I purchased 2 items that were on sale (a discount of $15 each item) when I went to pay it rang up full price. The worker didn’t have the authority to override the correct price. So she kindly asked if I could come back in the morning and the manager would be able to do a price correction. I triple checked the sale was correct and the dates in which it was on sale were accurate. I go back the next morning and the manager Alyssa didn’t know how to proceed with the transaction. I left my products and receipt there for to her to figure out and returned later in the day. She then gave me $15 of the $30 owed back to me.The sale tags had been removed that were there the night before. I explained to her that still wasn’t accurate and she continued on that if I could prove it was on sale she could make it right. I knew I should have taken pictures of the sale signs. You can never count on getting something on sale here at the accurate price or to be able to use a coupon. It never works. And I was made to feel as if I was in the wrong. Very poor service today! I shop here often for convenience and will make the further drive to a different store. Managers could definitely use some additional training!I will also add, in the same purchase I attempted to buy an additional item and the cashier said it wasn’t ringing up and that it was probably not checked in correctly so she couldn’t sell it to me. Complete mess!!!

Not as inexpensive as you might think. Staff was helpful. I do not recommend using to drop of FedEx if you can avoid it. The pickup wasn't for a couple of days which we were not alerted to.

Best customer service I have had in ages! More than 2 employees and a manager were eager to help me with price checking, I asked about discounts and also held up their line for a bit and no stress or rude commenting. Clean but cluttered up a bit during a peak time sale. Highly recommend going!

I am not a very big fan of places like dollar tree and stuff. But I am very satisfied by the prices and the quality. Very nice. I will be returning:) and the cashier with the blonde hair is actually the nicest person I have ever met. She was very kind and wasn't rude at all. I know she probably wont see this but I thank her.

Good prices on most items, if you can find them ~ sometimes the same item is located in two or three different places in the store. But overall, they have a good selection...other than produce and meat you can get most grocery items here. And it's a lot closer than Wal-Mart.

Small grocery type store. Has many basic staples cleaning supplies, medicine, cosmetic, pets and groceries. They do have coolers with milk, eggs and cold cuts. And a frozen section with ice cream and quick microwave stuff.

I had to forxe myself to leave lol....i spent almost double what my "on a whim" budget was supposed to be. So no more shopping for me for a few weeks. :( anyways, the store was clean and organized. Staff made it obvious they were following me but whatever. I will be going back as soon as funds permit.

This is a great place for those quick trips when we dont want to go all the way into town. Most stuff is fairly reasonably priced and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

They closed 10 minutes before their closing time. I needed a last minute emergency and they put a struggle on our small grocery store by selling random similar items and awful cheap China made item. Shelves are typically unorganized with things falling over into the aisles.

This store is one of the best Dollar Generals in Southern Colorado. Always clean and well stocked, and I always find unique items I don't see elsewhere.

The older lady who works on 11/8 was extremely rude and she was checking me out and no one was ever at the register when she walked up there she had a really bad attitude

Store looks like it never gets cleaned & the morning staff are the most unfriendly people. Take the extra few mins and go to the florence location.

Prices were listed one way and when I asked about pricing of items I was told diff. Price, the cashier was very rude to me and my wife. I will never spend money there again.

Customer Experience is really bad in the evenings when there closing I think they need to treat people better when needing to get in there to shop for Baby Formula and other supplies like food anf goods to feed there familys in Penrose Colorado

You would not believe what is packed up in this store it's a large store but you'd be surprised what you can actually buy their with out going to big Box or large grocery or even Walmart

Rather drive or at least go to this one in Penrose than the hole in Florence. Better everything. From customer service too selection.
