Very cool place, lots of unique things from all over. Having gone in November, there were lots of Christmas ornaments. There were several cuckoo clocks, china sets made in Poland, Ukrainian painted eggs. The staff was very nice and helpful in finding items.

Nice shop, lovely item that are, in many cases breakable. As a mom of 4 I would never even consider bringing small children in, even in a stroller as there are some tight spaces. For those of you who seem surprised that your preschooler can’t play with things here, just because a shop sells toys doesn’t mean the shop is ok with your kid test driving the toys. Small businesses need every piece of inventory to be in sellable condition to turn a profit. This isn’t Target.

Wonderful shop and very helpful people. Lots to choose from, Polish Pottery, ornaments, wood items, and much, much more. We have been going there for years, and it is a must stop when ever we are in Georgetown.

I live in Denver and my dad lives in Georgetown and we visit often, I always loved this store and have brought many friends from out of town to shop there.Today we brought in some friends and our two year old. She was playing with a stuffed animal there and the staff was as very rude. I understand if there is a policy that you cannot play with or touch items if you do not buy them. If this was nicely explained that would be totally fine.Instead they were rude can kept saying it would mess up the display, then as we left they were clearly gossiping/talking bad about our crying child. That is not necessary in any situation, and absolutely horrible customer service. We will never be back again.

Always a treat to get to go to this store! It's Christmas year-round! I've always had a love for Swedish Christmas, thanks to The Trolls by Jan Brett, and Kirsten's Surprise from the American Girl books. I love the straw Swedish ornaments and straw goats, the hand painted wood ornaments, the dala horses, the wooden step candlesticks. You can find all that, everything from Europe and Russia, as well as Africa. It's just magic.

Such a beautiful shop with a lovely owner. Wife and I love Christmas and there is a great selection of unique items. Several ornaments were locally made and we got one to remember our trip. It wasn’t all Christmas, though, and featured several boutique items. Wife picked up a necklace she really liked. Worth stopping in if your in the area.

I live in the area & bring family/friends every time we visit. Will never be back after staff was extremely rude to my 2 year old. They came up multiple times asking us not to play or touch with any of the children’s toys unless we intended on buying them. No signage was posted. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. I understand this may not impact business, but am hopeful another 2 year old doesn’t go home in tears by being publicly shamed! Yes we heard you talking about us as we left.

very nice shop but maybe only come here if you are an adult. Make sure you don't touch anything. If you have kids, avoid the place. Our two year old grabbed a stuffed animal and the owner said she could only touch it if we were buying.

A cute store with lots to look at but NOT kid friendly. No signs are posted by the toys to not touch but they scolded my friend’s 2 year old daughter for gently exploring some of the toys and stuffed animals they had displayed.

Stop selling toys, if you don’t want kids in your store…… that simple. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here! Oooo and if the parent is already talking to the child, don’t interrupt to say the same thing 👍🏻

What horrible management! I followed all management direction on a new cuckoo clock purchased 12/12/21. The clock never kept current time. I adjusted per owners manual. The Cuckoo stopped working a week ago.I called the owner and explained my situation 1/8/21. The owner said let me look at it or there is a clock repairman in Empire. I explained I’m an hour away and the manager said they wouldn’t close until 4pm. I arrived at 3pm at Shoppe International. The owner was not there. The associate on duty called the owner after I explained I spoke with the owner and said I was on my way to his store.The owner showed up and at that time, I asked if I could return the clock. The owner become upset and said no returns. I asked what their return policy was. No return. I recommended they post a sign by the clocks that states, “No Returns On Cuckoo Clocks”, as a business policy for customers to review before deciding to purchase or not.The owner said I was threatening him! I explained that I asked for a return of the cuckoo clock. I did not threaten him or his company and only made a recommendation about a return policy on cuckoo clocks be posted for future customers.The owner said, “ I will get you the name of a clock repairman, I’m not working on your clock.” So, he sells faulty merchandise and refuses to take care of the issue for the customer. Between my wife and I , we spent $439.36 in this shop on December 12, 2021; $328 of that on the cuckoo clock that within a few weeks quit working. Buyer beware!

I'm very sad that my family and I had such a terrible experience at Shoppe International. We have been coming to this store for years to find the perfect Christmas ornament. It's a tradition and unfortunately that tradition has to stop. While shopping my 2 year old had to use the restroom. We rushed to the counter to ask if they had a public restroom that she could use. Kim and Sandy were at the counter and told us no. Which is fine and understandable. Said it was a liability issue for the 2 year old to use their facilities. As we rushed out of the store those two women laughed and mocked us for asking. My daughter being newly potty trained had an accident as we searched for another restroom. She cried because she was so embarrassed and ashamed that she couldn't make it to a restroom and no fault to her own. I understand that they don't have a public restroom but I do not understand why it is ok to be so incredibly rude and unprofessional. A simple suggestion of a nearby store or restaurant would have avoided this whole situation. Coming back to to retrieve the rest of my family that was left in the store I told Kim a simple suggestion would have been great. She wouldn't even look up from her paper she was reading. Then she raised her voice at me and started screaming at me for asking and how it wasn't her problem. She was so incredibly rude. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Being screamed at by an employee is unacceptable. I asked for her name and owners information and she refused to give me her last name to call and report the incident. Sandy was much more polite and simply explained it was against their policy. I've called the number on the card to report the incident to the owners. Spoke with a woman and I feel it fell on deaf ears. It was such a shame I even had a woman and her husband come up to us on the street and said they put down everything they had in their hands ready to buy and also walked out of the store because of how we were treated. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST! ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I'm in shock that they think they can treat customers so poorly. Screaming at me inside the store while other customers were so uncomfortable they left too. SHAME ON THEM.

Only come into this store if you want to support some uptight, sour old ladies. Our 3 year old was scolded for gently touching a Christmas doll, nothing breakable. We were watching her the entire time but since she was not near anything glass, ceramic, etc we figured she was fine. She wasn't rambunctious or running, just waking around totally enthralled by all the Christmas items. We love Christmas around our house and had every intention of buying a few items but I'm SO glad we didn't spend our money here. I'll be much happy spending it elsewhere.

Oh my goodness...what's not to love? They had so many great gift ideas...and the Christmas side of the shop was amazing, too. I now have reindeer lights and a very cool moose ornament for our tree, along with magnets, a serving spatula, etc.They carry many gifts made in Russia, Sweden, Poland, etc. They feature Jim Shore collectibles.

After visiting several shoppes in Georgetown on my recent trip this is one everyone should stop at. It's just a pleasant, fun experience. On one side is more of a "gift" shop with tons of gifty things and I'm sure one-of-a-kind items. The other side is a year round Christmas shop. It's shops like these that make small towns great places to visit.

The owner of this shop is extremely rude! I went in there with my grandparents and she followed my grandpa around like a hawk. He was looking around her shop with a walker and she kept bugging him every 2 seconds to make sure he didn't brake anything. Well I am pretty sure he is not a child and will not brake anything. Extremely rude and I do not recommend ever shopping there!

Shop here during the holiday season with my mom visiting from out of state.We met the owner she was super friendly gave us a great customer service . We bought a several ornaments, & Souvenirs items for the holidays they have a lot of unique items that reminded me from my grandparents days.

One lady was nice on the phone but was busy and asked me to call back. So I did where I unfortunately encountered a very different person. Not nice. Not friendly. And apparently just too busy to help. Like apparently they just don't need any more business than what they have. Keep that in mind. You might be annoying this person if you go there. That's how I felt.

Elderly staff was VERY rude to me about touching the items in the shop. She lost out on a lot of business, oh well.
