I wish I could give 10 stars.I had an emergency with my sweet dog. I live near Denver(I am from alamosa) and drove all the way down just to bring him here.This will be my vet from here on out.Carla was so kind when I called crying begging for helpsThe city vets wanted 6-10k or for me to give up my dog to a rescue for surgery.I called here and they told me to get in the car to bring him down and they could help me.AND THEY DID.The vet talked to me about everythingI was in tears and Carla told me she would take care of him when he was out of surgery.This is the place to go. They actually CARE.I am forever grateful for this practice. My dog would have died without them.This is your vet. Look no further. All I can do to repay them for their kindness is give a raving review, and that’s just not enough.Thank you, thank you.

I have been taking my dog and cat here for two years and couldn't be happier with the service and affordability. Carla has been extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with! Saw a comment about this clinic being filthy. It is run ragged by only two incredible people. I can tell you from personal experience that quality is the most important thing in regards to veterinary care.Brought my cat to Alpine emergency vet. $1000 later they almost killed my cat. Even after bringing her back in as she was very sick post emergency surgery. Alpine dismissed her and her opened incision they improperly closed TWICE. Called and left multiple messages about her worsening condition, and still to this day have not been called back by them.Called Monte Vista Veterinary Clinic after hours on accident thinking I was calling Alpine for a third or fourth time. As I was leaving a distraught message they answered my call, rushed to the clinic to see my girl, and saved her life. She had to have another emergency surgery, two different antibiotics, etc. All due to Alpines gross negligence and dismissal of my baby.What did my emergency visit cost with Monte Vista Veterinary clinic? $120. 10% of Alpine price for 100% better quality of care. She was better within a day, and has been rapidly improving ever since.Thank you both for being so incredible!

Our cat was suffering from hypothermia and had trouble breathing, and we got turned away because they were "busy" and we "needed to make an appointment". Thank god that the Alpine veterinary hospital was very accommodating and took care of him right away. If you have an emergency situation I would not recommend going here.

We have taken 3 of our dogs to be treated for cancer in the past few years. Very supportive and caring staff, and they have great emergency services. We drive from 2 hours away just to get excellent services..

Affordable spay & neuter services. Nice shop cats (is it a real country vet office without a resident animal??). Never met the doc for our spay but that's ok.I have a background in vet & human medicine so I felt comfortable with the lack of pre- and post- op instructions but it makes me worry for all the folks who don't.My recommendation is to ask lots of questions if you haven't had an animal fixed before, because they don't automatically provide them.

Such an amazing clinic. Has helped us so much with all the stray rescue kittens we have found. Got then back up to prefect health and striving! They also are very budget friendly never had paid more then $100 for our cats

We were in South Fork for vacation and our corgi ate something he shouldn’t have and got quite sick very fast. Called the clinic and Ms. Carla got us in that day, they put Gus on an IV and meds right away. She kept us updated on his condition regularly and 2 days later he was ready to go and back to his happy corgi self. So very thankful and grateful for the excellent care that Dr. Warren and Carla gave him.

Carla is so personable and helpful. I love the old school feel and management of this place - they don't try to charge you an arm and a leg for everything and they are very caring towards your fur babies.

These are the nicest and most caring people in the valley. They have helped us through euthanasia of beloved pets as even just minor issues. These are really the most welcoming and professional people in the valley. I wouldn't take my pets to anyone else! Nothing but good stories and interactions here, they are all truly amazing.

We've taken our mutts here several time since moving to the Valley and they have always given us wonderful service. One of our puppers had contracted parvo at one point and they were great in helping us get him back to full health. They're well priced and will work with you on major vet bills.
