This store is under new ownership or management which is encouraging. Really looking forward to cleaner tanks, more livestock, and a healthier vibe overall. One note...please offer to hold the door when folks are carrying many gallons of water. It's the little things.

Store was dirty, tanks were very dirty, fish Dont look great(there was only like 2). Coral tanks were so dirty I didn't even bother looking at the Coral inside. I came in to get RO water and after I checked out the store I was nervous about it because it was clear the store isn't well Maintained. Sure enough the RO had ammonia in it- had to dump it.Why are you selling that to customers? I understand this place has new owners but then close it until it's ready to be open.

Poor customer service. They don't even answer the telephone during normal business hours. I would be reluctant to buy any livestock here due to a lack of customer support.

A big shout out to Murrman's Reef! They moved a 180 tank and stand for us from Denver to up in the mountains near Florissant last weekend and we could'nt be happier. The crew was great! Professional and affordable! We had a quote from another store up in Denver that was double the price! Not only were they affordable but did an amazing job, delivering everything without a scratch and making sure the tank and stand were level and in position. Great store and if you need a tank move, they are the ones to call. Highly recommend Murrman's Reef! Thanks guys! 🙂

This place is dope. They have a ton of stuff for sale, and everything looks healthy. I asked a bunch of questions regarding their opinion on things and the person working and the manager were both really great. The containers they offer are kind of pricey, but you can fill a container up for free with the purchase of a container. They charged me the wrong price, and were quick to fix it when I pointed it out, so it seemed like an honest mistake.Thanks guys! Your emergency salt water I bought is good quality, as my corals and fish bounced right back after a move.

My favorite fish store! They have the best water in town at the cheapest price; something we struggled with for a while! They have fish food, and a great selection of corals as well as online coral auctions! I also love their “ milf” And “ dilf” stickers and the awesome store pet they have roaming around! ( My family has sweetly nicknamed it “ attack tortoise” because i walked in once and was freaked out to see a huge turtle walking toward me but he doesn’t actually attack! Our favorite fish store all around!

Honest review over my last 8 years dealing with Murrmans (formerly Keys):I initially started going here when it was Key's Island. Really great little shop. Then, it was transformed into Murrman's. I knew Jack before he purchased the shop, and was excited to see the new change.I've always really liked Jack. He gives great advice, and really cares about what he does. For a while, though, I stopped going to the shop. The tanks were sometimes dirty and not very well presented, and I was worried about putting this livestock into my home tank.Ever since the move to the new location, EVERYTHING has 100% turned around. Everything looks clean and professional. There is now staff everywhere ready to help you. Tanks are clean, livestock is healthy, and the weekly auctions are a great way to get some great deals.The staff here will bend over backwards to help you with any issues you have in your tank, whether it be moving, or even special ordering gear when something breaks in your tank.If you have ever been to Murrman's before and been unsure, I would strongly recommend you give them another shot at their new location off Acoma. The business has really figured itself out over the past few years.Really glad Murrman's has found it's stride, and keep up the good work. This is now one of my favorite stores in the state.

Better than it ever was with the former ownership/management. The old shop was in poor condition to what there is now. They have some fish but specialize mainly in corals and have many different varieties. The corals look great, the shop looks great, and this is def going to be one of my regular reef stores for sure. Again, they don't have many fish but they can certainly order one for you if you have a special one in mind. Of the fish they do have, however, some are extremely unique and all the fish look healthy as well. The owner is friendly too.

The store is looking much better with less clutter and cleaner appearance. The fish seem happy as does the corals. A good place to get healthy saltwater fish, corals, and inverts.

Matt was AMAZING! We have a 75 gallon tank at my our hospital and no one knew what to do with it after our regular cleaner left. Matt educated myself and my staff on how to use the equipment we had, what we needed and how to maintain the tank regularly. He also told us what kinds of fish and live plants would work with our existing fish. Best customer service ever! Thank you Matt! Love the place and the variety of fish. Purchased a Blue Tang that had just arrived the night before and the poor little guy didn't make it overnight. They were willing to replace the fish for us since our water tested fine. Sometimes stuff happens that's not the store's fault. I appreciate an honest place like Murrman's. They are so helpful. When my guppies were dying right and left they worked with me to try to figure out what was wrong. Never found a reason. We finally ended up getting a whole new tank and starting over.So I got three female bettas 3 weeks ago. The snails were still ok from the old tank and everyone is now doing fine. They made a lid for the tank special for me. So they are nice and very helpful.

Pretty good saltwater store. Decent prices.Edit: took of a star because the last few times I have gone in the selection was very much deleted last time only like 20% of the fish tanks had fish. All the better or more interesting coral solections seem to be reserved for the FB auctions. 4 out of every 5 visits I leave empty handed but 3 out of those 4 visits I would have left with something from the auction tanks.

Today was the second time in the sho. First time I spent a few hours just watching the fish and asking a ton of questions as I was looking into getting a salt water tank. They took the time to explain everything that was needed and how to do it in a reasonable manner as budget was a factor for me. I ended up finding an established tank on FB and popped into the store today to see what I could add to my tank. The team once again greeted me and answered all the questions but weren’t pushy. It’s nice to see a shop that welcomes newcomers to the hobby as it can be intimidating with the amount of information online. Thanks for taking the time to not only supply products but educate the newbies :)

Jesse from Murrman's was a super duper fantastic guy! I hired him to reseal my 165 gallon aquarium and he did amazing craftsmanship with it. I'm super impressed with the work he did, and he has a wonderful attitude. He is a very hard worker and has been helping me out a lot. This tank is my first big tank, and so I'm still learning a lot. Jesse has been helping me pick out all the equipment from a fabulous canister filter to a good quality affordable tank heater. I'd recommend everybody and their neighbor go to him for all their aquarium questions and needs! He definitely earned a lifelong customer out of me!

I just have to say that if you have never been to Murrman's you are missing out!! We purchased a tank and listened to advice from a big chain store about our saltwater aquarium. Come to find out most of the information we were given was absolutely wrong and should have only been done if we were running a freshwater tank. I reached out to Murrman's via Facebook and they were quick to connect me with Matt who was able to give us his advice that same night thru photos & videos. They swapped out our lighting for us for the correct lighting the next day and helped us out with everything we needed to get our tank back up and healthy. They are all extremely knowledgeable & helpful and have an amazing selection in store. We can't thank you all enough for all for your help. You all are amazing and have definitely earned our business for life!

Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Their fish selection is good and they will sometimes take requests if you can't find a fish you're looking for. Their coral selection is great and most pieces look very healthy. The prices on coral are really hard to beat! Fish prices are competitive and fair.

I've been shopping here for all my tank needs for over 10 years. I started back when it was Key's island and now with the new management it is still the same feel and service. Great selection of coral frags at an unbeatable price. They have recently added three frag flats and I can't wait to see what they add to the selection.
