Dr. Marta Dean and ALL of her staff have been phenomenal! After losing two of my beloved bunnies and not getting answers or proper advice/help we sought out Laporte Animal Clinic. The technicians are always friendly and you can tell they care about the animals. Dr. Marta Dean has gone out of her way to be in touch with me outside of business hours and in finding treatment options to keep my remaining two bunnies alive and well. She has done specialty bloodwork in partnership with a lab out in Florida that I never even knew was an option at bigger clinics or any of the other hospitals we visited!! I fully trust her and her team with the care of my fur babies.

I love going to LaPorte Animal Clinic for my two dwarf (indoor, house) rabbits. I drive from Laramie, WY every time I need something for them. I've seen Marta for things as simple as nail trimmings (which always go over quickly and fuss free!) all the way up to things as complicated as spaying/neutering, lab tests, and an eye removal surgery. The staff knows how to handle rabbits and other exotics really well, and they're always really caring with them. They always go over every part of the bill in detail for you, and I never feel overcharged. Marta is very knowledgeable and has helped me keep the bunnies in tip-top shape for almost 3 years! I would highly recommend her for anyone in the area with rabbits and other exotics.Update: After being away for about 5 years, we brought our pets back to see Dr. Marta Dean. She's still the best 😊

This is a really great vet. I had my Frenchie at another vet got no good results. This vet is awesome 3 day later I am seeing great improvement. This is Toad new doctor they are spot on and very caring. Great communication and care / treatment. Good prices. Very friendly staff. I just want to say thank you all form Toad and Matt.

I can't say enough good things about this place. They are AWESOME. My husband and I were in the area for a summer job with our 2 kitties that have begun having health issues. Dr. Dean was SO thorough in examining my one girl and got to the bottom of an a concern we had. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We travel and have had to use local vets in different areas and LaPorte Animal Clinic by far has been the best we've used in 6 years. I was sad to leave the area and lose the care of Dr. Dean. Don't be fooled into thinking a "small town" vet clinic isn't up to par. These folks set the bar high. THANK YOU.

I wish I could give ten stars to this veterinarian clinic. Every time we bring in our dog for anything minor or major, we feel that the staff truly cares for him and for us. Recently, our little guy got very sick from getting into our compost pile. The knowledgeable team at LaPorte Animal Clinic took care of a very scary situation efficiently and with great empathy and expertise. I feel so lucky to have a vet we can rely on to provide excellent care for our furry family member whom we love so much.

Dr. Martha Dean and Dr. Dean run a highly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate practice! Their staff are well trained and professional as well. We have been clients for many years. My rats have received great care here at very reasonable prices with a very knowledgeable and kind staff. Each time they have come in Dr. Dean and her techs have been a great help and have worked well with the girls. I am most impressed, however, with their end-of-life care. Euthanasia of a pet is such a sad thing to have to experience, but Dr. Dean was so kind and professional throughout the whole process. It made me feel at peace and comforted, and I think my rat also got to experience a far more peaceful and gentle death than she might have otherwise. Thank you.

Very receptive of both pets and pet parents. Through explanations of all procedures during the visit as well what may come of future needs for the pets. Very reasonably priced for visit and procedures. Employees as well as the doctor seem to enjoy their jobs and are happy and relaxed, therefore putting the pets more at ease.

My pet rat, Jake, had a tumor and he wasn’t doing well. I visited the clinic 4 times over the course of a week, and on the final visit Jake had surgery to remove his tumor and he sadly passed away when waking up from surgery. The vet technicians and Dr. Marta Dean called me to let me know immediately and had written me a card, expressing their condolences.Despite losing my best buddy, they had done everything they could to save his little life. They know their Pet rats very well and I will continue to bring the rest of my mischief to this clinic.EXTRA:They had an easy no-contact drop off, and the times I was there waiting, I witnessed a few pet emergencies roll through and the staff handled the scheduled appointments and the emergencies EXTREMELY well. This is an excellent clinic run by excellent people.

I had to find a vet open, where I was on a Saturday. They happen to fit the bill. I got an appointment that day, got my dog into them and they were friendly, helpful, and most importantly I they took really great care of my lab! Laporte Animal Clinic is a small, understated storefront in the Overland Foods shopping center in Laorte, but don't let its size or its outward appearance fool you. Inside, you will find resident genius Dr. Marta Dean, small animal and exotic specialist, and sometimes you will find her husband, Dr. Andy Dean, a notable equine veterinarian in the community. The clinic also features a store for pets, with healthy food choices and other things your beloved little one might like. The Deans have been practicing in this spot for decades, and are active in the community. Dr. Marta has been very good at dealing with the special needs of my half Cairn Terrier, half Chihuahua, who is missing seven teeth and one eye. He was a rescue. Dr. Marta and Dr. Andy maintain a friendly, concerned staff, and personally train them to follow detailed intake protocol, ask good questions and be welcoming and reassuring, if needed. Our patient-care room was plastered with informative posters and hand-made art. You feel like you're with family when you take your pet to Laporte Animal.

In 2001 I was with Raintree Animal Clinic, Ft. Collins, and after $750 of agonizing, tie my puppy down tests, I refused any more of their help and took him to La Porte Animal Clinic in La Porte, CO. Dr. Marta gave him a $10 pill and he was better the next day. We have been with them with 3 cats now 2 dogs and a horse. They never ever made me feel over charged and definitely care about the animals best interest. Their prices are completely reasonable and they are very nice people. I recommend them to anyone who wants what is best for their animals.

One on one care for your animal in a quiet and calm setting. My guy is high anxiety and a vet with 15 barking dogs in kennels won't do - They take the time to calm him down and actually care for him and their services are very reasonably priced.

They always are my go to for the vets. My three dogs have been there and have been shown nothing but love.
