They were easily able to fix my dogs paw & nails after somewhere else messed them up and didn't listen to instructions. It was his first haircut since I rescued him, he is traumatized by his fur being long so I had to get it cut because he kept trying to yank, pull and bite it out. He still had mats in his paws from when he was rescued, they didn't get them out and I had no idea because of how his fur was on his paws. He's even more happier now and isn't licking the bottom of his paws anymore. He'll be coming here for now on. He's a rescue, so still gets nervous and needs someone who understands him. Nobody knows his story on why he's so weird about certain things like his paws. We tried the CBD with melatonin, which he fights until I'm asleep but it still calms him down a little. He has started sleeping through the night better, and not waking to bark at other dogs, noises outside and at something he's not too used to. As his body adjusts im sure they will help even more. He looks forward to the treat every night, at first he was skeptical and took a few minutes to eat it. Once he realized that he liked it, he's been asking for one every night. He knows exactly where they're and will just stare at them patiently. I'll be trying another one a different time that will be a little more helpful during the day, especially if he knows I'm not feeling well. He doesn't like others waking me 🤣, and will get mad. He's a good guard dog but can be a little dramatic lol. He still gets extremely anxious so I'm hoping that will help, especially because he wants more dog friends but his bark is loud for how small he's and uneducated people think he's being aggressive when he's just wanting to say hi. Him & his friends will literally have barking contest at random times of the day and that's the bark he uses, which is the same when playing. Even with me, he's just loud. We'll be back soon where he'll have a much better haircutting experience.

Been coming here for 3 years now for my dogs grooming and absolutely love them there! They always do a great job and Cooper always come back looking great. So happy I found this place when I moved here! Before and after pics of my golden dood from last time :)

I casually strolled in looking for some new cat food and Chris was a huge help! He’s super informative and professional, listened to everything I had to say about my cats and their eating habits, and gave me such good advice on the type of food they would thrive with! Since I’ve switched to the food he’s recommended my cats’ fur has been so soft and shiny and their poop also doesn’t smell as bad lol. Definitely my go-to spot for cat food now!

Sydney did an excellent job with my puppy! It was Daisy’s second time at the groomers, and she came home with the cutest Doodle cut after having fun at Kriser’s. If you have a poodle mix, you understand how hard it is to find a groomer who can handle the coat! I really appreciate how friendly and helpful all the staff is!

Kriser’s is a great spot for all of your pet needs! They have an excellent selection of food, treats, and toys. Chris is very knowledgeable and helped me select better dry and canned food for my senior pup. I really appreciated the honest opinion, even when directing me to food that cost less than what I had originally planned to buy. He genuinely cares and puts the health and wellness of your pet above all else. I’m very grateful to have stopped in when he was working. Thank you, Chris!!

Jared was the most incredible groomer I’ve ever taken a dog to! I was really nervous for my appointment today, because Tobey (my dog) has thyroid cancer and I was worried about him being uncomfortable. Jared immediately made me (& Tobey) feel at ease - he was warm, kind and even took special precautions to ensure Tobey would be comfortable the entire time. He listened to what my goals were for the grooming appointment and Tobey has truly never looked better after a grooming. The clean up cut is perfect and his coat is shiny and beautiful! But even more importantly, Tobey was happy and energetic afterwards which clearly showed that Jared took great care of him. I can’t recommend Jared enough and already look forward to our next appointment!

I went to get help with finding a dog food my boy would eat. And was able to get my poodle groomed too. He looks great and feels great! He was a happy boy leaving there. I was also helped with dog food and my picky eater was able to find something that he is actually eating. Couldnt be more thankful for the help we received today!

Sydney is a gem! She is the absolute best groomer I’ve ever had, and my lovable dog, Barley is a different animal when being groomed. She was quick and my pup came out looking like a GD cartoon, he was so cute! I’ve never seen a cuter butt on a dog, until I met Syd! Best groom ever!

Unfortunately, I will probably not be back. I dropped my dog off at 12 and was told it would likely take four hours as they were busy. When I came to pick up at 430 and bought $50 of additional treats, they complained they had to take her out for a potty break because she had to wait an extra hour once she was done. If you’re working a job and struggling through Denver traffic and paying $200 for a haircut and five treats, it’s too much to expect a potty break. This was a convenient spot I’ve been going since I moved here two years ago, but I was shocked at how I was treated at pick up time and makes me question if they care for my animal while she’s there or see her as a burden. I’ve never left a business less than a five star review or tipped anyone less than 20% before today

My dog HATES baths. She loves Kriser’s to go and pick out her treats/food/toys, so I decided to try out their grooming. My girl was treated amazing, she looks amazing, and she still loves Kriser’s even tho they bathed her!!

