This place is almost like a modern day general store, with a focus on home hardware and supplies. They're fantastic about helping out people - literally everyone who walks in, and every time I've come in with an idea for a home improvement project, I've left with a better idea of how to do it, and usually a few supplies to do so! Love this store.

Just a nice local hardware shop in Laporte. It's a long drive out to Home Depot for me, these guys have a lot of stuff, and most likely any of your common hardware need. Always meet with polite folks who want to make sure you find what you need. And it's nice to support your local stores, it really does matter.

They have lots of good products here, most of the time the smaller hardware shops only have limited stock, but they do keep enough to get you through your job, complete it or decide to start it another weekend.... oh, and they wont shake your paint from another store here. its against all laws of humanity , so don't ask! lol.... no really, they wont shake your paint, so what ever you do , don,t even try ! :)

Usually a lot cheaper than home depot. Awesome, friendly service. There inventory is very impressive for a small space & I'm often surprised at getting things like wood stove fittings, plumbing fittings without searching further.

I don't normally make these posts, but I was greeted by a friendly dog with no worker in sight, I walked around and couldn't tell who was a customer or a employee. A lady approached me and I asked where I could find what I was looking for and she simply pointed and walked away, so when I went to go try to find what I was looking for, the same lady came to me again and started belittling me asking if I knew how to do my job or not. When I finally found my purchase I stood at the counter for upwards to 5 minutes without a employee in sight, but I did see them walking around in the back doing other things. 10/10 don't recommend.

Lots of variety, very decent prices, helpful staff. Maybe not quite as good a selection as the really big stores, but they continually surprise me on what they do have. Willing to order in things they don't have.

The last time I was in Laporte the only thing there was like a trailer Court.You blink and you went through it to have a hardware store and grocery store they've come a long ways the hardware store had what I needed to finish my job up.I haven't been in Laporte since 1988 when my daughter was born in Poudre valley.

Having a local hardware store in LaPorte is a real blessing. I can’t remember the number of times this store saved me a trip into Fort Collins. Along with a great selection of merchandise, most of their prices are competitive with the big box home centers. They are especially competitive with their fasteners (nails, bolts, screws and the like).As a family run business the service is excellent. LaPorte Hardware makes it easy to shop and support a local business.
