I visited this location today and all their baby bettas were dead :( the staff is usually amazing and I know they do their best but this is completely unacceptable. Please do better Petco or don’t sell the fish sadly I won’t be back.

We just finished the Fundamentals training with Amber and she is amazing. She made the training fun, interactive yet kept it on point. She is very knowledgeable and gave us great advice for our dog Finn. We successfully used her advice & coaching outside of class to solve a couple of issues we were having. I would highly recommend her classes & we will be continuing with the advanced class with her!

I've always come to this Petco for my dogs' food and treats, and occasional nail trims. I just recently took them here for their first grooming session and the gal that took care of them was amazing! My dogs are very big, and pretty crazy and full of energy. She handled them with grace and care and did a great job with their baths. Thank you!

I’ve been going to this Petco for 2 years and Alex is the main reason I keep going to this location. She is a SUPERSTAR employee who has helped me so much with my aquariums. Always very friendly and very knowledgeable- should be a manager if she’s not already! Legit she’s the best.

I picked up online order that was waiting in a cart and loaded it into my car while dark outside. Wasn't until I got home that I saw a 7" slash in the 25 lb bag of dog food. So now I'm thinking they purposely sent me home with a damaged bag and wondering if food is stale and how much has fallen out of bag.

It's easy to get to. Easier to shop at than PetSmart. No public restrooms, they send customers next door to the liquor store (unless they choose to let you use the restrooms).

Just had my pup groomed at Petco right of County Line Road by Park Meadows Mall. He looks fabulous! The girls there are great and so kind to the pups! Highly recommend this Petco! 🐶

The best part of this place is the people that work here. Every time we come in Nova is greeted by her favorite Petco employees. Becca was our old trainer, who has now moved onto grooming. She’s amazing. Amber is our new trainer and she is incredible. So knowledgeable on literally every subject- behavioral issues, medical issues, dietary restrictions, etc. She introduced us to clicker training and my dog has learned so many fun new tricks since training with her. She has always been there to reassure us every step of the way. Petco, Amber seriously deserves a raise!! Would also like to mention Lisa, as she is so down to earth, Nova adores her! Terrible. You have to order on line, THEN come to the store to pick up the items. Why bother. If you have to come to the store to get the items, you as an in-store customer SHOULD be able to get the discount because you are in the store. WHAT A WASTE!

My previous groomer cancelled the day of, and thankfully Petco was able to fit me into a last minute appointment. Brianna K did such a great job. I haven't been this happy with my goldendoodle's haircut in 2 years lol. Brianna was kind and really listened to my requests instead of just giving him the typical doodle cut. Will only be going here from now on ◡̈ (See Ronan's before and after below)

This location is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful, I just wish they were able to do cat grooming, not just dog.Clean, the store designs change with the holidays and gives a lot of fun stuff to look at.This location does feel a little small though, so keep that in mind for the big dogs.

Not only did they charge me nearly 100 dollars to buzzcut my dog(NOT what I requested). They discriminated against me by giving my name a racist label on my account(Myles Jew) despite courteous behavior from my part. Then when I tried to peacefully handle the situation the lead groomer lied and said I yelled at and cussed out her staff despite her not being in the room when I asked for help to resolve the situation. They also told mewhen I asked if they could take the offensive title off of my account (Jew) that I’d have to do it myself and they aren’t capable of changing account names. Funnily enough they were able to change it after I left a review threatening legal action. That’s when they decided they’d slander me by lying and writing a report that I yelled and cussed at their staff. The video and sound of the day and time I was last in their store during the situation will prove otherwise. Not only will this store rip you off for shoddy work. They will make fun of you and slander you while doing so. You’ll be getting a request for Discovery and proof soon.

Grooming Salon: I would have given ZERO stars so Watch out!! They hurt my baby eyes. They pulled her eye buggers and hurt her. I guess the lady was not careful when she did this. Also, they just cut her hair and they didn't bath her. I brought her shampoo and conditioner. They took everything when i dropped her and when i picked her up they charge me an extra $8 because per their policy (never said anything when i dropped her with her shampoo) they could not take other products but theirs. Not only that but they NEVER called me to even ask me if i wanted to upgrade her shampoo, either to let me know they could not take mine. I never understood!! These people are HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!BTW, Brianna K did the WONDERFUL job of pulling her eye buggers. I honesty do not understand how other people think she is GREAT. Obviously she careless about puppies. I would like to know if she would have liked me pulling her hair hurting her!!!!

