Being in a small town, the prices are a bit high but the employees are nice and friendly. If it wasn't for this little grocery store, many of the local residents wouldn't be able to get their food. Besides that, it's a nice small establishment.

Stopped into Thaxton’s Market to attend a baseball game in Fowler and the employees were friendly and helpful.I was able to get a 32oz Coke and a medium size bag of Chips for under $5.00! I highly recommend going into Thaxton’s Market for their awesome meat department and produce.Prices are very reasonable and affordable compared to the prices in Pueblo at Walmart or King Soopers or Safeway.Go inside and meet the helpful group at Thaxton’s Market!

If you were on the fence, whether you should be ordering meat from this market or not, don’t be! Everything we have purchased from them is absolutely exceptional! Their service is unparalleled as well as the packaging of their products. Excellent store , excellent meat, very reasonable pricing. Order and enjoy you’ll be hooked! Robert and Blake in the meat department are hands down the best!!!

Small Town market. Friendly easy to have things ordered. Great for our local church since we have a meal for everyone on Wednesday nights. They really try to help us serve a great meal.Drop in and look around it's no big box store but it's a clean and friendly place to shop

The meat is so fresh and good quality and... affordable. I drive 30 min to shop here... better than any other store in our small town group... I was surprised. The produce is great too. Their blueberries are actuality sweet. The watermelon too. Everything is so fresh! No long lines... friendly staff... Walmart and Safeway will see less of me.

Impressive variety on fresh produce. A deli area provides hand-sliced meats and cheeses. One of the cashiers is uncomfortably quiet (eye contact without conversation), but everyone else seems to be warm and friendly. Prices are a little high, but there's always something on sale.

It's a small town market, so it does have a limited selection, but all the basics are definitely covered. There is fresh produce and butchered meat. Wic and food benefits are accepted. The staff is friendly and will help load your bags if needed.

Thaxton's has what we need... if they don't have it... we really don't need it. They do an excellent job of focusing on what the neighborhood needs from a local grocery store and provides such service. Need something cut from the butcher? Just ask before 5 pm and they are happy to provide. They truly are my family's "go to" when it comes to "what's for dinner?"

I am very happy with Thaxtons, their meat dept is excellent, quality outstanding. Some items are a little higher priced than the bigger stores, but it has a good selection of items and the people who work there are superior, l have gone to this store for many years, name has changed but still the same great little store.

Thaxton's Market is a great store, their meat selection is always great. people are always friendly and helpful. You might pay a little more on some items, but all in all it's a great store all around.

Extremely extremely expensive! The cashiers were very nice. They even took my groceries out to the car. But I can't afford going to that store.

The selection and pricing were much closer to the big chains then you would expect from seeing the place from outside.The staff was charming and helpful and the crowds were nonexistent. Great experience!
