They are taking excellent care of a difficult and unavoidable separation from my dog, Baja. After being reunited & rescuing her from neglect and abuse, the shelter has become the most caring & safest place Baja has had in years. I am so grateful for the comfort the shelter & staff has provided during an impossible situation. And I know they will make sure Baja finds her best forever home, ever.

The facility was clean and quiet. Dogs are kept in a different area so as not to get upset or anxious. The kitties were cute and customer service was great. They have a very lovely place and it's nice to see that animals can stretch their little legs and get exercise along with love and affection in an awesome facility!

After visiting a few other shelters, I was very impressed with this one! The staff replied to my email almost immediately on a weeknight, they were very friendly in-person, and they were thorough and took time to answer my questions. I felt like they really want every animal to find a good fit home rather than just get them through, and the animals are clearly well cared for at the shelter. I did end up adopting, and they gave me as much info as possible. I would absolutely adopt from them again!

I adopted both of my cats from the Eagle County Animal shelter and they are the best!! They were well taken care of, and the adoption process was super smooth and easy! I love that the staff members reached out after the adoption to make sure my kitties were settling in okay! They really know their stuff and they care a lot about the animals. You can tell!

The Eagle County Animal Shelter is awesome! I got my wonderful dog from there. I know someone worked with her because she's trained very well! it was the nicest cleanest animal shelter I've ever been in! And the staff were absolutely wonderful what the adoption process! I would definitely recommend getting a pet from them!

We just adopted our sweet boy Lobo from this shelter. From the moment we walked in the shelter made us feel like we were a part of their family. They even took a family photo of us at the shelter with our new Dog. We are so blessed and greatful to have our sweet boy. He is already so loved. He fits perfectly with our beautiful family.

The staff are super friendly and understanding. We had a medical emergency in the family and had to surrender the family member’s cats and they assured us that they would be in the best care possible. The place looks very clean and inviting as well.

Absolutely terrible. We brought our cat here after 2 years of having her just to make sure she didn’t belong to anyone and to check if she had kittens. They took her from us and refuse to give her back unless we pay to adopt her again and if she is pregnant they told us we can’t have her back. My kids loved her and they are so sad to see her go after having her from a kitten. Honestly a really terrible place if you ask me.

Terrible service. Doesn’t open on time and the workers are very inconsiderate. Although we had contacted them about our missing cat and to tell us if a similar cat came in, they disregarded that and adopted out OUR cat after she was brought in as a stray. They were extremely unsympathetic about our situation. Adopt somewhere else.