If you have aquatic life questions, Alex is the one to talk to. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in as much detail as you want. I have 3 kids at home who are counting on us (parents) to keep our fish thriving and we have no idea what we're doing - lol! This isn't the closest pet store to my house but it's worth the 20 minute drive.

I came 10 minutes before close (I was THAT guy), but despite this, the young lady was very attentive and helpful and did not make me feel rushed. Even answered some questions for me after I left naively without a receipt. * One cool thing I learned from this though is that if you are in their system, you don't need to necessarily hang on to your receipts. If you are worried about a future return. It just saves right to your account! We truly are living in the future, my friends.

Update: the bearded dragon we purchased from them was much older than they said, and thus very difficult to handle. He was mean and very aggressive once we got him home. Management refused to do anything to help us. I would go to the PetSmart down the street. They have more variety, a clean store, and feeder crickets are 5 cents less.

Hannah in the Aquatics Dept was VERY helpful to me today when I was searching out glass lids for my ever-growing assortment of Betta tanks. She was both knowledgeable and personable, made me thankful I had found this store. Amber at the front was more of the same; an altogether great retail experience (very rare these days). Thanks ladies!

I don’t know how to explain bay is missing for a five star rating. Honestly the employee relationship is what always draws me in for the five star experience. The employees here are great! I really love interacting with Lisa! My orders are usually ready when notification is sent. But maybe it is annoying that phone numbers for notifications get mixed up and really Annoying when the company takes an extended period to assimilate accounts to the new system. I have been to multiple locations in two states; CA and CO and I am consistently generally satisfied, but there is an overall feeling of disappointment for that fifth star. I’ll keep searching for it though.I utilize all of the resources available by this establishment to collect points and save money. I have three different breeds of dogs all under the age of 4. I love fish but have purchased them from here because of rumors about how they are obtained: but that is a waning issue for me.I am looking forward to finding that fifth star because I know it exists due to my sporadic experience with at least 5 different stores in two different states.WML!!

DO NOT come to this location for grooming services. I booked the service weeks ago, no where says puppies cannot get a haircut until the appt day, they refuse to cut my dog’s hair because she’s too young and that’s Petco’s policy. Fine, I changed my appointment to bath only and they accepted her, after 30mins drive home, got a phone call from the groomer Evy, saying she’s not comfortable to do anything with my dog, not even a bath because the dog has some matts and I need to pick up my dog asap. I was upset for spending 1.5hr in traffic that day (mid day work day) for this appt but not getting any services done. They checked her hair when I dropped her off, if the matts were so bad, they could’ve told/warned me before I leave the store so i can just take my dog home. Talked to one of the managers Rowen, instead of solving the issue, she told me I just need to pick up the dog then hung up on me. After that, I called the store 17 times, got hung up 3 times more, rest of the calls no one picked up, I know they did that on purpose to avoid more conversations. The way they treat their customers are horrible, the way that manager Rowen handled the situation was not right, I’ve been a customer of Petco for 9yrs now, never had an experience like this. DO NOT come to this location.Follow up: called another Petco location (in Denver on Mexico Ave), talked to the salon manager, she’s not aware of any puppy policy that not allow them to get a haircut unless the dogs are aggressive. Also asked her about the matting situation, she said normally it doesn’t happen to puppies that matts are so bad and have to take to a vet to get calming medicine in order to bathe/cut the hair. I got a completely different answer from another petco location, my guess is it was a Friday, the salon was busy and the groomer Evy did not want to deal with a puppy. That just shows what kind of poor services they provide to their customers.

Recently it took them 5 hours to groom my 16 pound dog who’s used to grooming. I even dropped in at 4 hours wondering if he was done. Another customer was leaving with his dog that was dropped off AFTER my dog. I know this because in the morning I was dropping my dog off and he came in with his after me and couldn’t drop his off because it was missing rabies, then he had to leave with his dogs (2 of them) and then obviously returned even much after I had already dropped mine off….. makes me wonder if they were just letting my dog sit for a long time because he’s fine in a kennel and they were rushing through the dogs that were making noise.

Dropped my dog off at 9am.Usually a 2-3hour timeframe for pick up.She wasn’t done until 4pm!!I know she must have spent a good portion of the day locked in a crate.My dog is very well behaved luckily….I’m sure that’s why she got pushed to the last to be finished.First time this has happened but I am not happy at all about it.9-4 is unacceptable to keep a dog for grooming!
