

The room was clean and quiet you dont hear your neighbors. the owners are attentive we we saw them every day we stayed there. The owners take time to ask if you need anything. This is very nice to experience some one that cares if your stay is great. The plus is the pet policy allowing your pet to join you for free...Thanks for the great time

Really enjoyed our stay at Canyon View Motel. The owner went the extra mile to help us with details of activities around Silverton. Room was clean and neat. Simple. No WiFi, has basic TV channels, but who needs that when you are in Silverton. Only suggestion, add small shelf in bathroom to sit toiletries. We will stay there again.

After a full day of riding the Durango-Silverton train, taking the bus back to Durango and then driving back to Silverton, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The room was only 60.00 including tax. This was a very large room and bathroom plus a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, wifi, cable, and a beautiful view! I was there during the May storm of 2014. We received about a foot of snow. The bed was the softest I had slept on during my trip from Dallas. I must mention that I always carry a single mattress cover that makes beds softer for when I travel. I stayed for 3 nights and slept like a baby every night. The owners were very kind, informative, and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more!

Tried to rent a day but they wouldnt work with me. When i asked if they knew any hotels that would they gave me the name of 2 hotels that were shut down. Thanks for wasting my time, I was serious about renting for a day. But Ouray Chalet Inn took care of me.

The only place that I'll stay in Silverton! Joe is super nice, the rooms are clean and reasonably priced. A great no BS motel run by honest people.

Inexpensive, clean, and big rooms. Easy access from the main road, and right next door to convenience store and liquor store. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.
