A very interesting place, more than we hoped for but not your average hotel. It's more like a giant bed and breakfast. Breakfast is not prepared but Lupe keeps the fridge stocked with quick and easy breakfast foods and drinks. The building is super cool and old and welcoming. The rooms were warm and the bed was comfy. Most bathrooms are shared but we did have our own. Lupe was awesome and accomodating. It's a blessing as the only option to stay in Sedgwick.Walkability: There's a bar and 3 dispensaries all within easy walking distance.

I'm not even sure where to begin.... Lupee was an amazing and knowledgeable host and so enjoyable to visit with. The hotel itself was more than a place to stay, it was an experience!!!! It truly was like walking in to a time machine.... Each piece of antique furnishing added to the aesthetic at every turn! We truly enjoyed our stay!!!

Lupe's Inn is a very cool, unique experience. It's like taking a step back in time. The up side to this is the chance to explore the entire building, which has been decorated and curated with care. The downside is that the comforts are a bit rustic, but that is to be expected.I especially appreciated the full breakfast spread in the morning! Everything from coffee and tea, to oatmeal, fruit, and waffles. It was the best breakfast I've had at an Airbnb and it was MUCH appreciated during our long road trip.Oh! Pet's are welcome here. It was really fun for our pups to sniff around and play in the yard that is just a few feet down the street.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool experience, especially if they want all the historical and inside scoop from a friendly host.

I can’t tell you enough how much I love it here. Lupe was the sweetest lady and all her guests are polite. We got stranded here after our car broke down and we drove to the closest “town”. Found the inn at the recommendation of the budtender across the street. She has a great rate, comfy rooms, clean, well decorated. It’s in an old building that used to be a bank. You’ll share bathrooms with the other guests but I didn’t notice. She has breakfast nook and will offer you any food you need. It also has a huge basement with a TV. As well as a garden. It’s beautiful and perfect and I can’t wait to stay again. It feels like a dream or a fairy tale!!! Stay here you won’t regret it!

My husband and I stayed here New Year's Eve. It is such a unique motel, decorated in beautiful antique furniture. The motel has so much history. The owner, Lupe was so friendly and willing to share the history. A must is to see the basement and the old vault. A museum full of treasures. Thanks for the great stay Lupe!

This place is a true gem... I spent time here on 4/20/19 as well as 8/25/19 and both times left me smiling from ear to ear with an over flowing heart. Lupe (the owner and host) is truly an incredible woman. She is kind, generous, and funny. Bob is also an amazing soul! We spent all morning with Bob talking about life and I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else! I cannot wait to return to Segwick & the Inn.The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked and friendly. The bathrooms are shared but you would never know. The guests and staff are very respectful and personable. I really cannot say enough good about this place. I wish I could spend another week out by the garden, enjoying the happy shack and spending time with new friends.Thank you to all involved 💚

Whether you are staying here to relax, for business, or recreation, you will find what you need. Comfortable, clean rooms with shared bathrooms (there are plenty). A kitchen area with basics and coffee. Beautiful deck & outside seating area to enjoy the refreshing air and sunshine.Ask about the history of the building--there's an endless list of stories attached to this nearly century-old small town gem. There's decent pizza across the street, as well as a garden store with snacks, a salon, and a cannabis dispensary.Highly recommended destination.

I rarely give 5 stars, but I'm not going to spoil the perfect rating! What's this about a game room in the basement? When I was there in 2018 it looked like a yard sale from the 70s. We enjoyed looking at all the stuff tho.No TV, internet or cell phone data, but I think that is part of the business model. It was a very unique experience and the MOST relaxed and friendly place I have ever stayed. The bed was amazing! I have chronic pain and I didn't wake up all night. The sativa may have helped, but that bed inspired me to buy the softest bed I could find and it still doesn't compare.Ms. Lupe was a nice hostess. Please have a stay so she'll be there the next time we are passing through!