*CAUTION* DO NOT USE KRISER'S GROOMING SERVICES!!!I have a cat that I've taken to Kriser's for several nail trimming appointments. Everything was fine, until the last appointment. I was canceled on twice, told "I don't know how you were able to book at this time when I'm not even in the store", and then was told that I booked my DOG (I have a cat) so that's why the groomer was mixed up. Then, I posted an earlier review expressing my disappointment.I just got off the phone with the manager on duty and he said he banned me from the store BECAUSE of my review. He even admitted 100% fault, but said "that review made our groomers not want to work with you." I just shared the facts of the situation.THEY WILL TAKE REVENGE ON YOU IF YOU POST A BAD REVIEW!!!!!!!Krister's Coporate: what is going on with this store?

This is now my go to pet store! They have a great selection and the staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. Chris helped me find the perfect toy and flea spray for my very destructive pit bull and it’s such a hit with her!

Always friendly staff, good selection on food. I love that their house brand is a more affordable kibble. Plus the discounts and loyalty program are great. I wish they had more raw and unusual treats, duck hearts, frogs legs and the like.

This is the worst dog grooming experience I have ever had in my life. No dog deserved this. We paid over $100 for our dog to be sent home FILTHY after getting sick from stress which has NEVER happened before.He had been groomed here before and it was fine. Now with new management it is absolutely HORRIBLE. do not send your dog here. We used to shop here regularly. We will never be going here again.

Long time customer, first time reviewer. Krisers has always done an awesome job with their grooming services (get the blueberry facial if you want to pamper your pup). This time was no different, and Sydney was fantastic taking care of my older, almost 15yr old dog, being gentle with her during her bath, brushing and deshed. Can’t recommend Sydney, and Krisers, enough!

I absolutely love this place! Nikki has helped me so much with figuring out what I need for my pup. She has the most beautiful and well behaved dog which she trained, and serves as a wonderful example of her knowledge and expertise. I have yet to be led astray. The assortment of supplies here is plentiful and I haven’t met a staff member that has been anything less than kind and friendly.I took my pup in for grooming with Emily and I knew immediately that he was in safe hands. As this was his first appointment, she walked me through everything and handled him with so much care. We will be coming back for supplies and grooming.

I have recently inherited my sons 10 year old cat:). Not having had a cat on over 20 years I walked over to Kriser's LoDo store and Nikki helped me find all the right food that my picky eater loves! Nikki is warm, friendly and super helpful now each time I return. I love the feeling of a neighborhood store where you are known and taken care of...especially these days with all the chains!

Earl loves Kriser! We started going here because it was close to us. It's definitely pricier than some pet stores, but it's because there is higher quality stuff. We've gotten some good recommendations and the employees are so helpful with letting us know when deals are coming up for the food we buy. They also always give Earl some love and sometimes a treat or two.

My rating is based off my dog's grooming outcome, and not the store, products or employees. The staff was nice, and the place was fine. However, I brought my maltipoo for grooming today and was very disappointed in the results, especially for $87. My dog's ears are shaped differently. The haircut is sloppy. For example, she's missing hair under her underarms, and the shaping of her belly is off. The paw pads and nails look almost like how they started. The face doesn't look great. For example, instead of blending the hair on her face after cutting away the tear stains, it looks choppy. The intent of this feedback is to improve the performance of the groomers. I like the small pet shop feel. I just recently got over $30 in rewards which comes as a gift certificate which is easy to use. They have great deals often! Helpful staff. I like to feed my pets less processed food which Kriser's has and I actually spend less than what I would at the bigger pet stores especially when they have the great deals and with their rewards program.

Really enjoyed our visit to Denver, and Kriser's was my dog's favorite spot! We took him to get some fun toys and treats, and he had the best time! The staff were so kind and gave him lots of love and recommended some great products. We got him all kinds of natural bones and chews and some really tough fabric toys.

Such an amazing experience! My pup Blossom felt so comfortable with Jared! She hates baths but he made her feel so comfortable. Her tail was wagging away! Deff recommend coming here and asking for jared!

We had been going to this groomer for a few years and we will never go back. The groomer Adrian took notes when we asked for a trim (I said if you are short on time, just leave his head alone--I'll trim it). When we got there to pick him up 6 hours later we literally did not recognize our dog, he had been completely shaved from nose to tip of tail and was shaking and traumatized. He was there for 6 hours and they did not even have an excuse for why they decided to go rogue and shave him. He has been shaking since the experience yesterday... I don't even think Adrian gave him the shave because I spoke with her so clearly beforehand and she seemed to understand ... no idea what is going on at krisers these days but do not take your pets there if you love your pets. This my first review of anything ever, but I thought folks should be warned because of our dog's terrible experience... we can't even take him hiking today bc he will get a sunburn... thanks for ruining our summer krisers...
