I shop there pretty often but this is the first time I bought a fried chicken that had five wings, two drumsticks, one thigh, and two breasts, for a total of 10 pieces which which consisted of a bag of 12. I suppose the cook a two of the pieces, 🤔😋

Stopped there randomly being conveniently close to a friends house. Ended up buying steaks I didn't even come in for to grill. Great meat department good prices. Staff was personable. Would definitely go back.

Great little place! Nice to still see little independently owned shops like this still around. They have a great selection and still have cheap prices for all the goods, this place may be small but has lots of product, and the staff is always helpful too!

When ever we are in town we stop in and shop at Overland Foods. The entire store is full of exactly what you need AND you are supporting a small business. All there items are high quality and and very reasonable prices, take a look for yourself and you will see what a pleasure it is to shop there.

I often shop at Overland Foods since I live only a few blocks away. The meat department is especially good, with nice, fresh cuts availably every day. I find the place to be very handy, even if they don't stock everything I might want. However, I'm not too pleased with one of the staff members. Margaret needs to go, and soon. She should have been retired a long time ago as some of her behavior is is inappropriate and sometimes downright mean. As an example, I ran into an old friend in the parking lot a little less than a week ago. We were very glad to see each other and were chatting it up as old friends will do. We didn't even have a chance to shop before, for no apparent reason, Margaret decided to run us out of the store. We left, puzzled. I think that management should be made aware of Margaret's irrational and unpredictable behavior. It is not appreciated.

Great local grocery store to shop at! Good selection and easy to navigate around inside also open early on week end mornings. They have a great meat selection and an in house butcher as well

Way overpriced, minimal produce selection and what is there is near expiration, frozen foods well past expiration date, $12 for 4lbs. of Purina dog food… who is out here supporting y’all??Also, if you try to go in there with a service animal, they will try to demand to see your paperwork, which is a direct violation of the ADA, and is against the law.

The store doesn't feel the same without the red haired individual that would wear anime shirts and chat with customers like an old friend. That checker made the market so friendly and they will be missed by so many of us who had grown used to chatting with them everyday. They were always positive, respectful and made everyone feel at home. Sad we didn't get to say goodbye to them.

If you are looking for Dollar Store-like brands, this is the place for you. It has the national food brands that you’d expect and I’m not going to mention. Overland could step it up and bring in healthy organic brands. That would be progressive and maybe open up their customer base.

The best store in Overland! It's also the only main grocery store, but it's a great place! They've got a deli and hot food. There's a pretty good selection of produce. Pretty much any common household ingredient is hidden somewhere in the store. Friendly staff and it's right along the Poudre Trail and River if you're biking West!

We like to stop in here after going on a long hike, it's become a sort of habit. Staff is friendly and it gives you the sort of nostalgic feeling of how grocery stores were when I was a kid. Don't change that anytime soon please.

A tad pricey, but most people who work there are very friendly. It makes for a nice place if you have to grab one or two items, but is fairly small for regular grocery shopping.

Great local grocery store! They have a little bit of everything. We stop in when we can, prices are reasonable. The place is just like a mountain grocery store. Could use a cleaning and some updates but great service. Friendly people and fresh food!

This is by far one of the worst run businesses I have ever encountered. The employees are treated like crap. The owners only care about making money and thus never buy anything new for the store. The management is completely sexist against male workers. And to top it all off the equipment is all original and barely passes health code. With some money and better management this place could be a stable business for Laporte but until then it will just be the ghetto grocery store with obscene prices.

Excellent small town grocery store. Great burger patties. Nice meat selection. Farm fresh produce. The quality of most produce and deli items are up there with Safeway or King Soops.

This place is not great for produce and the checkout staff will shout at you rudely if you wear a back pack in the store. But if you like kitsch retro setting not meant ironically you will enjoy the ambience for sure. Check out the "videos since 1986" scroll on the front window. They have all sorts of weirdness at the deli counter also such as marsh mallow salad.

My grandmother recently passed away.She was a resident of laporte for over 62 years. & shopped at overland foods DAILY.. She believed in supporting local businesses for she was herself a business owner.After my grandmothers passing, the family continued to shop there with rudeness from all morning employees.They even asked us to leave with out just cause & refused to allow us to purchase groceries..We have never done anything wrong to this business & their actions are cruel & without reason.I advise everyone to drive a few extra minutes to cheaper prices & professional employees.

It's close to where I live, but you have to be careful you aren't getting old or expired food items. Prices can be ok, but some are high. Meat department is great if you special order something.

Have gotten home with expired goods way too many times to continue shopping here, even living 100 yards down the road I will go elsewhere. Staff is friendly enough, but this place needs a good cleaning.

Super convenient and very friendly staff. Deli, meat and veggies have some of the best deals in the area. All of the dry foods and nonperishable are really overpriced but the convenience makes up for it.