I have not stayed at the Inn. But can't wait to do so some day! I met Ms. Lupe at a campground in South Dakota. I didn't know her, but I asked her to braid my hair. I was on a motorcycle and my hair was a nightmare. It was one of those magical moments in life when you meet someone your soul likes a lot and time slows down. I'm sure the Inn is fantastic but Ms. Lupe is reason enough to stay there. Everything else is just a bonus. ♥️♥️

Very fun and unique place great for the family price is per person but is was worth it no taxes FYI just the price she quoted you on. The beds were antiques but the mattresses were new and very comfortable. The owner is very nice and is proud to show off the property there is a lot of history in this place that used to be an old bank that has a lot of the original items still in it. I love reading other peoples reviews that were saying bad things what do they expect for a building that’s 100 years old. The rooms are very cozy and there’s always food for the guest I recommend to stay on a Thursday and head across the street to the bar for poker night where you will meet a lot of the locals who are very friendly and nice. I have never been there before and within 2 feet inside I already had 4 people introduced them selfs to us. Good pizza and drinks very family friendly there are activities for kids to do while the adults have a fun time. You will meet Ginger while your there A very loving sweet dog who will treat you as if you were his owner. The hotel was very clean and smells good someone complained about not being able to smoke there on the reviews if you want to get high go for a walk around town so you won’t stink up the place. This is the kinda place where if your into history, antiques, quiet and a safe fun old fashion family activity. Not lay around and get stoned there’s a motel 6 down the road for that. I highly recommend this place there is a lot to do in the hotel go explore and eat in town. make new friends or utilize the fridge and cook something and read a book from the 1920s. Or watch some movies. Town is very safe and quiet.

I can't offer a 5 star rating because we didn't end up staying at this place. However, the staff was very friendly, honest, and tried to be accommodating. I found it using Google maps and it has a great rating and good reviews, so my Dad and I thought we might stay a night to break up a cross-country drive home. It turned out that rooms are on the 3rd floor, no elevator. I broke my ankle earlier this year so that just wasn't going to work. The staff recommended continuing on to a larger city ahead of us. Under different circumstances, I probably would stay at this cozy little place!

Lupe is an amazing host, and she's put together the cutest little spot. She's absolutely generous, knowledgeable about local area history and interests, and has a wonderful smoking area outside. So quaint and nice ❤️

Stayed there on a cross country road trip last October. One of those off the beaten path rare gems.Sedgwick is a very small town in the upper eastern corner of Colorado. The Inn used to be a bank in the 1800's. There are common areas downstairs where you can relax or watch TV. Snack and breakfast area for your every need. The basement has a game room. What used to be offices are now very comfortable sleeping rooms. Shared bathrooms were spotless. Antiques and quilts everywhere you look. Lupe, the proprietress, is great to talk to. Would love to go back and stay again.

Loved this old building with so much charm! Steve and Tracy run this place and we felt as if we were home! With a dispensary across the street and a small local bar! Great place to escape from the world for awhile. If you need the Hilton, keep driving and well wishes! Love Colorado💚😈

The Inn was easy to locate, not far off the 76. There is plenty of parking. Rooms were located on the second floor and a decent size. Some (if not all) had personal sinks. There are four bathrooms located on the second floor. There is a wonderful garden on the side of the building. Service was wonderful. Amenities, like towels, toiletries, and other bathroom supplies were provided if needed. The owner is very sweet and accommodating.

Had an amazing stay a couple years ago. 420 friendly in seperate smoke room. Everything was antique. We were aloud a dog at the time. Was so thankful for a place to stay and it was just so cool with all the antiques. A must see. Signed the book. Thank you

I was on a big ride last year heading to Rocky Mt Park and found this gem at the end of a long day riding. I didn't go to the café since it was closed but did go to the diner out by the interstate which was very good with a comfortable small town feel. Price is very cheap and the place is a throw back to simpler times. If you are looking for modern keep going. But if you want to sit with other guests and locals on the patio and chat this the place. I will be there in a couple weeks if all goes to plan.

Hosts were extremely welcoming and warm. There was hot water in the shower. A refrigerator was available for use and there was breakfast in the morning. It has a very rustic feel and is in an old bank. Good price.

An oasis in an expanse of nothing for miles and miles.Stay here, do not fret, you will love staying at Lupe's house! Warm, inviting, comfortable, clean quiet- don't drive to the chain hotel, you are too tired. Don't go to that Bugget place down the road, it is icky. Originally a hunters lodge but now a BnB. This place is huge. Really. Nooks and crannies everywhere. If you need alone time you will get it. If you want to hang out and chat, Lupe is lovely for chats. This is where you need to stay if you are in Sedgewick. Make sure to explore the basement to see some sweet antiques and the Furnace! There is a dispensary is across the street but if that isn't your cup of tea, don't worry, there is no smoking in the house. There is a place out back for that. Everyone is repectful and by everyone I mean the three people you won't even see.Lucy's with the red roof just a few minutes drive has all the delicious fresh homeade real food and pie! (Closes at 8p)No there is no wifi- but if you need it you can hop across the street and use the dispensary wifi to update your map.
