The owner did a great job trying to fit my very flat backed gelding. She showed me what she was feeling w each saddle, where it was too tight, etc. She is very knowledgeable about her stock and fitting them to horses and to you. It has been challenging to get saddles in w Covid but she is getting caught up. There is an expert saddle maker who can aid in modifications on site. Very knowledgeable, helpful and willing to teach. I highly recommend this shop. She will do her utmost to fit the saddle to your horse and to you.

I was in the Denver area and I like to visit tack shops when on vacation. This was a little drive away but it was worth it! I am only rating them 4 stars because they didn’t have any show halters but the helpful woman behind the counter said they had some on order. I also overheard another woman on the phone helping someone find a saddle and they paid for it over the phone and will ship it out with a trial period when they get the saddle. They had a huge selection of saddle, headstalls, breast collars, bits and reins. If I had driving instead of flying I’d have loaded up the car! They had new and used tack! I bought used spurs and a used bit. This is definitely a great place to buy tack! Keep up the good work!!!

The ladies here were incredibly knowledgeable! I showed pictures of my mare and gave them a description and they helped find a tree that fit her like a glove. Was definitely worth the drive for me! I’ll be visiting again!

The owner Danna is incredibly knowledgeable and helped us find a great saddle for our new horse. The saddle for process was simple and she explained everything as we tried several different ones on (why they fit in this spot, but not as well in this one, what to look for in an ideal fitting saddle, etc). She answered all of our questions and was very amazing to work with!

From our first visit just discussing what kind of saddle to shop for and getting a variety of information (help from older gentleman, cannot remember his name). To Lynnsy (saddle fitter) was very helpful, she listened to what we wanted to get a selection to try on our horse. We went through 10+ saddles trying to get the right fit on our horse and narrowed it down to only one option/type. The trial period was very helpful and purchasing the saddle plus all the other equipment was smooth. The owner even helped us. I cannot express how kind and helpful all of the staff is. Even with Saddle up being a decent drive away from home I plan on continuing to use them.

Very friendly staff, great selection of tack and everything else horse-related, excellent customer service, and the best prices. The same saddle new was $200 more at a competing tack shop, and the same saddle used at the competing tack shop was only $40 less than the new one at Saddle up!

This place is a dream for western tack, so glad we stopped by! The staff is so helpful and I found everything I needed (and so much more, would have bought the whole store if I could! :) ). There is even a second hand section which I find so great to be able to recycle tack people don’t use/need anymore. Definitely worth the stop, you’ll surely find what you are looking for!

Saddle Up, is an amazing shop. I have never had a brand new saddle before. I had a lot of questions and Bill who is also a saddle maker spent alot of time answering all of my questions and concerns. Danna, Bill and the rest of the staff have been so helpful and accommodating. I’m trying to find the right saddle for my hard to fit Andalusian mare and they’ve gone out of their way to help. After a trial on a saddle that didn’t fit, Danna showed me several others and told me about a few more due in very soon. We decided it would be best for Danna to come to the barn and do a fitting directly with my horse and I’m really looking forward to that. Both Danna and Bill are super knowledgeable and they’re willing to share their knowledge with their customers. As a fellow female business owner, I so appreciate the high quality customer service that Danna and her team provide. This store is well worth the drive from anywhere in Colorado. Such great, honest people and a very impressive selection of western saddles.

I absolutely could not write a review that would do this place justice. We are new horse owners and we were shopping for saddles and all of our gear with another company. Out of frustration, we started looking at other options and Saddle Up came up in the search. On our first visit, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We then scheduled a saddle fitting with Bill and he was phenomenal. Came to our house, brought multiple saddles to fit, then you can keep a couple and try them out to make sure they work for you and your horse before you decide which one to buy. We stopped back in to return the extra saddle and caught Bill in the shop and he took his time to help us yet again (even though it was his day off). So kind, so friendly! The prices are so reasonable, the shop is very well organized and there's a ton of options. But most of all, their customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.

This place is so great! It's a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive. I've checked out almost all of the tack shops in the area and they have the biggest selection by far. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and they will check to see what they have in stock before you drive out there, as well as offer to order in anything you need. I recently took in a headstall to get the browband lengthened and add some conchos and I'm very happy with how it turned out! The work was done on time and at a very reasonable price.

So I ordered a beautiful saddle from there. Shipping was quick, and I appreciate the fact they required a signature(my post office out here is terrible and mail ends up typically at the wrong house).The only thing I am upset about it the saddle was advertised with a back cinch and when it arrived, there was no rear cinch. I did finally hear back from the owners and they are sending it out.I will definitely do business with them again!

I have worked with Bill on several occassions. He is an excellent saddle fitter and is extremely helpful when you have any questions regarding the correct tack for your horse. I have spent several hours and several dollars there and have always enjoyed my visits. I drive a long distance to get there but it has always been worth the drive. It is always and fun and educational time. I have purchased two saddles from them and also a bridle and bit. I feel confident that they will standby their products
