Pet Supplies Plus' web interface sucks, and we could and did deal with that for years. Ultimately, it was the incompetence and intransigence of staff at the Arapahoe store that drove us away. We're now very happy customers of Chuck and Don's. If you're reading this I suggest you consider a similar move.

Nice friendly neighborhood pet shop with good selection of food treats toys and other pet products including a self wash. Prices are competitive or better than the other big box pet suppliers. My pup loves going there.

Great little shop. I have pet fish so this is a fish related review.The feeder fish are the healthiest I have seen in any store ever! Truly a great stock.All of their fish look happy, healthy, well fed and active. The bettas also get larger containers compared to a traditional cup!Not too much live stock or dry stock. But what they have is good and well priced.They also have frozen food.Important to note that they don’t have any live aquatic plants if you are into that sort of thing.Great shop!

We got a beta last night and the person who helped us was so educated about the fish and what it needs in order to be happy at his new home ! Love this location and wish they sold more animals! I think this place is lucky to have such a dedicated employee!!!!!!!

I had done an order online for delivery. When I finished setting up the order I received an email right away saying I will get an email when It was out for delivery and to expect it tonight. I never got that email, instead I got a phone call from someone else in my building saying my name was on what looked like a pet supplies order. I never got an email or a phone call. Not only that but they left on 16th and Glenarm which is not an area you would want an order left at. I did an order online because my car is in the shop after a few emails to the customer service I received an email saying they would be more than happy to return or replace damage items if I went into the store. Having me do exactly what I was trying not to do as I don't have a car right now so I am just out of luck and out $60. I recommend using chewy or any other autoship method because of this!

Always helpful staff when I visit. I ordered delivery this time and it was a fast seamless process. My order came packed in a weather proof bag to protect the contents in case of rain.

Great pet wash! The blower is not very powerful though if you require that. I would probably go to a different wash on cold days to use a better working drier. Otherwise it’s really great and if you buy the punch card, it’s only $5 (I think it’s $10 for a single wash or $25 for a 5 wash punchcard). It’s pretty handy having ace and the pet store right there in the same space, especially with the downtown location. Parking can be difficult and is mostly metered, but I shopped and did a thorough was in just over an hour (I take my time) and it was $1.50 on the meter around the corner. It would be nice if 2 entrances were open so you could go to a closer one if you’re walking far/carrying heavy things. Pretty good selection with regular pricing.

It's really nice to have a proper pet store with reasonable prices within the actual City limits of Denver. It's even better that they are extremely friendly, knowledgable, have a great selection, and are always willing to help.

Amazing place and service. Walking in the layout is very nice and homey, like a mom and pops store. The Cashier that took me was named Dave? I believe it’s a older gentleman that worked this past Thursday. I was so impressed by the service that I became a member and the prices are so good!

Completely disrespectful not to open on time shame I try to spend my money with a local business but unfortunately the big chains know how to operate a business. I guess I’ll be skipping this downtown pet store from now on another couple hundred dollars in revenue lost simply because somebody couldn’t wake up on time and open the door when they’re supposed to. I hope the next tenant in the space is more successful.

I work 2 blocks north of this location and decided to pick up a bag of Kitty Litter on my lunch break - not only did they have a great array of litters to choose from, the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly.The most amazing thing, however is that when William (the Manager) offered to carry the bag out to my car, I mentioned I had walked. He then offered to carry the bag up two blocks to my office building for me.I am still amazed at the customer care I received with William and his Team at Pet Supplies Plus today.Thank you all so much for your efforts!

They have a nice sized store, however most of the prices are a bit higher than I would expect for some of thier items, however they do have a relatively decent clearance aisle if you are willing to wait for the items to go down.

They closed early despite posted hours. We arrived at 7:30 on Saturday 08/13. An employee let us in, and the manager then began yelling at us to leave and asking how we got into the store. Another gentleman entered behind us and the manager pushed his service dog that was entering with him, and began yelling at him as well. They supposedly closed to paint floors, but no sign was posted to update hours. They would not answer me when I asked multiple times who the owner of the store was. Though this is supposedly a franchised store, I will be filing a formal complaint with the corporate office and any other avenues / resources applicable.UPDATE 08/14: I have left my contact information with the manager to give to the owner and have asked to be called, as again she would not give me any contact information for the owner.

Loved this place with Ace Hardware and pet shop in one place. Very convenient. However, I’m you will find limited garden items such as brass sprinkle heads as the store offers what are needed for the downtown area that you will easily find in the stores in mostly residential area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I will never use their grooming services again. They aren’t clear on their abilities and then blame things on “it’s store policy”. And to add insult to injury, when you speak to the manager he’s rude and abrupt and slams the door to the grooming area. If I were you I wouldn’t risk taking my dog there again. They don’t know how to handle different pets’ personalities and dynamics. I’d rather continue paying $60 just 2 blocks away where they are better qualified and with less excuses.

Handy pet store downtown. Half the space is an Ace Hardware, which is handy. Lots of selections for cats, dogs, lizards, and more. I got a great scratch post from them!
