A unique coffee shop. The decor is eclectic and beautiful. The staff were very nice and the smell of breakfast burritos being made were outstanding. A great way to start the day walking around beautiful downtown Salida.

Woke up at 7 from our condo across the street, barely awake, cold. Walked into Brown dog coffee and the barista was welcoming and ready to start my order. Had 3 delicious coffees in a carton tray in no time flat to walk back to my friends at the condo! Very happy travelsDietary restrictions: One friend ordered oat milk and the barista didn't bat an eye! It's great having dietary options.

This is a nice little coffee shop serving homemade pastries, a limited assortment of hot sandwiches and some ice cream. Order at the counter, eat in or take out. No table service.

Love the interior and lighting of Brown Dog Coffee. I recommend the Espresso Shake.The couches are comfy if you are just want it sit and relax.Ice cream is a nice treat on a hot day also.

Really good coffee, very stiff but not bitter. Very tasty chocolate marble cake as well. The location, setting and wait staff is great.

This was a cool find. Brown Dog has a nice vibe and ambience. Weird thing to point out, but I love the ceilings, they have kind of a western-saloon look. The service was excellent, I can't remember the barista's name, but she was memorably friendly and was an absolute boss at managing an extremely long line. Burrito was delicious, coffee well above average. The coffee was slightly expensive and the place was packed, but that's forgivable for such a nice experience.

A great place to start your day! I look forward to going here every year while on our annual fishing trip. The coffee is great, pastries are excellent, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

Great little coffee shop downtown in Salida, we tried a few different coffees and some of their baked goods (the coffee bread was amazing), reasonably priced, and great service. they also have a ice cream bar inside,we didn’t try this time around but for sure will be back for more coffee and try out their other goods.

Great coffee shop in Salida! It was a little pricey but very tasty. I got a white mocha and a cinnabun, 8 dollars. Anyways, sat in the corner for a bit and found it has a cool vibe. The staff was friendly and fast! They also serve ice cream and other treats as well! It's an old building with a lot of history. Very cool spot!!

Unfortunately, I was super disappointed. Not only with the price, but I ordered a regular iced latte with no flavoring added. I was served basically just milk with a tiny bit of espresso. Then after telling the barista it was too light for me, I asked for an extra shot to darken it a bit - which I then had to pay an extra $3 for. So basically, I paid $9 for the most bland latte I’ve ever had. I had high hopes going to this place as I love trying to new coffee shops in Colorado. However, I learned my lesson and will stick to my favorite ones with rich tasting lattes.

Nice coffee shop in Salida, CO! We came for a mini ski trip and had a morning to visit the downtown area. Stopped in for a snack. I had a White Chocolate specialty drink... very good.
